In the 13-14th episodes of Ashes of Love Chinese Drama Recap, Luo Lin finds out Jin Mi is her daughter after she used water magic. Mu Dan tells Luo Lin that Jade Emperor and Queen hurt Zi Fen, so Zi Fen died after giving birth to Jin Mi.
Ashes of Love Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 13

Run Yu says he likes Jin Mi. Xun Feng is sad, and asks Run Yu if he knows Jin Mi is his younger sister. Run Yu thinks it’s ok as she doesn’t fall for him. Mu Dan takes Jin Mi to flower realm, and worries about her background. She decides to watch on her until Jin Mi passes her disaster.
Jade Emperor visits Jin Mi’s dream, and tells her about the scene he met previous God of flowers. He hears she can grow flower with her hand, and asks her to grow green lotus. Jin Mi thinks Jade Emperor is her father, so she agrees it. But she pretends to lack spiritual power. He thinks her mother sealed her power, so he gives her the spiritual power of five thousand years. She is pleased. Jade Emperor warns Jin Mi not to fall for Run Yu and Xu Feng.

Xu Feng asks Queen for her forgiving. She is curious why her son was against her for a beast, and fears he falls for Jin Mi. Queen asks Xu Feng to not to see Jin Mi again, so she will forgive her. He promises it, and goes to train his soldiers.
Run Yu is going to see Jin Mi, and thinks he implicated her. He notices that Queen is going to go to flower realm. So he asks Kuang Lu to trace Queen, and he asks Jade Emperor for help at the same time.
Queen shows up at flower realm, and wants to hurt Jin Mi. But Luo Lin saves her. Just then Run Yu tells Queen that Jade Emperor call her. Queen leaves since everyone wants to protect Jin Mi.

Luo Lin finds out Jin Mi can summon Yan You, and asks her if she can use water magic. Yan You lets her try it, and she succeeds. Luo Lin doesn’t say anything, but he smiles.
Jin Mi passes out because she used up her spiritual power. Mu Dan finds a male’s power is against her while treating Jin Mi, Luo Lin suppresses the power then. He affirms Jin Mi is his daughter, and Run Yu hears what Luo Lin said.
Ashes of Love Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 14
Mu Dan tries to conceal Jin Mi’s background, but Luo Lin knows Jin Mi is his daughter after checking up her inside. He feels guilty that he didn’t take duty as her father. Jin Mi is stunned after knowing god of flowers and god of water are her parents. She accepts it after Luo Lin and Mu Dan explained it.
Luo Lin asks Jin Mi where her spiritual power of flame, and she tells her father that Jade Emperor gave her in her dream. Hai Tang and Mu Dan are furious, and reveal Jade Emperor killed Zi Fen. Luo Lin is shocked. Hai Tang is against her pledge, and tells him that Zi Fen gave birth to Jin Mi while Luo Lin was getting married with god of wind. Luo Lin feels guilty, but he still doesn’t know why Zi Fen died of Jade Emperor.

Lao Hu tells Luo Lin that Jade Emperor were in relationship with Zi Fen, but he married the princess of bird tribe. Zi Fen was frustrated, and Luo Lin took care of her. But Jade Emperor raped Zi Fen, and she was furious to drink the water of Wang Chuan river. He locked her up in the Xi Wu palace, and gave marriage to Luo Lin and God of water, so Zi Fen would hate Luo Lin.
Queen worried about Zi Fen threatened her position, and forced Zi Fen to jump into the Lin Yuan building. Zi Fen knew she is dying, and gave birth to Jin Mi.
Run Yu hears Jin Mi’s story, and is pleased that she is his fiance. He worries about Luo Lin won’t agree the marriage, and Xu Feng falls for Jin Mi. He decides to owe Xu Feng this time.
Jade Emperor calls Mu Dan, and asks her if Jin Mi is his daughter. Mu Dan denies. He feels guilty to Zi Fen, and wants to make up flower realm. She tells him not to hurt Jin Mi. Jade Emperor promises it.
Jin Mi worships Zi Fen, and tells her that she is envious of friends who have mother. She says that she has mother now. Luo Lin asks Mu Dan about the seal inside Jin Mi’s body. She tells him that Jin Mi has love disaster, but she doesn’t reveal the falling pill.
Luo Lin takes Jin Mi to see Jade Emperor, and runs into Run Yu. Run Yu tells Luo Lin that he cannot get marry with her daughter because he fell for Jin Mi. Jin Mi doesn’t what he talks about, and is silent.
