Bill wakes up in the room in Not Suitable for Work episode 6. He finds out that he’s hugging the beauty AJ Pascarelli. He asks her where they are. She says that it’s her home. He’s shocked. He didn’t plan to sleep over. She apologizes to him. She explains it to him that he fell asleep after they had a kiss for two seconds. She didn’t want to wake him up.

Bill doesn’t believe that he slept six hours. He mentions he didn’t do it when he had his ACL surgery. AJ Pascarelli reminds him that Davis lives across the hall. So he should leave fast. He walks out of the apartment. He runs into Josh. Josh greets Bill. He thinks he’s an early bird. They get in the elevator. He asks him how he knows Abby. Bill says that he doesn’t know.
In the evening, Josh returns home. He gets a call from Elena. She tells him that she left her glasses at his house. She asks him to look for it. Davis thinks Josh is a whipped. Because he does thing for his woman. Josh expresses that he likes Elena. He wants to spend election with her. He asks Davis about him and AJ. Davis wants to focus on himself. He visited AJ’s hometown on google map. He doesn’t understand why he did it.
Josh and Davis are playing the video game. Kel shows up. He suggests that they should speak more quietly. Because he needs to memorize his lines for his acting class. He tries to go to turn off the TV. Josh stops Kel. He says that they will put on headphones. But they yell after the roommate returned to his room. Kel is furious to come back. He tries to carry the TV into his room. Josh stops Kei. He promises him that they will be done in three hours.
Abby video chats with Anupam at home. He portrays her as an outstanding woman. She praises him. But he points out that he just reads back the words she wrote for herself. He asks her to resend the photos she wants to include. He only received two. She says that there’re only two photos. He wants to change “Celebrity Stylist” to “Aspiring Celebrity Stylist”. She agrees. She asks him to make it look good and send it to her.
AJ shows up. Abby guesses AJ was with Bill again. She mentions it’s four night this week. AJ says that it’s five. Abby thought AJ wouldn’t date a colleague. AJ explains it to her friend that she realized that Bill might be her person. Abby is surprised that AJ talks about the guy in such a way. She wants to know about their date. She asks her if they went to a fancy restaurant. Are there leftovers? She loves free food. AJ says that they don’t go out to dinner. They just drink at his house.
Abby guesses it’s a casual hookup. AJ denies it. She says that they’re dating. Abby is very happy that Bill is the one AJ likes. But they should go out if they’re dating. But AJ claims that it’s their business.
The next day at Josh’s house, Kel blames Josh for making him not sleep all night. He was tired. He slept in the acting class. But Josh thinks it’s not a big deal. Kel reveals his scene partner was Madea. She said that she killed their kids. He finds out that someone ate his food. Davis confesses it to Kep that he tasted it. But Kel’s five meals disappear. Davis claims that he only ate one. He accidentally left the rest out. They all went bad.
Kel tells Davis that it’s the lunches that he’s going to take to the school. He suggests that Josh and David shouldn’t play video games. Josh explains it to Kel that their jobs are super stressful. They need to do something on Fridays. Kel refuses to accept the excuse. He claims that his life is stressful as well. But Josh thinks it’s different. He mentions he works at the most prestigious news program in the nation. Journalism is dying. But he still fights on the front line of truth.
Kel learns that Josh and Davis’s stuff is more important than him. He’s stupid. Josh mentions Kel is a substitute teacher who does weekend acting camp. Kel tells Josh that it’s not acting camp. It’s scene study. He mentions Davis and Josh wouldn’t do it to him when he was a med student. Josh tells Kel that they thought he would be a doctor. It’s a noble job. Kel realizes that the 14 years old girls were right. The two men only mansplain and gaslight him into thinking that he has no value.
Kel was self-deception. So he didn’t see the two’s intention. He tells Davis and Josh that they don’t respect him. He wants to move out.
Abby walks into the bar. Austin is kissing a girl. He introduces the girl Stella to Abby. Stella walks away for the chocolate. Austin feels sorry for letting Abby see it. He worries that she will dislike him. He reveals he got a big case. He wants her to style him. The brand is ketamine, the drug. It’s an anti-ketamine PSA for the Ad Council. She wants to do it. She gives him a hug. He plans to let Stella leave. But she thinks it’s not a good idea. Stella comes back.
Abby returns home. She asks AJ to choose a suit which makes her want to do ketamine. AJ isn’t sure. Because she doesn’t like drug. Kel visits Abby. She mistakes that he locked himself out. She tries to close the door. He stops her. He explains it to her that he had a fight with David and Josh. He wants to live with her. She doesn’t understand why he wants to do that. She knows his family lives in the city. He explains it to her that those guys don’t speak to him. He realizes that everyone doesn’t like him.
