In the palace, Grand Prince isn’t allowed to leave his room in My Royal Nemesis episode 9. He looks at Dan-Sim’s painting. Outside the room, Dan-Sim brings him some porridge. She asks him to eat it when it’s warm. He worries that she will be seen by someone. She cries to tell him that she’s scared. She asks him to tell her the truth. He thinks she’s too naive. This is why she was used by the man. He suggests that she should go to look for her way out. He asks her not to visit him.

At present, Se-Gye asks Dan-Sim if she’s Dan-Sim. She guesses he talks nonsense because he drank. He reveals there’s a woman always appearing in his dream. An ancient palace maid who doesn’t have any friends and family. At first, he just treated it as an ordinary dream. But the more he thought about it, the stranger it seemed. Because he thought the woman was her. He wonders if he’s crazy. She scolds him. She thinks he cannot distinguish between dreams and reality.

At the party, Dan-Sim keeps following Bu-Sun. Bu-Sun suggests that Dan-Sim should go to talk to some people. So she will get a commercial. Dan-Sim talks back that she wouldn’t sign with a talent agency if she needs to call out her face like a street vendor. She tells Bu-Sun that there’s no way that she wants to make money while doing nothing.

Se-Gye joins Dan-Sim when she’s checking the cake. She asks him if he’s fine. He reveals he dreamed of Mun-Do. The guy was a tyrant in the making in the dream. Dan-Sim realizes that it wasn’t just a dream. She wonders if Se-Gye can see the past.

Tae-Hee shows up. Se-Gye mentions what he said that they communicated via the secretaries before they broke off the engagement. Dan-Sim reminds Se-Gye that someone would hear it. He thinks he didn’t think it through. He will pay attention to it next time. Tae-Hee tells Se-Gye that she’s still his fiancee. Dan-Sim allows Se-Gye to hold Tae-Hee’s hand and walk around. She thinks they should grant Tae-Hee’s dying wish.

Dal-Su shows up. He expresses that he should have come. Because it’s his grandson’s Brand Launch Event. Tae-Hee says that she would go to pick him up if he told it to her. He laughs. He thinks she became a supportive wife. He tells her that Se-Gye is a lucky guy.

Dan-Sim tries to leave. But Se-Gye stops her while he grabs her hand. He introduces her as the official spokesperson to Dal-Su. Dan-Sim pretends to be a cat. She calls Dal-Su grandpa. Se-Gye stops his girlfriend. He tells her that she should call Dal-Su chairman. She mentions he asked her to call him president. She can tell that he’s so sensitive about titles like an old relic. It’s the hereditary of his family.

Dal-Su is surprised that the model is so easy in front of the boss. Se-Gye explains that Dan-Sim was filming a costume drama. She got too caught up in the role.

Mun-Do leaves the party. He returns to his office. Nam-Jin reports to Mun-Do that Se-Gye’s image is gradually recovering. Mun-Do believes that Se-Gye rode on Dal-Su’s coattails. Everyone expects the future successor of Chail Group. Mun-Do asks Nam-Jin if the nurse hasn’t regained consciousness. Nam-Jin says yes. But they bribed the Nurse’s medical team. They will contact immediately if there’re any issues. Mun-Do asks Nam-Jin not to make any mistakes this time.

The next day, Dan-Sim visits Jung-Ae in the tent. She tells her that she appeared in Se-Gye’s dream. Jung-Ae thinks it’s not a precognitive dream since the guy saw the past. She guesses he was reborn. Dan-Sim tells Jung-Ae that she should keep up with the times even if she’s a shaman. She shouldn’t have talked nonsense. Jung-Ae points out that Se-Gye could be reborn since they traveled through time and space. She asks Dan-Sim who Se-Gye was in his past life. She guesses Se-Gye was the person close to Mun-Do since Mun-Do was a king.

In Jung-Hyun’s office, Jung-Hyun asks Se-Gye if he was under a lot of pressure. Se-Gye complains it to his friend that he was surrounded by landmines. He asks for some sleeping pills. But Jung-Hyun persuades Se-Gye not to put on a brave face. He should be easy. Jung-Hyun guesses it was a precognitive dream. Se-Gye scolds Jung-Hyun. He points out that it’s the past, not the future. Jung-Hyun tells Se-Gye that the future and the past are related to the present. He thinks there’re parallel universes.

Se-Gye returns to his office. Jae-Han says that it’s a signal that the chairman came. He believes that they will return to the headquarters. He plans to take a vacation before they return to the headquarters. But Se-Gye doesn’t want to take a vacation. His gums are a little sore. Jae-Han suggests that Se-Gye should go to see a dentist. The secretary walks into the office. She asks Se-Gye to sign on the script “A Woman’s Kingdom”. He remembers Seo-Ri filmed the k-drama. He sees the commercial “A Rainy Night in A Shared Room”.

