Crown Prince thinks Fan Xian is with literary or artistic talent and Wan Er won’t be wronged if she marries to him. But Elder Princess reveals Second Prince is seeing Fan Xian. She says that Second Prince keeps thinking about the power of inner bank.
Crown Prince asks Elder Princess why she hates Fan Xian. She says that she is for his inheritance.
Fan Xian tells Second Prince that he won’t accept the marriage and inner bank. Second Prince takes the “Red Tower” and tells Fan Xian that he wants to see how he will mess up the capital.
Fan Xian runs into Wan Er who is with the chicken leg, and they have an eye contact. He takes her to hide in the room, and asks her if she is the maid when she isn’t allowed to eat chicken leg.
Wan Er admits it and tells Fan Xian not to stare at her when she is eating. He says that he likes to see people eating chicken leg. He tells her that he is a servant, and thinks they match each other.
Wan Er points out that they come from different family, and Fan Xian tells her to move in Jing Prince palace. He tells her that he is the servant of Bao Kun, and he thinks Bao Kun is stupid so that he lost.
Wan Er asks Fan Xian if he is the servant of Bao Kun, and he says that he is righteous servant. She asks him why he vomited that day, and he says that he was beaten by Bao Kun. He tells her that she is happy to see her, and she doesn’t let him see her eating.
Wan Er asks Fan Xian if Fan Xian is at the house, and she asks him to take her to see Fan Xian. Fan Xian holds Wan Er’s hand and takes her to look at Fan Xian. The Fan Xian is Zi Jing. Wan Er thinks Fan Xian is handsome.
Fan Xian asks Wan Er if she likes Zi Jing or him, but she runs away. The maid catches Wan Er, who is eating chicken leg. She tells her to go to the poem meeting, but Wan Er rejects it. Wan Er intends to go to Fan family because the meeting ended.
Qi Nian flies over the wall, but he trips after stepping on the pot. He steals the cookies, and Fan Xian catches him. Qi Nian explains that he wants to get his daughter to taste the cookie, but Fan Xian blames Qi Nian for flying over the wall.
Qi Nian says that he would get interrogated if he took the main gate, and complains that the pots tripped him. Qi Nian gives the file to Fan Xian and asks why he needs it when Fan Xian has killed Zi Jing. Fan Xian asks Qi Nian if he wants to know it. Qi Nian denies and takes the cookies again.
Fan Xian tells Qi Nian to take the main gate and tells the guard that the cookies was given by him. Fan Xian checks the file and learns that Zi Jing’s families were killed by Bao Kun. Zi Jing shows up and thinks the file contains the whereabouts of his wife and son. But Fan Xian tells Zi Jing to calm down.
Zi Jing takes back the file after fighting with Fan Xian, and Fan Xian tells Zi Jing to consider comprehensive. Zi Jing thinks Fan Xian wants him to stand it, and Fan Xian says that he can plan it with Zi Jing. Zi Jing rejects it and thinks he isn’t close to Fan Xian. He throws the file to him, and wants to leave.
Fan Xian tells Zi Jing to wait, but Zi Jing casts daggers to him. He tells him that it isn’t his business. Ruo Ruo sees Zi Jing off, and Fan Xian tells her that Zi Jing’s families were killed by Bao Kun.
The maid and Wan Er arrive at the Fan family, and Wan Er mistakes Zi Jing as Fan Xian. She tells him that she came to talk about the marriage, but Zi Jing ignores her and leaves. The maid wonders why Fan Xian is so rude, and thinks he is with another face when he has reputation. She tells Wan Er not to marry Fan Xian.
Ruo Ruo thinks Zi Jing wants to do something on Bao Kun and he intended to do so to Fan Xian. Fan Xian knows that Zi Jing didn’t want to get him involved. He asks Ruo Ruo where he can find Bao Kun, and she reveals Bao Kun will be at the side the flow crystal river. She adds that Bao Kun likes to visit brothels.
Ruo Ruo tells Fan Xian to protect himself first because Bao Kun is the follower of Crown Prince. She tells her to get a person to inform Prince Jing.
