Dong-Man lives in the building in We Are All Trying Here episode 4. He remembers Eun-A told him that she wanted to throw the 500 won coins for him. He reveals one of his students wrote a story. The girl has a chance to date the man who she has had a crush on for a long time. But she oversleeps and she’s late.
Dong-Man was angry after he saw the story. He said that he would prepare it early in the morning. He wouldn’t oversleep. Because it was the day that he dated the person he liked. The student relied that he would sleep soundly when he felt that he was loved.
Dong-Man had a good sleeping last night. He cooks an egg for himself. He sends a message to Jun-Hwan. He tells the good news to his friend. Jun-Hwan calls Dong-Man. He tells him that he didn’t sleep last night. He sent his script to Eun-A. But the girl didn’t reply. He’s nervous. He hangs up when Eun-A calls him. She tells him that his script is great. He feels relieved. He offers to have dinner together. He knows she’s not off duty. But she says that she has a plan. She will email the note to him.
Dong-Man runs to the watch company. He tells the staff that he felt good. He thinks the data shows it. He notices that Eun-A is at the company as well. The psychiatrist stops Eun-A from leaving. She reveals they found the person who had unknown feeling pattern like her. The emotional characteristics matches the symptoms when she has a nosebleed. She tells her that she’s not alone.
Dong-Man and Eun-A leave the watch company together. They get on the subway. She tells him that she has 20 types of emotions. Those guys plan to name the emotions when they gather the people who have the same emotions. He thinks it’s funny. He wishes his watch will show unknown. He asks her when the unknown appeared. She says that it happened when she felt intense anger and despair. He thinks it’s high blood pressure. It promotes her to laugh. She names the emotion self-destruction.
He thinks the emotion is even scarier than hunger. But she points out that the word isn’t used to describe emotions. But he says that the word is very apt. He felt it was truly breathtaking at the moment. The one is a genius who came up with describing the emotion with hunger. He was excruciating. But he had to admire.
He admires those guys who are good at writing. His brother was a poet. He says that there’re two kinds of writers in the world. The one who read the whole dictionary, and the one who didn’t do it. He read the dictionary three times. He created a vocabulary on his own. He wanted to seek the truth in writing.
Eun-A asks Dong-Man what his brother is doing. He guesses his brother is doing welding and drinking. He tells her that wanted poster is better than posthumous photograph. She needs to make his move, not ruining herself.
They go to a cafe. She says that people aren’t simple in her eyes. They’re a kind of collection of emotions. It’s as if people aren’t made of flesh and blood. They’re made of emotions. She’s sure that everyone there can be described by a kind of emotions. Caution, arrogance and self-righteous. He looks at those guys. He realizes that they’re a collection of emotions. She says that positive collections aren’t too many. He doesn’t understand why people on the subway are so ugly. It’s not their faces that are ugly. It’s their emotions. She asks him if he knows why kids are cute. Because their emotions haven’t gathered.
He asks her what kind of collection he is. He wants her to speak out the first idea in her brain. He asks her not to change it. She says uneasy. He tells her that she’s right. But he thinks it’s human nature. Everyone exists as an individual. They would feel uneasy. The word he likes is peaceful. He doesn’t have the feeling. But he knows what it looks like. It’s like that he eats orange while he’s covered by a blanket in winter. He talks a lot because the sense of uneasy attacks him. He wants to overcome it. He fears silence. He worries that truth will pop up from silence.
She asks him about the truth. He feels that there’s a monster who whispers in his ear. The monster tells him that his presence is worthless.
Jung-Hui walks on the stage. She smiles when the people applaud. She says that she didn’t dare to watch her movies. Because she worried that she failed. But the script was written well. She cannot fail. She thinks she can make a movie that makes her daughter proud.
Jung-Hui returns to the lounge. Sang-Jin reports it to her that Dong-Hyeon invited them to drink at the base. He thinks the guy was very happy. Because the box office surpassed one million. The guy expects that they will surpass ten million.
