At AS Group Fall Team-Building Event, Dong-Man keeps eating in We Are All Trying Here episode 3. He tells his colleague that he would eat vegetables when he was happy. He shaves in the restroom. He goes to the watch XIMFIT company to meet Eun-A. He’s assigned to the team of 40-year-old unemployed men after he accepted the test. She’s assigned to the team of 30-year-old women experiencing psychological distress. He figures it out that Jun-Hwan described her that way.

Eun-A denies it. She reveals someone else recommended her. Other colleagues don’t know she wears the watch. They said that wearing the watch can help the people who have emotional distress. Dong-Man believes that there’s a word making her heart race. He didn’t know the word “unemployment” would make his heart race. He guesses she will encounter it. She says that her heart races when she hears it. He learns that she has a word. She reveals she has many words. It’s the names of the men who left her. When she heard the names of the people who denied her, her heart would race immediately.
He says that he doesn’t care much about names. She guesses his relationship is simple. He tells her that everyone denied him. Everyone looked down on him. He looked down on those guys as well. He realizes that there’s nobody or thing that he likes because of the watch, except food. Food is the only thing that he respects and likes. His favorite words are written on the menu. It’s the most beautiful words. He realizes that he’s a guy who has a tendency to be destructive. He was completely convinced by the watch when he went to a cafe.
He heard a piercing sound of brakes and a crash. He was startled and his heart raced. He thought it was fear. But the watch showed excitement. He covered the watch. Because he worried that others would see it. He accepted the reality that he was excited.
He admits it to her that he thinks love and peace are boring. His eyes will sparkle when he hears the words revenge and destruction. He decides not to pretend to be a nice person. When Gyeong-Se’s movie flopped, he was very happy. A flood of negative reviews. The guy got absolutely slammed. Everybody in the nation realized that how terrible he was. Dong-Man was satisfied with it after knowing it. He cooked a pot of fresh ice. He danced for the first time. He took pleasure in others’ misfortune. He didn’t feel guilty at all. It’s the feeling of peace of mind.
He knows she might ask him aren’t you two pretty close? He denies it. They’re old friends. But they don’t get along well. They were very close when they were on equal footing. All the people were nobody. They gathered together and ranted about other people’s movies. Gyeong-Se was the one who had the sharpest tongue. They debuted one by one. Now they don’t take him when they rant. They’re cold each time he shows up. It’s as if that they’re in a different league from him. They don’t want to fight him.
Eun-A praises Dong-Man for opening his heart when he wrote the script. He asks her why she said so in Dong-Hyeon’s office. She thought the protagonist in “Weather Man” wasn’t like him. He’s cooler than the protagonist. He’s more rustic and more warm.
In the evening, Eun-A and Dong-Man leave the cafe together. She mistook that she would feel better after she wore the watch. But she’s not happy at all. She tries to improve her mood. But it doesn’t work. He tells her that she cannot force herself to improve her mood. When she feels down, she picks up 500 won coin. It’s a small victory. It will improve her mood. It cannot do it with willpower. So he runs down the street every day. He offers to enjoy the joy that breaks the record. She runs down the street with him. He discovers that they just broke a new record.
Dong-Man says goodbye to Eun-A. He passes by Hye-Jin’s restaurant. He breaks into the restaurant. He sees Dong-Hyeon. He pushes him against the wall. He flees.
Dong-Man eats with Jin-Man at home. He has an illusion that he cooks with Eun-A. Jin-Man threatens his brother that he will send him to a psychiatric hospital if he doesn’t restrain himself. He asks him about the property management fees. Dong-Man has paid it. He persuades Jin-Man not to drink on an empty stomach.
The next day at the movie theater, Hye-Jin calls Dong-Hyeon. She asks him to arrange her husband’s movie on the weekend. He points out that only the box-office hit will get the treatment. She offers to give free tickets. It’s only 3,000 tickets. He agrees. He hangs up. He complains that the one who suffered a loss was him.
Mi-Ran rests with Gyeong-Se in the room. She laughs when she reads the comments. She tells him that his best movie is his first movie.
The next day, Gyeong-Se goes hiking after he saw the comments. He’s in a bad mood. Yeong-Su adds Gyeong-Se into the group chat again after the guy quit. Dong-Man posts a message that Gyeong-Se made it because his wife was the executive producer. Yeong-Su sees the message. He blames Dong-Man. He calls Seung-Tae. He’s told that nobody would read the message. He asks him not to let Gyeong-Se see the message. He asks him not to call the guy. So the guy won’t read the message and quit the group chat.
Gyeong-Se is on the mountain top. He reads Dong-Man’s message. He’s furious to scold the guy. Dong-Man eats snacks with his student at the stall. He receives a present from him. He asks him to be a person who has given up. At Choi Film, the advance tickets aren’t changed even if Dong-Hyeon gave some tickets for free. He orders the girl not to promote the movie. So they won’t waste money. He guesses nobody would guess the opening-week box office of Gyeong-Se’s movie. But Eun-A did it. He walks to her. He congratulates her. Because she was right. He throws two bills on her desk. He asks her about the box office of the movie on the wall. But she doesn’t give him the answer.
