Let’s Eat 3 Korean Drama Recap: Episode 1

This is first episode of Let’s Eat 3 Korean Drama Recap, Da Young runs into Ji Woo again after 14 years because of her dog. He recalls he met her and her sister Seo Yeon first time, and decides to move next to her. Let’s Eat 3 takes us to the time when Dae Young is a freshman, and enjoys his food, first love, and friendship.

The man cooks delicious foods for his wife, and puts a piece into her mouth when she asks him what it is. Then we find out it’s just a TV show, and the man Dae Young lies in settee falling asleep. The landlady visits him, and asks when he will move out. She gets angry when he doesn’t have any plan to move out, and claims she will let the tenant move in at the end of month.

The director blames Dae Young when he searches the house information, but his achievement is terrible. Chan Soo visits Dae Young, and asks him to treat him lunch. Dae Young is confident about the restaurant he chose for his friend, but Chan Soo thinks the fish is same everywhere. Hence, Dae Yang explains to him why the fish restaurant is so special. Chan Soo thinks the foods are very good after tasting it, but he cannot accept the air bladder. Dae Young tells him that air bladder is good for male, and convinces him to eat it.

There is an accident outside when Chan Soo asks him when he started telling stories during meal times. Dae Yang remembers he had an accident before, and goes outside since Chan Soo invited him. Ji Woo goes to the hospital with the wounded person, but leaves her dog at street. The dog pushes over Dae Yang, and kisses him. Chan Soo grumbles where is the owner. A couple passes by, and the woman says the she went to the hospital with the ambulance. Ji Woo realizes that she left her dog Peanut at the street when the wounded persons are safe.

The dog takes Dae Yang to run alone the street, and runs into Ji Woo. They recognize each other, and she remembers he wore sweat suits with kimchi stain. He offers to drink at the cafe, but worries about her dog. They choose a open cafe then.

She tries to dress up herself when he goes to get drinks, and smiles when he returns. But she is depressed when seeing him wearing a ring, and knows that he is seeing someone. She tells Peanut that he didn’t recognize him when the dog keeps barking after Dae Yang left.

Da Young sees Jung Hwan’s poster, and goes back to 2004 when he is just a freshman. He meets up Byeong Sam, Jin Seok and Sung Joo at the freshmen welcome party, and lives together but the house is flooded after raining. Hence, he has to move to a new house.

Da Young enjoys coffee with his friends at the vending machine, and tells them there many girls there. But Jin Seok and Sung Joo think the girls are intimidating. But Byeong Sam is nervous when seeing those girls. Jin Seok tells Da Young there are ghosts in there after knowing his living place.

Da Young asks the landlady to paper the wall, she gives the job to her husband. But the landlord has a problem hearing stuff. They runs into Ji Woo ouside, and the landlady introduces Da Young as new tenant. She reveals Ji Woo lives alone as well.

The next day, Dae Young takes his friends arriving at his new house. The landlady asks Dae Young to leave the empty boxes to her after he moves out. He asks the landlord why he didn’t hire someone to do it when he is papering his house. The landlord asks him to repeat what he said, and it seems that his hearing is a problem. But he leaves instantly, and Da Young asks him to take a rest.

Dae Young hears a woman’s laugh, and guesses it’s Ji Woo. He runs into her outside when she is just returning. He asks her if she lives with someone else, but she denies. He hears the voice again when he lies in bed, and someone is trying to break into his house.

The next day, he asks the neighbor about it. The woman wants to sell a talisman, and says that she is a fortune teller. Dae Young tells his friends there is a ghost living in his building, they mock at him. She is scared when running into a black cat outside at the raining day, and faints when seeing Seo Yeon. Ji Woo introduces her sister Seo Yeon to him after he woke up, and asks him if he remembers what happened.

Ji Woon and Seo Yeon take clothes from rooftop, Seo Yeon blames her sister for putting her clothes in the washer. But Ji Woo tells her to do her laundry herself. When Seo Yeon shows up at the hallway, she makes Dae Young pass out.

Ji Woon asks Da Young to keep Seo Yeon a secret because he fears the landlady raises the rent, but he says she cannot keep it forever. Hence, Seo Yeon warns to tell others that he wetted his pants, but he finds out he didn’t. She says, “Truth doesn’t matter to rumors,” and laughs. He remembers her laugh, and thinks it was her last night.

Seo Yeon watched same TV show Da Young did. He asked Ji Woon if she had a roommate. She denies, but she returned home, and asked Seo Yeon to stay quiet. She warns to tell Dad about Seo Yeon got kicked out from the dorm. Seo Yeon begged Ji Woo, and cried out. But Ji Woo claimed she won’t be cheated by her fake tears, so Seo Yeon had to look for other place. She went to Da Young’s house, and tried to open his door. Ji Woo stopped her.

Jin Seok wants to hold a housewarming party for Seo Yeon, but Dae Young rejects it. Jin Seok thinks he comes to vending machine because of women, but Da Yeong claims he just comes there for coffee. He asks Ji Woo why the coffee is so delicious since she is in charge the vending machine, and promises to treat her meal.

They have a meal at the restaurant, and she doesn’t feel well because of eating too much. Hence, he massages her points on the wrist. She burps with awkward. They runs into Da Young’s friend at street, and Jin Seok invites her to get in his car. He asks Da Young to park the car at his house as his parents didn’t know he bought the car. But the landlady scolds them for parking the car at her house because it’s where her cart goes.

But Jin Seok cannot drives the car, so Da Young asks others to push it. Just then Seo Yeon shows up, and mocks at them. Jin Seok is interested in her, and thinks she is lovely. But Da Young blames his friend because he lost his focus. Seo Yeon points out that they should lift the car, and Da Young asks her to help them.

Da Young smiles when remembers what happened in 2004, but he feels lonely after returning his house. Ji Woo drops his name car while in the locker room, Yoon Ji takes it thinking she wants insurance. But Ji Woon denies, and remembers he massages her wrist. Yoon Ji thinks she went on a blind date, Ji Woon reveals she met her first love again. Yoon Ji thrills to call Dae Young for her, and thinks Ji Woo is sneaky to add his number.

But Ji Woon’s smile is frozen when he asks about her sister on the phone, and hangs up. The next day, she is waken by her dog, and finds out he becomes her neighbor again.