King tries to sleep with Seo-Ri in the room. But she pushes him away. He doesn’t understand why she’s so shy. He reminds her that she’s not a virgin. She asks him to blow out the candle. But he refuses to do that. He wants to take a good look at her.

Se-Gye is furious to throw away the script. He asks Jae-Han to contact the person who’s in charge of the commercial. On the set, Assistant Director tells Dan-Sim that the scene was changed to Silkworm-Rearing Ceremony. Dan-Sim replaces the Queen to film the scene. Ji-Hyo is furious to call Bu-Sun. She blames the director and the writer for sending a notification of changes on the day of the shoot. Bu-Sun explains that they got a commercial. The amount isn’t small sum. She reminds Ji-Hyo that the budget for costume dramas is very tight.

Ji-Hyo expresses that she doesn’t understand why her solo show was replaced. Bu-Sun points out that it wouldn’t happen if Ji-Hyo took the commercial from the very beginning. Ji-Hyo says that she doesn’t want to film the commercial that Seo-Ri endorses. Bu-Sun thinks Ji-Hyo feels inferior. Ji-Hyo doesn’t believe that she’s not better than Seo-Ri. She remembers the director praised Seo-Ri when they were kids.

In Mun-Do’s office, Mun-Do calls his son. He asks him to eat well. But his son wants to see him. Mun-Do says that he’s very busy. His son hangs up. Mun-Do takes out the present he bought his son. He decides to go to the United States. Nam-Jin walks into the office. He reports it to Mun-Do that the hospital called them.

Mun-Do walks out of the office. He scolds Nam-Jin for losing the patient. Nam-Jin explains it to Mun-Do that the patient was still unconscious when the nurse checked the ward. She called a cab at the hospital. They’re tracking the palaces where she might go. Mun-Do asks Nam-Jin to find the patient as soon as possible.

The next day on the set, Dan-Sim gives a candy to Eun-A. The director tells Dan-Sim that the president of the Partner Company chose her. Se-Gye drives to the set. He guesses the bed scenes were deleted. He runs into King. He asks him to avoid bed scenes with Se-Gye. He turns around. He sees Dan-Sim.

Dan-Sim blames Se-Gye for breaking into the set without talking to her. She thinks he didn’t count the consequences. He says that he had strange dreams because he took it too seriously while he worked. He thinks it’s time to live life on his own terms. She tells him that he has done it. He changed the script. He heard that the male lead has a very bad reputation. The guy intended not to film kissing scenes well. He tangled his partners to act. He was a creep.

Se-Gye claims that he’s protecting the actress of his company. He thinks he doesn’t have to defend himself. He tells Dan-Sim that she should thank him. She thanks him for helping her earn a scene. But he wants her to give him a kiss. She tries to feed him the candy. He says that he hates sweets. So she takes away the candy. He stops her. He sucks her fingers with the candy. He says that it’s very sweet. She complains it to him that the saliva is gross.

At Dal-Su’s house, Dal-Su asks Mun-Do to arrange a position for Se-Gye at the company. Mun-Do reminds Dal-Su that he should ask Se-Gye what he thinks. He thinks the guy cannot do both. Because he has a big company. Dal-Su points out that they can let a professional manager manage Biojei Corporation. He thinks his grandson can do anything as long as he makes the decision.

Se-Gye and Dan-Sim leave the set. He asks her if she wants to go to a place with him. He reminds her that they didn’t have a date. She blames him for flirting with her with his eyes. He explains it to her that he has a toothache. She tells him that his teeth cannot take it because he chewed the candy. She thinks the good thing should be tasted slowly. The wealthy doesn’t know to cherish it. He holds her hand. He claims that he cherishes her very much. He didn’t eat her in one bite. She notices that he’s bleeding.

At the Dental Clinic, Dan-Sim suggests that Dentist should use Chicken Droppings and Straw Sandals to treat Se-Gye. But he says that it’s an impacted wisdom teeth. Se-Gye needs a surgery. Dan-Sim takes Se-Gye to the Operating Room. He asks her to stay to take care of him. In the Operating Room, Se-Gye falls asleep after he was under general anesthesia.

In Se-Gye’s dream, Grand Prince writes a love poem to Dan-Sim. But he cannot convey his feelings to her. Se-Gye wakes up in the ward. He doesn’t see Dan-Sim. He mistakes that she left. He thinks she’s heartless. Dan-Sim comes back after she went shopping. She looks out the window. She remembers she prayed for Grand Prince.

Dan-Sim enters the ward. She tells Se-Gye that she went to buy him some ice cubes. He notices that her hands are frozen stiff. He thinks she shouldn’t have taken the ice with her hands. She says that she should have done something. Because he cried out in pain. He tries to warm her hands with his hands. She asks him to lie in the bed. It will help her.

She tells him that he’s like a pufferfish. His cheeks are puffed out. She asks him if he had the dream again. He learns that she cares it a lot even if she said that it was ridiculous. He reveals the dream was a bit gloomy. He thinks it would be a sad ending. The prince was wronged, and he was locked up. He would be exiled.