Sang-Jin asks Mi-Ran if she will join them. But she says that she needs to go to a restaurant. She got the seat after she had waited for two months. He’s surprised that she was patient. She says that she’s serious when it comes to food. But Jung-Hui asks her daughter not to say that she takes something seriously. She can say that she likes food. It sounds like that it’s much more sincere. She points out that she used the trending word to pretend that she was hot. But she’s not hot at all. The actress who doesn’t have her own style won’t last too long.
At the base, Dong-Hyeon is very happy when he checks his cell phone. He smells success when he looks at the number. He admits that the mother resolved the problem that the daughter caused. Hye-Jin shows up. She apologizes to him. Because the mess was created by her. He comforts her that she can only get a box office hit after she fails ten times. She wants to know when she will encounter the box office hit. He tells her that she will make it as long as she follows him. He asks her what her husband is doing. He wants to drink with the guy. She asks him not to care for her husband. Because her husband doesn’t feel well.
The next day, Dong-Man is at home. He asks Jin-Man to eat something when he drinks. He goes out. He receives a message from Gyeong-Se. Gyeong-Se wants Dong-Man to eat what he wrote. Dong-Man doesn’t work well. Because his mood was affected by Gyeong-Se.
At Choi Film, Hyo-Jin sees Gyeong-Se’s message. She tells the girl that Dong-Man might want to die. Eun-A hears Hyo-Jin’s words. Gyeong-Se meets the props master in the office. He buys a toy gun from him.
In the evening, Dong-Man passes by the base. Gyeong-Se sees the guy. He provokes him if he read his article. Dong-Man ignores Gyeong-Se. He walks away. Gyeong-Se gets into the base. He tells his friends that Dong-Man wouldn’t read his article. Someone throws a stone into a base. Gyeong-Se goes to chase the person. The person is Eun-A.
At the base, Hye-Jin tells her husband that she cannot stand it. She hits him with a hammer. She tells him that she disallowed Dong-Man to come to the base because she couldn’t stand the guy. She couldn’t stand the ugly looks of him in front of the guy. The guy only needed a sentence to make him shake all over. She threatens him that she will disallow him to get into her base if he does it again.
The next day at Choi Film, Dong-Hyeon sees the news that Mi-Ran isn’t Jung-Hui’s biological daughter. Eun-A remembers her mother Jung-Hui and her father left home when she was a kid. She went to school. She ate alone and slept alone.
The psychiatrist thinks Eun-A should have told it to the teacher. She realizes that she worried that she would be in danger. Eun-A denies it. She says that she couldn’t let anyone find out that she was abandoned.
Sang-Jin talks with Dong-Hyeon over the phone. He claims that the kid was taken care of by her father. But Dong-Hyeon thinks the truth isn’t important at all. It’s real that the truth is spoken out by the daughter. Sang-Jin says that Jung-Hui couldn’t reach her daughter. Dong-Hyeon reminds Sang-Jin that it’s not a good sign. Jung-Hui’s career will be over as long as she makes a mistake. He allows him to issue an official statement. But he should say it with sadness.
Eun-A is off duty. She looks at her mother’s poster. She thinks Jung-Hui abandoned her daughter and her husband because they weren’t good enough to her. She changed a more glamorous new family. She got what she wanted.
The next day, Dong-Hyeon meets Jun-Hwan. He tells him that his script is cheap. Jun-Hwan points out that Eun-A thought his script was good. Dong-Hyeon tells Jun-Hwan that he doesn’t like the girl. He asks him if he wants to be fired. Jun-Hwan mentions Eun-A didn’t cast any actress when she read the script. Dong-Hyeon realizes why he had a headache when he read the script. Because he couldn’t figure out any suitable actress. He walks out of his office. He asks Eun-A to come in.
Eun-A walks into Dong-Hyeon’s office. Dong-Hyeon asks her who should play the role. She says Mi-Ran. He thinks Mi-Ran won’t take the role. Unless she wants to ruin her future.
