Dongfang Qingcang runs into Jie Li and Shang Que. He tells them that Orchid is missing. He wants to make the people on the street disappear. Shang Que stops Dongfang Qingcang. He reminds him that they need to find Chidi Woman. He thinks Orchid can deal with the people in the city even if her magical power is weak. He promises to find the fairy.
Dongfang Qingcang tells Shang Que that he will bury him and Jie Li if Orchid is hurt. Orchid runs on the street. She thinks Chang Heng and Chidi Woman are going to take trial at flying fairy pavilion. She decides to stop Dongfang Qingcang.

Dongfang Qingcang shows up on the rooftop. He sees Xie Wanqing. He’s confused. Die Yi reports to Rong Hao that Dongfang Qingcang appeared in Luo City. She worries that Dongfang Qingcang will ruin Chidi Woman’s trial. But Rong Hao thinks Dongfang Qingcang won’t take action before Chidi Woman completes her trial because what he wants to get is the soul of her.
Dongfang Qingcang stares at Xie Wanqing. He wonders why Mr. Xiao doesn’t show up since Xie Wanqing intends to take her life at moon night. Xiao Run is chased by some guys on the street. Orchid arrives at Flying Fairy Pavilion. Xie Wanqing tries to drink the poisoned wine.
The guys try to beat Xiao Run because he refused to give his jade to them. Orchid stops those guys. She stuns them with her magic when they intend to beat her. Dongfang Qingcang stops Xie Wanqing before she drinks the poisoned wine.
Xie Wanqing thinks the man she waited was Dongfang Qingcang. He denies it and thinks she’s drunk. She agrees to what he said. She thinks she should wake up from her dream. She tries to drink the poisoned wine. He stops her and tells her that she cannot die.
Dongfang Qingcang takes away the wine from Xie Wanqing. He throws it away. She touches the scar on her neck. She thinks she saw him before. She asks him who he is. He stuns her and lets her lie on the floor. He wonders where Mr. Xiao went.
Dongfang Qingcang looks around. He sees Orchid. She joins Xiao Run and asks him if he’s fine. He thinks he saw her before. She denies it. She’s startled to cover her face when he stares at her. She tells him that he mistook her as someone else. She runs away. He chases her. Orchid sees Xiao Run looking for her on the street. She wonders why he doesn’t go to see Xie Wanqing.
Love Between Fairy and Devil: Episode 21 Ending
Episode 21 of Love Between Fairy and Devil ends with Xiao Run telling Dongfang Qingcang that he treats him as his friend. Dongfang Qingcang remembers Orchid told him to smile if he doesn’t know how to treat his friend. She mentioned she taught him when he made up with Xun Feng.
