Twinkling Watermelon: Episode 3 Recap & Review

But the teacher tells Yi-Chan that he doesn’t have any kid. Yi-Chan tells the teacher that his glory moment is right now. The teacher is furious to drive Yi-Chan out of the classroom. Yi-Chan buys a t-shirt from the clothing store. He goes to see Se-Kyung. He tells her that he has known she likes bands. He shows his t-shirt to her. He tells her that he’s in a band.
Yi Chan asks Se-Kyung to come to his concert. He reveals his school is going to have a festival. He wants to perform for her. She wonders if he has a band. He tells her that he’s going to make one. He mentions he bought a T-shirt and a guitar pick.
Yi-Chan wants to show his affection to Se-Kyung. He thinks she’s going to come to his concert. He tells her that he prepares everything for her. The students ask Se-Kyung to give Yi-Chan a answer. Se-Kyung grabs Yi-Chan’s hand. She agrees to come to his concert.
But Se-Kyung asks Yi-Chan not to show up in front of her. He agrees to it. But he asks her to be his girlfriend. She laughs to tell him that the chance is zero. She asks him to play the song “Come As You Are”. The driver worries that Yi-Chan will make it.
Se-Kyung Doesn’t Believe Yi-Chan Can Play the Song She Chose
But Se-Kyung knows Yi-Chan cannot make it. Because she has checked his fingers. She thinks he didn’t play instrument before. The driver wonders why Se-Kyung made Yi-Chan do so since she doesn’t intend to let him be her boyfriend.
Se-Kyung points out that Yi-Chan won’t bother her if he’s busy in his band. She thinks Yi-Chan will have no face to see her if he fails. But the driver thinks Yi-Chan will make it because the boys are powerful when they’re in love. She’s furious to blame him for taking Yi-Chan’s side.
Yi-Chan Needs Dong-Jin
Yi-Chan eats with Ma-Joo at the restaurant. He tells him that he’s going to make a band. Ma-Joo reminds Yi-Chan that he cannot make a band overnight. But Yi-Chan intends to take over the school band. He tells Ma-Joo that the band members agreed to it when he told them that he’s going to arrange girlfriends for them.
Yi-Chan takes Ma-Joo to the band. He tells him that he’s going to let him be the manager. Yi-Chan tells the band members that the beauties are waiting for them in her grandma’s house. It makes them excited. Hyun-Yool hands over the guitar to Yi-Chan. He tells him to show them his skills.
But Hyun-Yool finds out that Yi-Chan cannot play guitar. Yi-Chan tells the band members to support him when he sings. But Hyun-Yool grabs Yi-Chan’s collar. He tells him that they’re not his followers. Ma-Joo parts the two. He tells Yi-Chan to give up. Because he thinks they cannot make a band without a guitarist.
Hyun-Yool tries to leave with other members. But Yi-Chan stops them. He tells Hyun-Yool that he’s going to find a guitarist. But Hyun-Yool yells at Yi-Chan that they need a guitarist like Dong-Jin. Yi-Chan promises to let Dong-Jin join their band.
Eun-Gyeol Encounters His Father Yi-Chan
Bal-San tells Yi-Chan that he knows Dong-Jin. He leaks that Dong-Jin was his student. Yi-Chan asks Bal-San to call Dong-Jin. Bal-San wonders why Yi-Chan needs Dong-Jin. Ma-Joo reveals Yi-Chan is making a band. She adds that the band is lack of a guitarist.
Bal-San worries that Dong-Jin won’t be interested in the school band. Yi-Chan asks Bal-San to give Dong-Jin’s number to him. He intends to get on his knees to Dong-Jin to beg him. Bal-San pretends to call Dong-Jin’s brother. He hangs up and takes the meat before he leaves Yi-Chan’s house.
Yi-Chan posts a message. He tells Dong-Jin that he’s going to provide food and room for him if he joins his band. Dong-Jin sees Yi-Chan’s post. He accepts his offer. He holds the newspapers when he’s going to meet Yi-Chan. But he needs to go to restroom. He bumps Eun-Gyeol and the newspapers drops.
Eun-Gyeol picks up the newspaper. Yi-Chan mistakes Eun-Gyeol as Dong-Jin. Eun-Gyeol sees the name tag of Ma-Joo. He remembers Jong-Hyeong told him that Ma-Joo helped Dong-Jin be the top guitarist. He mistakes that Yi-Chan is Dong-Jin. But he finds out that the guy is his father. He asks him about his mother. But Yi-Chan runs away with Ma-Joo. Eun-Gyeol chases them.
Yi-Chan Accepts Eun-Gyeol
Yi-Chan mentions Eun-Gyeol called him father. He worries that Se-Kyung will hear it. Ma-Joo tells Yi-Chan to give up the plan. But Yi-Chan points out that they guy is Dong-Jin. Eun-Gyeol shows up. It startled the two. He tells them that he’s Dong-Jin.
But Ma-Joo doesn’t believe Eun-Gyeol. Eun-Gyeol has to tell Dong-Jin’s information to the two. Yi-Chan wonders why Eun-Gyeol called him father. Eun-Gyeol explains to Yi-Chan that he thought he was like the father of music. He tells him that he thinks he’s very handsome. Yi-Chan gives Eun-Gyeol the pass. He welcomes him to join his band.

The three are going to take the bus. Eun-Gyeol takes out his card. But he finds out that the people used the coins. He tells Yi-Chan that he lost his wallet. Yi-Chan gives the ticket to Eun-Gyeol. They get on the bus. Eun-Gyeol looks at Yi-Chan. He thinks it’s a dream that his father is a member of the school band. But Eun-Gyeol’s staring makes Yi-Chan feel uncomfortable. Yi-Chan tells Eun-Gyeol to treat him as his brother. He takes him to the school band. He introduces him as Dong-Jin to the band members.