Bi An tells Second Prince that he cleaned people up. Second Prince says that he likes street but doesn’t like people. Jing Prince tells Second Prince that Fan Xian appointed him to walk around the flow crystal river. He wonders why Fan Xian wants to visit brothel when he fell in love at first sight. Second Prince tells Jing Prince to go with Fan Xian.
Wan Er asks Ling Er to help her, and Ling Er promises to tie up Fan Xian and get him to apologize. But Wan Er asks Ling Er to look for the servant of Bao Kun for her. Ling Er wonders why Wan Er knew the servant of Bao Kun, and she promises it.
Ruo Ruo wants to get in the brothel with Fan Xian, but he tells her to go home. Fan Xian meets with Jing Prince, and Jing Prince reveals he sent his poem into the boat. Fan Xian asks who is on the boat. Jing Prince reveals her name is Li Li who is new beauty queen, and many people couldn’t see her even if they gave 1000 ounces silver.
Fan Xian wonders why Jing Prince gave his poem, and Jing Prince says that the beauty isn’t vulgar. The two get in the house, and Jing Prince introduces the beauties to Fan Xian. The girl informs people that the boat of Li Li moved, and people go to wave to Li Li.
Jing Prince tells Fan Xian that Li Li moved her boat for him and she is a virgin. Li Li shows up, and Jing Prince introduces Fan Xian to her. Li Li says that he likes the poem and Fan Xian, and asks to be trip on the lake. Jing Prince thinks Fan Xian will spend the night on the boat, but Fan Xian claims that he isn’t such person.
Fan Xian drinks with Li Li on the boat, and she asks him to be soft when she is his woman in the evening. She passes out, and he carries her to the bed. Fan Xian takes off Li Li’s clothes but he leaves. Jing Prince sees Fan Xian off, and he smiles. Li Li wakes up and tells her men that Fan Xian drugged her but didn’t touch her. The man wants to follow Fan Xian, but she thinks they shouldn’t risk their identities.
Zi Jing follows Bao Kun’s sedan chair with the sword, but Fan Xian stops him. Fan Xian thinks Bao Kun isn’t such person, and asks Zi Jing if he wants to know the truth. The sedan chair stops, and Fan Xian covers Bao Kun’s head to beat him with a bag when he gets off.
Bao Kun learns that the person beats him if Fan Xian, and Fan Xian asks why Bao Kun killed the wife and son of Zi Jing. Bao Kun denies, and Fan Xian thinks the file is fake. Fan Xian tells Zi Jing that he won’t stop him to kill Bao Kun if he was the murderer.
Fan Xian asks Zi Jing to take him to Qi Nian’s house as he thinks Qi Nian knows something. Qi Nian follows the two when they talk about how to catch him. Fan Xian spots Qi Nian, and Qi Nian learns that Zi Jing doesn’t die. Zi Jing puts the sword on Qi Nian’s neck, and asks if his families were killed by Bao Kun.
Qi Nian reveals Zi Jing’s families are safe, and Fan Xian asks about the file. Qi Nian says that he worried that Fan Xian wouldn’t forgive Zi Jing’s families after he killed him. He reveals he didn’t find the file so he faked it.
Qi Nian takes Zi Jing to the house, and Fan Xian asks Zi Jing to get in. Zi Jing knocks at the door, and his wife says that she isn’t inconvenient to open the door because it’s dark. Zi Jing says that it’s him, and his wife opens the door. She takes his hands with tears, and says that people said that he is dead.
Zi Jing tells his wife that he is back, and she hits his chest. She says that she thought he is dead while crying. He lets her lean on his chest, and hugs her. He asks her about their child, and she stops crying and lets him in.
Qi Nian gets water for Fan Xian, and Fan Xian blames him for following him. Qi Nian apologizes for misunderstanding Fan Xian, and Fan Xian asks Qi Nian why he protected the families of Zi Jing. Qi Nian says that he admires Zi Jing so that he took care of his wife and son. Fan Xian asks why the two moved in the house, and Qi Nian says that he worried that someone would take the trouble on them. Fan Xian asks Qi Nian what he will do if he wants to kill them.