Eun-A and Jun-Hwan leave Dong-Hyeon’s office. He apologizes to her for not convincing Dong-Hyeon. He doesn’t know who he should believe if he doesn’t believe his intuition. Eun-A returns to her office. Hyo-Jin learns that Dong-Man kept sending messages to Eun-A. She thinks Eun-A is close to the guy. She wonders if she wants to go to confirm it on her own. She asks her if she thinks the guy is an embarrassment. Eun-A tells her senior that she’s an embarrassment. Hyo-Jin wishes Eun-A will give up and quit film industry. She tells her not to cheat herself that she gets talent because of a fleeting moment of fame. Otherwise she will get an ending like Dong-Man.
In the evening, Dong-Man is at home. He pretends to sleep. He tricks Jin-Man to pay the bill for him. He enjoys the takeout for free. He gets a call from Eun-A. She asks him to tell her an interesting story. He says that he just experienced a strange thing. He ordered a takeout. He lay down to rest. But he didn’t sleep. He heard the sound of footsteps of his brother. But his brother stepped on him suddenly. He heard that his brother took a bottle of wine. He wondered why was the one who stepped on him. He thought he was going to die. But the sleep paralysis was gone.
Dong-Man tells Eun-A not to resist the stuff that causes her pain. It’s like sleep paralysis. She can make it as long as she ignores it. He says that he had a hard time. He did it because he was interviewed. The interviewer asked him why he wanted to make movie. He said that he wanted to see the people who lived on the other side of the world. Dong-Man tells Eun-A that he couldn’t control his tears. It promotes her to laugh. Her nosebleed stops.
The next day, Dong-Man goes out. He finds a coin. He’s happy to greet the kid. At Choi Film, Dong-Hyeon asks Eun-A why she has Director Kim’s script. He threatens her that he will give her a lesson if he finds out that she reviews scripts without letting him know about it.
In the classroom, Dong-Man tells the students that they should let the story run. He pretends to play a guitar. Eun-A walks into Dong-Hyeon’s office. She tells Dong-Hyeon that she’s not good at dealing with those people who bully her. She always chose to avoid it. But she wants them to learn their lesson this time. She doesn’t think how good he is. She thinks he’s a real headache. She’s a quiet person. But she’s not an easy target. She asks him not to misunderstand that she will resign.
Eun-A walks out of Dong-Hyeon’s office. She guesses Hyo-Jin is very happy after she saw her being excluded. But she hopes she speaks her mind like Dong-Man. It’s so satisfying after she saw her losing Dong-Hyeon’s favor. Dong-Hyeon walks out of his office. He tries to say something to Eun-A. But she claims that she needs to leave work early. She doesn’t want to stay to endure the awkward atmosphere. She doesn’t care. She knows she can do it. Because she has been trapped in the seat since she was nine years old. She asks her colleagues if they can endure it. She leaves.

Dong-Man is on the way to the base. He calls Gyeong-Se. He learns that he’s in the base. He asks him to come out to have a meeting. Gyeong-Se walks out of the base. He asks Dong-Man if he swallowed every word. Dong-Man complains it to Gyeong-Se that he got sleep paralysis when he read his stuff. Each word hurt him like a needle. He wishes he would do that when he wrote the scripts. He got angry because he thought he had a rough time. He tells the seven people that they didn’t do any better than him. So they shouldn’t pretend that they’re a cut above the rest.
Jin-Man shows up. He punches Gyeong-Se. He asks him to leave Dong-Man to him. But Dong-Man bites Jin-Man. Jin-Man hits Dong-Man. Dong-Man’s friends try to protect Dong-Man. Jin-Man and Dong-Man are taken to the police station. The cop asks Dong-Man about his job. Eun-A shows up. She sits next to Dong-Man. She tells the cop that Dong-Man is a director. She claims that she’s the executive producer.
