Klein leaves Tingen after he resurrected. He uses the name Sherlock Moriarty in Lord of Mysteries season 2. He comes to Backlund. He needs to use his talent to blend in with the environment. He becomes a private detective for not letting his identity be detected. He gives new function to Tarot Club. He helps the members complete the trade. He can catch the chance to peek if the members trade messages. The trade isn’t affected by the locations. The members get benefits from the new function.
Klein And Madam Sharon Kill Rosago
Miss Justice Audrey Hall is the first beneficiary. She advances to Sequence Eight Telepathist. Klein accepts his first task in Backlund. The little boy Ian Wright wishes Klein to confirm the condition of his boss. Klein finds out that Ian’s boss is dead. He divines the location of the body. But he gets involved in the danger. Ian’s boss is related to the gangsters. Klein contacts Ian. So those guys plan to kill Klein as well.
But the killer underestimates Klein’s power. He’s killed by Klein instead. The mastermind is the ambassador of the Intis Republic. His name is Bakerland Jean Madan. Klein buys Language of Foulness and a gun for protecting himself. He knows the Beyonder Maric. He promises to pay Demoness Pathway Sequence 5 Affliction Madam Sharon. Madam Sharon agrees to protect Klein for three days.
Klein posts a reward at Tarot Club. He asks the members to kill Bakerland. Audrey got the bounty after the Pirate Admiral Qilangos was killed. She thinks she should return it to the follower of The Fool. She plans to pay 10,000 pounds. He spreads the message through her circles. Bakerland is killed by the secret group Aurora Order. Aurora Order has a big plan.
Bakerland sends Rosago to kill Klein. Rosago is the Fool Pathway Sequence Six Faceless. Klein and Madam Sharon kill Rosago. Klein gets the potion formulas and Beyonder characteristics of the Fool Pathway Sequence Six-Nine. Rosago also has a contaminated Sequence Five Beyonder characteristic All-Black Eye. Klein obtains Sequence Five potion formula.
Madam Sharon insists on protecting Klein for three days even if she helped him kill Rosago. Klein completes two tasks during the period. He helps Mary Schott get the evidence that her husband cheated on her. The task isn’t important. Most importantly, Klein enters Quelaag Club. He knows two key roles Talim Dumont and Aaron Ceres there. Another task is that he helps a businessman who just came to Backlund explore the secret passage under his house.
Klein enters the secret passage. He finds out that the building comes from Fourth Epoch. There’re many god statues there. God of Steam and Machinery, Evernight Goddess, God of Knowledge and Wisdom, Eternal Blazing Sun, Lord of Storms, Earth Mother, God of Combat and Death.
Klein Finds His Enemy
Klein reaches the door. He and Madam Sharon sense the danger at the same time. They run away immediately. Klein decides not to explore. But Madam Sharon makes an appointment with Klein. Klein can contact her if he wants to investigate the place again. He makes an excuse that there’re many snakes in the secret passage. He demolishes the place. He lets the businessman seal the secret door.
Klein and Madam Sharon explore the place together before he leaves Backlund. They discover an evil spirit. So they landfill the place. Madam Sharon leaves. Klein can go to the Gray Fog to divine a series of recent events. He uses the Beyonder power of All-Black Eye. He creates a fake Tarot Club member. Mr. World takes the stage at Tarot Club. Klein can communicate with other members easily in Mr. World’s help. He doesn’t have to worry that his identity will be discovered by other members. The Fool is still the mysterious presence.

But Klein finds the trace of Lanevus. This guy was the one who made Megose have the Evil God. He was one of the ringleaders who caused the Nighthawks to die and injured. He killed Dunn indirectly. Klein gets the message. He stands in front of the mirror. He grabs his fist tightly. His voice is hoarse. He tells the captain that it’s the first step he takes revenge for him.

He goes to the dock where Lanevus appeared. He disguises as a reporter. He makes an excuse to interview the workers. He looks for Lanevus. He sees the man. His body trembles and his smile is almost out of control. He goes to the restroom. He smiles. He ends the interview and he leaves. He knows he’s too weak. He would choose to take revenge in person if he’s strong. He’s just the Sequence Eight Clown. But Lanevus has the smell of True Creator. Lanevus’s position is enough to make Klein afraid. Klein lets Audrey report it to Church of the Evernight Goddess. Church of the Evernight Goddess is told that Lanevus has the divinity of Evil God. Church of the Evernight Goddess and Audrey are surprised that they missed Evil God.
