This is the Recap & Ending for K-Drama One Ordinary Day: Episode 4. Hyun-Soo is locked into the cell. Du-Sik yells at Hyun-Soo that he will kill him when he’s taken away. Tae-Hee meets with Sang-Beom. She tells him that she wants to test Hyun-Soo with the polygraph.

Prison Officer opens the door of the cell. He tells Hyun-Soo that he needs to go to see Tae-Hee. Hyun-Soo walks out of the prison. Sang-Beom is waiting for him. He puts on handcuffs for him. He sees the wound on his neck. Tae-Hee takes a look at the death photos of Gook-Hwa. She tells Hyun-Soo that he will be sentenced life imprisonment even if he claims he doesn’t remember anything.

Tae-Hee tells Hyun-Soo that the only thing can help him is the polygraph. Hyun-Soo agrees to do the test after Sang-Beom told him to consider it for his families. Sang-Beom calls Joong-Han and tells him that Hyun-Soo agreed to take the polygraph test. But he’s told that Joong-Han isn’t Hyun-Soo lawyer.

Joong-Han asks Sang-Beom why he took Hyun-Soo to the Prosecutors’ Office without his lawyer’s accompanying. Sang-Beom hangs up. Soo-Jin runs into the office when Mi-Kyeong is having meeting. She tells her that something bad happened.

Mi-Kyeong walks out of the office. She takes over the phone from Soo-Jin. Mi-Kyeong is told that Hyun-Soo will take the polygraph test. She blames Tae-Hee for talking with Hyun-Soo without her accompanying. Tae-Hee claims that she doesn’t know Mi-Kyeong is Hyun-Soo’s lawyer. She hangs up since she has informed it to her.

Mi-Kyeong hands over the phone to Soo-Jin. She tells her to go to see Hyun-Soo, telling him that she won’t help him if he makes the mistake again. She returns to her office. Joong-Han keeps calling Jung-A when she’s working. He tells her that he misses her when he arrives at her office. She picks him up and feels embarrassed when he’s close to her unexpectedly.

Sang-Beom takes Hyun-Soo to see Gook-Hwa’s body. Hyun-Soo cries when he remembers he kissed Gook-Hwa. Sang-Beom explains to Hyun-Soo how the girl was autopsy. He pokes her wound in front of him. It makes Hyun-Soo get asthma attack. He takes out the treatment and tries to treat himself.

But Sang-Beom takes away the treatment. He tells Hyun-Soo that he cannot use the treatment because he’s going to get polygraph test. Soo-Jin shows up. She introduces herself as Mi-Kyeong’s assistant to Hyun-Soo. Jung-A lets Joong-Han walk in the polygraph test. He tells her someone is going to get the test.

Hyun-Soo shows up. Joong-Han tells Hyun-Soo not to get the polygraph test. But Hyun-Soo wants to prove his innocence. Sang-Beom pushes Joong-Han aside because he and Hyun-Soo need to get into the room. Joong-Han reminds Hyun-Soo that the judge won’t accept the test as evidence. But the door is closed from inside.

Jung-A is surprised that Joong-Han became a warm person. She walks away. Soo-Jin calms Hyun-Soo down that the questions are simple. Sang-Beom places the asthma treatment in front of Hyun-Soo. It makes his nervous. It’s Tae-Hee’s plan.

Soo-Jin notes that Hyun-Soo is painful when he’s asked if he killed Gook-Hwa. She leaves the room and tries to call Mi-Kyeong. But Mi-Kyeong doesn’t pick up her phone. Joong-Han walks into the room. He sees the asthma treatment and notes that Hyun-Soo doesn’t feel comfortable. He tells Soo-Jin that she can end the test as Hyun-Soo’s lawyer.

Soo-Jin tells Hyun-Soo that she can end the test for him if he wants to end it. He says that he refused to take the test. He takes the asthma treatment and enjoys it. Joong-Han laughs to walk away after Sang-Beom’s plan failed. Hyun-Soo leaves the room. He bows to Joong-Han.

Hyun-Soo is taken away by Sang-Beom. Soo-Jin runs to follow Joong-Han. Du-Sik presses Hyun-Soo’s head to the mirror in the restroom. He blames him for making him get the punishment. Sang-Soo shows up and stops Du-Sik. Du-Sik pushes Hyun-Soo over. He walks away.

The prison officer takes Hyun-Soo to see Ji-Tae. Ji-Tae gives a book to Hyun-Soo. Joong-Han shows up at Gook-Hwa’s funeral. He recognizes the girl Hyo-Jeong who attends the funeral according to the photos. Hyun-Soo cannot sleep. He reads the book which was given by Ji-Tae.

Hyun-Soo is going to go to the court. The prison officer hands over the glasses to Hyun-Soo. Hyun-Soo realizes that it was given by Ji-Tae after seeing him. He wears the glasses and gets on the bus. Joong-Han visits Chan-Yul and asks him for seeing his leg. But Chan-Yul rejects it because he’s not a dermatologist.

Joong-Han points out that Chan-Yul gave fentanyl to Gook-Hwa. He hands over his business card to him. Mi-Kyeong arrives at the court. The reporters asks her if Hyun-Soo killed Gook-Hwa when it’s raining. She tells the reporters that she will help Hyun-Soo. She leaves with Hyun-Soo’s parents.

One Ordinary Day: Episode 4 Ending

Mi-Kyeong puts her business card on the table. She tells Tae-Hee to go to see her when she doesn’t have a job. Mi-Kyeong tries to leave. Tae-Hee stops Mi-Kyeong and tells her that she agrees to ten years of imprisonment. But she needs Hyun-Soo to confess at the court. She tries to tear up Mi-Kyeong’s business. But she fails.

Mi-Kyeong meets with Hyun-Soo. She tells him that the punishment is the best plan to him. Soo-Jin reports to Joong-Han that Hyun-Soo is going to confess at the court. But he doesn’t believe Hyun-Soo will do that. Sang-Beom is furious to leave Tae-Hee after knowing Hyun-Soo will only get a light punishment. Because he believes Hyun-Soo is the killer. But Tae-Hee wants to end the case in such a way.

Hyun-Soo tells Mi-Kyeong that he agrees to her plan after Sang-Soo persuaded him. Mi-Kyeong leaves the prison. Joong-Han has a talk with Hyun-Soo in Soo-Jin’s help. He asks him if he actually kills Gook-Hwa. Hyun-Soo cries to tell the judge that he didn’t kill Gook-Hwa.