Hyo-Jin tells the girl that the restaurant is like a paradise on earth. Because Dong-Man isn’t there. Eun-A sighs. Hyo-Jin notices that Eun-A sighed. She asks her why she did it. Eun-A thinks Hyo-Jin was mean. Because Hyo-Jin called Dong-Man trash. Hyo-Jin points out that Eun-A was mean as well. But she loses her edge. She always takes Dong-Man’s side. She doesn’t know the guy. She treats them as bad guys. Eun-A claims that she will go to confirm it on her own.
Hyo-Jin is furious to get into the room. She mentions Eun-A dared to talk back to her. Eun-A was a junior staff member. Hyo-Jin promoted Eun-A. Because she had unique insights into the scripts. She doesn’t realize the situation after she got into trouble.
In the evening, Dong-Man runs into Ki-Ri on the street. Yeong-Su drinks with Gyeong-Se at a restaurant. He comforts him that Dong-Man did it because the guy didn’t know he was in the group chat. Dong-Man shows up. He orders an omelet. He takes a look at Gyeong-Se. He guesses he went hiking. He thinks it’s the best to go hiking when he has something on his mind. He asks him to hang in there. He praises him for going hiking. Because he gave up when he tried to go hiking. He asks him which mountain he conquered.
Dong-Man admits it to Gyeong-Se that he enjoyed it. He was fully of energy. He was very happy. Gyeong-Se takes off his hat. He takes out the harshest criticism that he printed. He read the criticism. He told himself that he should have swallowed it. If he doesn’t do it, the bad reviews will follow him all his life. But he found out that he was still in the group chat after he swallowed the reviews. He felt relieved that his wife quit the group chat. He discovered that thirty percent of the reviews that he swallowed was written by Dong-Man.
Gyeong-Se was lost because he was too angry. He managed to find the path down the mountain. He told himself that he shouldn’t have died. Because he needed to kill Dong-Man. He mentions what Dong-Man asked him how dare he show up at the meet-and-greet? Those actresses ignored him. He checked his cell phone in the lounge. He wanted to tear up. He was ostracized at the age. It’s fine that he attacked him. But it broke his heart that he attacked his movie. He feels sorry for his senior directors. He guesses they tasted the excruciating pain.
Gyeong-Se tells Dong-Man that he didn’t make it to the stage. So he has no compassion. He’s gloating when he sees someone else’s failure. He’s an ant. Dong-Man returns home. He stops Jin-Man from killing himself. He reads a poem for him.
The next day, Jae-Yeong visits Hye-Jin. She thanks him for giving the script to her. But she smells someone’s smell in the script. He admits it to her that his friend helped him. But she knows the person wrote the script. The roles’ lines aren’t his style. It’s someone else’s style. It’s a girl. She can tell because she’s a girl as well. The script was affected by a girl. She wonders if there was a reason that she couldn’t sign her name as co-writer. He claims that the girl just checked it. She didn’t have the right to sign her name. Hye-Jin asks Jae-Yeong if the girl knew his script won. She thinks it should make it clear. It will be hard to be resolved if there’s a problem.
Jae-Yeong visits Eun-A in the evening. He discovers that she read Dong-Man’s script. She returns home. They have a meeting outside the house. She brings up that they wrote the script together. But he got the prize. He claims that he wrote the script on his own. She asks him to let her sign her name. He wishes she will die. He tells her that he knew she worked with the trash Dong-Man.
Hye-Jin takes Jae-Yeong to her restaurant. She tells him that the place cannot contain the person who only cares about his own selfish desires. If he wants to tale all the credit, he should have chosen a solo art. He leaves the restaurant.
Yeong-Su eats with Dong-Man at another restaurant. He persuades him to be nice to Gyeong-Se. Because Gyeong-Se has a hard time. Dong-Man blames Yeong-Su for asking him to be nice to those guys. He knows those guys don’t like him at all. He claims that he’s very likable.
Eun-A is at home. She receives the fallen leaves he caught for her. He gives the good luck to her. At the restaurant, Dong-Man tells Yeong-Su that he felt uneasy when he met his friends. He knew he wasn’t welcomed. But he forced himself to join them. So he kept talking to overcome the anxiety. He talked and laughed until he shed tears.
Dong-Man leaves the restaurant. He walks on the street. He remembers Hye-Jin told him that he could get into the restaurant until he got a girlfriend. She thought he would come to his senses when he hugged the girl. Dong-Man looks at the fallen leave. He wants someone to stop him.

Su-Ja walks into the room. She notices that Eun-A had a nosebleed. She takes her to the hospital. Eun-A asks her grandma if she has a coin of 500 won. She tells the doctor that she didn’t feel any pain after Dong-Man made her laugh. The watch showed that she was easy.
Dong-Man gets off the bus. He sees Eun-A. She remembers she told the doctor that her mother was the first one who denied her. She looks at the poster of the movie “My Mother”. A car is coming toward her. It hits another car. Dong-Man notices it. He runs to Eun-A. The girl hides behind the car. She’s fine. He laughs to tell her that he was startled. The watch shows that he worries about her. He’s surprised that it doesn’t show excitement. He cheers after knowing he’s not a monster. He tries to walk away. She asks him where he lives. She takes out 500 won coins. She wants to throw the coins for him.
