Sun Sanniang cooks pastries for the followers of Chi Pan. Because she offended Chi Pan. She mentions the pastries Du Changfeng gave to her. She thinks it wasn’t delicious. The landlady breaks into the room. She asks Sun Sanniang if the flower pastries were cooked by her.
Sun Sanniang admits it. The landlady feels happy. She asks Sun Sanniang to cook the flower pastries for her. Sun Sanniang rejects it because she’s going to leave. The landlady has to take the pastry from the table. Sun Sanniang stops the landlady. She promises to cook pastries for her.

Song Yinzhang tries to help Sun Sanniang when she cooks pastries in the kitchen. But Sun Sanniang tells Song Yinzhang to go out to take a walk. Song Yinzhang sees the beauty Zhang Haohao who rides on the horse when Mr. Liu pulls horse for her.
Zhang Haohao asks Lv Wu why Chi Pan didn’t pick her up. He leaks that Chi Pan is crying in the Earth God Temple. The maid reports to Zhang Haohao that Chi Pan bit his tongue after Song Yinzhang slapped him. Sun Sanniang takes Song Yinzhang to run when she’s chased by the landlady.
Song Yinzhang forgot to take her lute. Sun Sanniang has to give up Song Yinzhang. She runs away alone. Zhang Haohao is on the way to the hotel. She wants to take a look at Song Yinzhang. She runs into Song Yinzhang. She touches her face, thinking she’s very beautiful.
The landlady catches Sun Sanniang. Sun Sanniang promises to come back to teach her chefs how to cook pastries after she completes the task. She turns around and spots Zhang Haohao and Song Yinzhang. Zhang Haohao sings when Song Yinzhang plays lute. Song Yinzhang tells Zhang Haohao that she thought Chi Pan bullied her. She mentions the guy called her musician.
Zhang Haohao thinks Chi Pan didn’t intend to do that. She leaks that Chi Pan’s mother is a musician. She tells Song Yinzhang to be confident. She mentions the emperor and the empress praised her. She tells Song Yinzhang not to look down on herself if she didn’t sell herself.
Song Yinzhang tells Sun Sanniang that she likes East Capital after she was told that she can get respected by the people if she works hard as a musician. Zhao Paner hands over the pastries to He Si. She tells him to give them to Chi Pan. He thinks the pastries are too much for Chi Pan. He wants to taste it.
Zhao Paner tells He Si to continue to shout. But he takes his brothers to cry because he thinks the shout doesn’t work for Ouyang Xu. Zhao Paner stops He Si and his brothers. She tells them to try it tomorrow. Sun Sanniang tells the guys to take a break. She takes over the gong.
Sun Sanniang tells Ouyang Xu to come out if he thinks he’s a man when she hits the gong. Song Yinzhang joins her. He Si takes back the gong. He asks Ouyang Xu to repay what he owes. Uncle De takes the chief officer to show up. The officers arrest He Si and his brothers.
Uncle De tells the chief officer that Zhao Paner and her sisters are women who sell their bodies. Sun Sanniang tries to give Uncle De a lesson. But she gets slapped by the chief officer. Zhao Paner gets slapped as well. Ouyang Xu stops the officers when they beat Zhao Paner and her sisters.
The chief officer thinks the girls only know who they’re after they lose their face. Ouyang Xu tells the chief officer that he will lose his reputation as well if he continues to do it. He tells him to drive the girls out of the city.
Ouyang Xu tries to give the gold to Zhao Paner. He tells her that he let her leave East Capital was for her. She spits at him. She’s taken away by the officer. The officers take Zhao Paner and her sisters to walk on the street when people throw the vegetables to them.
The chief officer tells people that Zhao Paner and her sisters are bad women. Zhao Paner remembers what Gu Qianfan said that she will get defeated when she faces the officers. Zhao Paner walks her sisters after they got bullied. They run into Gu Qianfan who rides horse with his followers. They don’t recognize him.
Gu Qianfan stops the three ladies. He sees the wound on her forehead. He asks her what happened. She tells him that she was just hurt. He tells her not to pretend to be strong in front of him. She learns that he wants to make fun of her. She tells him that Ouyang Xu let the officers to drive her out of East Capital.
Zhao Paner borrows money from Song Yunzhang. She hands over the money to Gu Qianfan. She tells him to take back his father’s sword with the money. He takes her aside. He tells her that he has ways to help her return to East Capital. But she tells him not to get involved.

Sun Sanniang lets Zhao Paner choose the room. She leaves with Song Yinzhang. Zhao Paner walks into the room. She sees Gu Qianfan. She worries he heard what they said. He tells her that he won’t come if she doesn’t want him to get involved.