He tells her that he’s normal. AJ thinks Kel is very poor. He hears her words. He comforts her that they won’t notice him. Because he got to bed early. He will pitch in for rent. Abby agrees. She asks Kel to sleep on the couch. She allows him to use the kitchen sink.
The next day at Josh’s house, Josh find out that nobody washes the dishes after Kel left. David isn’t happy after he heard that Kel is living with the girls. He worries about the rent. He has a fight with Josh.
At Abby’s house, Kel gets the coffee from AJ. He brings that that the room is so clean. She reveals they have two vacuums. Abby visits the clothing store for Austin’s clothes. She runs into Nicky Campbell. She tells her that she likes her fashion critiques. He learns that Austin became a fashion guy because of her. He invites her to join the group.
Josh arrives at the company. He forgets to take Elena’s glasses. He explains it to her that he did it because Kel threw a fit. She says that it’s fine. She can continue to wear the sunglasses. Davis works in the office. The boss brings up Davis’s small and sad mustache. Davis claims that he did it because his roommate took his razor. But the girl isn’t interested in Davis’s personal life.
AJ receives a message from Bill. He asks for a meeting up tonight. She agrees. But Davis asks AJ about Kel. She says that Kel is good. He mad them muffins. Davis asks AJ not to get used to it. He tells her that Kel will leave them if she does nothing. Abby is kicked out of the clothing store. Because she wasn’t loyal.
AJ sleeps with Bill at his house. She goes to call a cab for her. At Abby’s house, Kel helps Abby to wash the plates. She thinks he’s a good man. She asks him if he has a girlfriend. He denies it. She wants to introduce a girl Liza to him. The girl is crazy. But guys think it’s worth it. He thanks her. But he wants to find a girlfriend on his own.
AJ comes home. Abby tells AJ that the leftovers in the fridge. She returns to her room. AJ asks Kel what happened. She minds Abby’s tone. The tone was judgment. She doesn’t want Abby to judge her and her relationship. He reveals Abby mentioned he was seeing someone. AJ says that Abby always assumes the worst. He tells her that friends should support each other.
Kel is going to wash his teeth in the bathroom. Abby breaks into the bathroom. She mentions AJ came home late again. The guy didn’t let her stay overnight. She thinks he’s using AJ. She knows AJ is annoyed with her. But she wants to help the girl make the right decision.
At the network, Josh notices that the people are eating donuts. The colleague tells Josh that they’re for Elena’s last day. Josh breaks into the room. He asks Elena if she’s going to leave the show. She admits it. She reveals she got promoted. She’s the network’s new Associate Manager of Content and Acquisitions. He knows it’s a corporate job. He asks her why she did it. She says that she realized there’s no room for growth for her there. So she asked his father to do the job for her.
He’s shocked after knowing she used his father. She points out that he used his father as well. He supports her decision. But he wishes she didn’t conceal it from him. She claims that she tried to tell it to him. But he only talked about himself. He complains it to her that his roommates kept bring trouble to him. This time, Davis lost his shoehorn. Josh wants to buy Elena a dinner to celebrate. But she rejects it. She tells him that it was fun when she was with him. But her new role is a little more managerial. She thinks it’s not a good idea to date a PA.
In the acting classroom, Kel sees the messages Abby and AJ sent. He learns that the two girls are having a fight after he asked his students about it. At the company, Bill texts AJ. He asks her to come to his house tonight. But she ignores his message.
He finds her at the stall when she’s buying the snack. He brings up that she ignored his message. She tells him that she wants a date. She threatens him that she will end the relationship if he refuses to do that.
At Josh’s house, Josh complains it to Davis that Elena implied he’s self-centered. Davis throws the trash out of the window. It hits the landlord. The landlord scolds Davis and Josh. At Abby’s house, Kel shows his acting skill. Abby thinks it’s good. AJ returns home. She’s told that Abby just badmouthed her. She asks Kel to choose one from her and Abby. But he tells the two girls that they’re bad. It promotes them to want to kick him out of their house.
Davis and Josh show up. They apologize to Kel. Kel accepts the two’s apology. He complains it to Abby and AJ that their bathroom is terrible. He leaves the place. AJ tells Abby that Bill agreed to date her. Abby wants to style AJ. Because she needs money.
At Josh’s house, Kel brings the popcorn to Josh and Davis. He tells the two that nothing happened to him and Abby. Because she wasn’t interested in him. Davis welcomes Kel after Kel came up. But Kel asks them to respect his job. They agree. Kel sends a message to Kate. He asks for a date.
In the evening, Bill dates AJ on the ferry. He takes out a sandwich. He tells her that it’s their dinner. He reveals he was poor. She worries that he will date other girls. But he tells her that he’s not interested in other girls. Because he has her. He kisses her. Josh is washing plates at home. He sees Bill’s photo on the cup.
