This is the Recap & Ending for Love Between Fairy and Devil: Episode 3. Die Yi tries to leave after she saw Orchid’s falling. The moon shows up. The guards try to flee. But they’re burned to death. Dongfang Qingcang draws Orchid to him. He lets her stay in his hand.
Who Saves Orchid’s Life?
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for Love Between Fairy and Devil: Episode 3.
Die Yi asks Dongfang Qingcang who he is. Dongfang Qingcang refuses to leak his name because she’s going to die. She leads the killers to attack him. The flame behind Dongfang Qingcang burns the killers to death. Die Yi tries her best to survive. He ruins the soul tripod with just one hit. The evil spirit comes out from the soul tripod.
Dongfang Qingcang puts Orchid on the snow. She looks around and finds out that the killers are missing. He touches her face and takes a look at her. He finds out that she was hurt. She thanks him for caring for her. But she tells him that men and women shouldn’t be close.

Dongfang Qingcang grabs Orchid’s arm. She cries to ask him if he’s going to take her life. He admits that he intended to do that. He tells her that he will kill the person who touches her. He tells her that she belongs to him. He asks her not to leave him without his permission.
Orchid thinks Dongfang Qingcang has feeling for her. She tells him that she accepted his kindness. She wishes him to go to look for other women. She tries to leave. He stops her and asks her to unlock the spell. She sees the spell on his forehead. She recognizes Xilan Mountain Seal.
Dongfang Qingcang thinks Orchid knows the spell. She denies it. She leaks that she only saw the spell from the book. She thinks he found wrong person. She tells him that she would pass the fairy exam if she can use the spell. He takes a look at her inside. He finds out that her soul is decaying. She’s furious to blame him for peeking into her secret. She runs away and leaves the medicine bottle. He picks up the medicine bottle.
Die Yi fights with the people who were affected by evil spirits. Lord Haishi shows up. He absorbs the evil spirits. He fixes the soul tripod, putting the evil spirits back. The people wake up. They forget what they did. Die Yi gets on knees to Lord Haishi. She thinks she will be killed because she let Orchid take the destiny book away.
Lord Haishi thinks Die Yi doesn’t have the right to die if she doesn’t take back the destiny book. She wears to take back the destiny book. He asks her if she knows who was the mystery man. She tells him that she doesn’t know the guy’s background because he had unfathomable magical power.
Lord Haishi is close to Die Yi. He tells her that he doesn’t have time to listen to her talk nonsense. She tells her that the one who stole the destiny book came form Water Cloud Heaven. Dongfang Qingcang walks Shang Que. He’s surprised that Xilan Seal is so powerful.
Shang Que thinks Dongfang Qingcang shouldn’t deal with Orchid if she’s actually the girl of Xilan Clan. He tells him that Xilan Clan sealed evil gods. But Dongfang Qingcang doesn’t want to give his life to the flower elf. Shang Que agrees to what Dongfang Qingcang said. He gets on knees to him because he thinks he said something wrong. But he finds out that Dongfang Qingcang is crying.
Orchid cries after she lost the medicine. She worries that she cannot pass the fairy exam without the medicine. She blames the guilty immortal. She remembers she promised Chang Heng that she will join his palace. She decides to go to Ocean City.
Orchid runs out of her house. She sees Dongfang Qingcang. She asks him why he found the place. He tells her that he will find her no matter where she hides. He adds that he wants to protect her. She tells him that he will bring trouble to her if the guards see him.
Orchid tells Dongfang Qingcang that the best way to protect her is to stay away from her. He tells her that he will leave if she unlocks the spell. She tells him that she’s just an ordinary when she tries to push him. He tells her that he won’t be polite if she continues to pretend to be silly.
How Does Dongfang Qingcang Find Chidi Woman’s Destiny Book?
Dongfang Qingcang walks through Orchid. He gets into her house. She stops him and claims that she hasn’t been scared since childhood. She tells him that the immortal guards won’t forgive him if he hurts her. He tells her that he doesn’t fear anything. He mentions what he said that he won’t kill her.