Dan-Sim asks Se-Gye who he was in the dream. He says that he was Grand Prince. The man in the dream still had feelings for Dan-Sim like a fool.

The next day, Tae-Hee watches the news of her and Se-Gye at home. Her mother Joo-Mi suggests that she shouldn’t have worn the skirt. Because she would look short. Tae-Hee talks back that Joo-Mi has a sharp tongue even if she’s pretty. Joo-Mi blames Tae-Hee for not coming home after she returned to the country. She chased Se-Gye when she didn’t marry him. Tae-Hee says that she felt more at ease at the place. Nobody nagged in her ear. She asks Joo-Mi to invite her and Se-Gye over to the house.

Ok-Sun is moved to a better room after Dan-Sim spent some money. But Ok-Sun prefers to live with patients. Dal-Su eats at the restaurant. The restaurant owner tells him that Dan-Sim isn’t a good person. In the evening, Dan-Sim walks on the street. She runs into Se-Gye. He asks her if she ate.

They go to a restaurant. His tooth is better now. She brings up that he bled. She suggests that he should go to pick some herbs. But he doesn’t believe those things. He notices that the place is really noisy. But she prefers to be noisy. He reminds her that she’s a star. So she shouldn’t be recognized by someone. He asks her not to stay out too late. She’s furious to yell at him. She says that she’s not a kid. He dares to manage her. He thinks he should manage her since they’re in the flirting period. He thinks he should have the exclusive rights.

She gives a cold laugh. It’s still a long way off. He tells her that he will take care of his grandpa. She doesn’t have to worry about it. He will resolve the marriage. She mentions the newspaper said that the case worked in his favor. She thinks he doesn’t have to be careful to read her expression. He yells at her. He says that he’s not the person who would read people’s expressions. She points out that he did a good job in front of his grandpa. He explains it to her that he did it to make his grandpa have a good impression on her.

She mentions his grandpa really likes the fox. She admits that the fox really has powerful connections. He’s surprised that she gave the nickname to Tae-Hee. He comforts her that he doesn’t need the powerful connections. After all, he’s outstanding. He mentions he does a good job on his own. Se-Gye takes Dan-Sim home. She asks him to be careful of Mun-Do. He shouldn’t trust anyone. He says that he will take care of himself. But she tells him that the world isn’t that simple. There’re many people lining up to play a trick on him. He actually still has the energy to flirt with her. Lost in romantic entanglements. But he says that the world has gone to hell. So he doesn’t have to make things so complicated. He thinks there’s nothing in the world to regret as long as he has no lingering attachments.

But he doesn’t understand her. He guesses he does it because he likes her too much. She stops him. She thinks he’s a loser. He asks her not to appear in his dreams. She asks him what he will do if it’s not a dream.

The next day, Dan-Sim goes to the History Museum. She looks at the Plum Blossoms painting. She remembers she buried Grand Prince deep in my heart after she completed the painting. She runs into the history student. In Se-Gye’s office, Se-Gye asks Jae-Han if he believes in past lives. Jae-Han says yes. Because he’s a Buddhist. Se-Gye reveals someone told him that she comes from the past. Jae-Han tells Se-Gye that it’s a cult. Se-Gye regrets for telling the dream to Dan-Sim.

Back to the History Museum, Dan-Sim sees the painting Grand Prince painted for her. She sees the love letter he wrote to her. She recognizes the painting. Because the girl in the painting holds the knife that Grand Prince gave her.

It flashes back. Grand Prince is exiled. Dan-Sim tries to join him. But King stops her. He tells her that she should conceal her feelings if she wants to live. He gives the knife to her. He asks her to let the stuff witness her struggle to survive.

At present, Dan-Sim thinks it’s not love. Because it cannot be conveyed. She runs into the pharmacy. She asks the shopkeeper to pick some expensive herbs. By the river, Mun-Do suggests that Dal-Su should send Se-Gye to the United States. But Dal-Su sends Mun-Do to the United States.

In the evening, Mun-Do drives home. Se-Gye is waiting for Mun-Do. He throws the bug on the ground. He found the bug in his office. He plays the recording. The nurse asks Se-Gye to save her in the recording. Se-Gye reminds Mun-Do that he should think of his son. Mun-Do is furious to step on the bug. He mentions he’s worked his fingers to the bone to get where he is today. He tells Se-Gye that he doesn’t deserve it. He threatens him that Dal-Su won’t forgive Seo-Ri.

Dan-Sim returns home. Se-Gye is waiting for her. He mentions she went to see Mun-Do. He asks her why she did’t tell it to him. He heard that she and the guy made a deal. He tells her that he wants to be used by him. She slaps him. He yells at her. He thinks she should continue to be an evil person. He tells her that he trusts her no matter who she is. He asks her to only look at him. He kisses her.
