Destined With You: Episode 13 Recap & Review

The shaman tells Aeng-Cho that she will be killed by the spirits if she refuses to accept them. She tells her that she won’t stop her if she wants to be killed. She strokes her face. Aeng-Cho walks in the field. She remembers what the shaman told her that they have duty to save lives. She sees her.
Aeng-Cho prays. She’s very happy when Mu-Jin leads the horse for her. She walks out of her house. Destined With You shows us the wounds on Aeng-Cho’s face. She walks in the snow. Shin-Yu meets with Hong-Jo. He doesn’t know what Aeng-Cho told to Hong-Jo. He mentions what she told him what matters is present.
Hong-Jo tries to touch Shin-Yu’s face. But he stops her. She asks him if she knows the bloody hand was her. Mu-Jin is wounded to walk to Aeng-Cho when they’re in the snow mountain. She asks him if he tricked her to steal the spell book.
Mu-Jin doesn’t reply to Aeng-Cho. He stabs her. She mentions what she said that the one who hurts her will be cursed. She strokes his face with the bloody hand. Hong-Jo reminds Shin-Yu that she was the one who put the curse on him.
But Shin-Yu doesn’t care for it. Hong-Jo tells Shin-Yu that she cares for it. She doesn’t want to see him. He tells her that it was just a dream. But she remembers the moment when he stabbed her. She cries. He grabs her hand. He asks her to take a look at him. He reminds her that he’s in front of her. But Hong-Jo takes off her hands. She asks Shin-Yu to give her some time.
Hong-Jo Knows She Cannot Lift the Curse
Hong-Jo is at home. She strokes the necklace. It flashes back. Hong-Jo meets with Eun-Wol. She tells her that she was the one who put the curse on Shin-Yu. She thinks she and Shin-Yu can get the happiness if she ignores the past. But Eun-Wol points out that Hong-Jo is destined to meet with Shin-Yu. Hong-Jo tells Eun-Wol that she likes Shin-Yu very much. She thinks she can lift the curse since she was the one who put the curse on Shin-Yu. But Eun-Wol tells Hong-Jo that nothing will end until she dies.
Shin-Yu’s Parents Wish to See Hong-Jo
Jae-Gyeong walks into Shin-Yu’s office. He notes that he’s thinking something. He thinks something happened to him. But Shin-Yu denies it. Jae-Gyeong reveals Haum is going to take over the development of Onju Mountain. Shin-Yu wonders why Jae-Gyeong kept taking Hak-Young’s side. Jae-Gyeong claims he’s the assistant of Hak-Young.
Su-Jeong notes that Hong-Jo looks worn out. But Hong-Jo tells Su-Jeong that she’s fine. Sae-Byeol offers to hold a housewarming party. She asks Hong-Jo to invite Jae-Gyeong. Se-Heon learns that Hong-Jo cannot make time. He tells Shin-Yu to break up with the girl.
Se-Heon tells Shin-Yu that he doesn’t like Hong-Jo even if he doesn’t see her. Yoon-Joo explains to Se-Heon that the girl is very busy. Shin-Yu promises to take Hong-Jo to see his parents. Yoon-Joo thinks Hong-Jo is hungry. She goes to prepare food for Hong-Jo.
Se-Heon thinks there’s a problem between Shin-Yu and Hong-Jo. Shin-Yu tells his father that the problem is related to work. He promises not to let Haum take over Onju Mountain. But Se-Heon tells Shin-Yu to worry about his love relationship.
Hong-Jo Stays Apart with Shin-Yu
Se-Heon reminds Shin-Yu that he can only decide it until he sees Hong-Jo. Shin-Yu visits Hong-Jo. He shows the food his mother cooked for her. He thinks his mother is like her who’s a bad cooker. He asks her to accept the food. Because his hand is hurt.
But Hong-Jo tells Shin-Yu that she doesn’t want to joke around with him. She thinks their relationship is ill-fated. But he points out that she missed him because she came out to see him. She takes out the necklace. She tells him that she came to return the necklace to him.
Hong-Jo rejects it when Shin-Yu asks her to keep the necklace. He thinks Eun-Wol told her that he will die if she gets together with him. He tells her that he doesn’t care for it. But she tells him that she doesn’t want to watch him die.
Hong-Jo tells Shin-Yu to stay apart with her. She thinks he will feel better if they do so. He wonders if she will get together with him if they stay apart. But she doesn’t give the answer to him. She thinks he’s going to die because of her. She lets him accept the necklace. He returns to her house.
Na-Yeon Still Loves Shin-Yu
Hong-Jo sorts out the flowers with the old lady. The old lady thinks Hong-Jo is on a diet. Hong-Jo wonders if she looks pretty. It makes the old lady laugh. Shin-Yu passes by. He has an eye contact with Hong-Jo. He leaves. Na-Yeon walks into Shin-Yu’s office. She asks him if he received her present.
Shin-Yu admits it. He tells Na-Yeon that his father didn’t want to see her after she did it. She notes that he’s not happy. She wonders how will he protect his lover. He reminds her that he won’t forgive her if she dares to hurt Hong-Jo. But she tells him that she will accept him if he breaks up with Hong-Jo.

Hong-Jo takes a photo of the flower. She thinks of Shin-Yu. She gets a call from him. He asks her to come to his office. But she rejects it because she’s working outside. He tells her that he’s sick because of the love spell. But she hangs up.