Orchid thinks Dongfang Qingcang fears her. She tells him to return to Haotian Tower. But he drags her and hugs her. He tells her that he has a way to deal with her. She pushes him away. The destiny book drops. He picks up the book. She tells him not to take a look at the book when she tries to take the book back.
Dongfang Qingcang makes Orchid disappear. He takes a look at the destiny book. He finds out that the book belongs to Chidi Woman. He thinks he can save the bodyguards of Moon Clan with the destiny book. Orchid shows up. She fights with him for the destiny book. She tells him that she does it for him. But she ruins the book.
Chang Heng opens the box. There’s an orchid inside the box. Qing Chuan thinks something happened to Chang Heng. He wants to help him. Chang Heng denies it. He remembers Orchid showed up behind him when he was injured. He attacked him and she avoided it. He collapsed. She asked him if he’s fine.
The immortal guard reports to Chang Heng that he didn’t find any guilty immortal after he searched Water Cloud Heaven. Chang Heng asks the immortal guard if he searched Siming Palace. The immortal guard denies it. He explains that there’s any immortal living in Siming Palace.
Chang Heng scolds the immortal guard. The immortal guard intends to go to search Siming Palace. Cheng Heng rejects it because he wants to go to Siming Palace on his own. Dongfang Qingcang lets Orchid float in the air. He tells her that he looked down on her before.
Orchid doesn’t understand what Dongfang Qingcang said. She asks him to release her. He lets her fall to the floor. He asks her if she wants to continue to pretend to be silly. He tells her that he didn’t expect that Chidi Woman is taking trial in human world.
Dongfang Qingcang asks Orchid where she got the talent. She explains that she picked the book from Ocean City. She adds that she doesn’t know who Shidi Woman is. She tells him that all of the destiny books should be put in Siming Palace.
Dongfang Qingcang lets Orchid float again. He asks her where Si Ming is. She tells him that her master went on a trip. He thinks she can fix destiny book since she’s Si Ming’s disciple. Chang Heng walks into Siming Palace. He runs into Creeper.
Chang Heng asks Creeper if Siming Palace got attacked. She tells him that nobody burned flower house. He asks her about Orchid. She leaks that Orchid is studying for the exam. She tells him to look for Orchid. But he rejects it. She returns to flower house, asking Dongfang Qingcang to release Orchid.
Orchid cries to tell Dongfang Qingcang that she’s very sad. He wipes off his tears. He tells her that he knows it. He takes out the medicine, asking her if she wants to get it. He tells her that he will give it to her if she fixes the destiny book.
Orchid tries to fix the destiny book. But she fails. Dongfang Qingcang grabs her arm. He asks her if she cannot fix the book since she’s Si Ming’s disciple. She complains that she’s tired. She promises to fix it tomorrow. He agrees to it. He asks her where he should sleep.
Dongfang Qingcang tells Orchid that she should stay with him. She tells him to think about her reputation. She takes him to Si Ming’s room. But he thinks it’s too small. She tells him not to walk around. She reminds him that they will be over if others find out that he hides there.
Love Between Fairy and Devil: Episode 3 Ending
Episode 3 of Love Between Fairy and Devil ends with Dongfang Qingcang telling Orchid that nobody dares to hurt her when he’s there. She thinks he talked big. She tries to leave. But he stops her. He tells her that she needs to sleep with him. She tells him to follow the rules of Water Cloud Heaven. She leaks that she has feelings for someone. He reminds her that she belongs to him. She closes the door.
Orchid returns to her room. She finds out that Dongfang Qingcang is sleeping in her bed. She asks him why he’s there. He mentions what he said that he doesn’t allow her to leave him. She tells him to go back. But he doesn’t move.
Orchid decides to leave. But Dongfang Qingcang blocks her way. She yells at him that she hates him. He reminds her that he can only protect her when she stays with him. She tells him that he’s the most dangerous man. She hits her head. He feels painful. He tells her not to hit herself. She thinks he cares for her. She tells him to go to his room to sleep.
Dongfang Qingcang agrees to it. He tells Orchid that he will come back tomorrow. She closes the door after he left. She takes off her shoes. She lies in the bed and falls asleep. She has a dream that the immortal guard arrests her and takes her to see Chang Heng. She finds out that Dongfang Qingcang got arrested as well.
