Ji Man tells Ning Yuxuan that the door of the kitchen was locked from outside. She was surprised that someone hated her so much. She swears not to forgive the person if she catches him. She realizes the key. She runs out of his house.
Wen Wan sees Ji Man off. She walks into Ning Yuxuan’s room. Ji Man returns to the kitchen. She finds the hairpin in the lock. She smells the hairpin. Ning Yuxuan wakes up. Gui Bai reports to Ning Yuxuan that he saw Nie Sangyu going to the kitchen. He leaks that the madam looked for something. Ning Yuxuan tells Gui Bai to gather all of the people.

Mu Xu tells Ji Man that everything thought she set a fire to kill Wen Wan. Ji Man thinks nobody will believe it. Mu Xu tells Ji Man that she doesn’t believe it. But she tells her to explain it to the people. Ji Man runs into Wen Wan. Wen Wan walks in her maid’s help.
Ji Man asks Wen Wan what happened. Mu Xu reminds Ji Man that she stabbed Wen Wan. Ji Man tries to be close to Wen Wan. Wen Wan is scared to step back. Ji Man asks Wen Wan about her injury. Wen Wan tells Ji Man that she’s fine. She thinks her injury wasn’t related to her.
Wen Wan explains to Ji Man that Ning Yuxuan dresses her. She tells her to return the dress to Ning Yuxuan’s room after Ji Man left. Ji Man walks into the hall. The maids greet her. Ji Man sees Ning Yuxuan. She runs to him and asks him if he’s fine. She tells him that she saved him when he passed out.
Ning Yuxuan mentions he told Ji Man to reflect in Reflection Pavilion. He asks her why she went out last night. He tells her to give him an explanation about the kitchen’s fire case. She tells him that the fire wasn’t set by her. He asks her why she appeared in the kitchen last night.
Ji Man claims that she looked for food because she’s hungry. But she doesn’t have any evidence. She mentions she was in the kitchen when someone set a fire outside. She thinks there was a person helping her outside. She wonders who’s the person.
Mu Xu tells the people that she had slept in Reflection Pavilion last night. Ning Yuxuan asks Butler Liu about the fire. Butler Liu tells Ning Yuxuan that the top maids weren’t managed by her. Qian Lianxue remembers the top maids are Mu Xu, Ban Xia and Tan Xiang.
Tan Xiang and Ban Xia get on knees to Ning Yuxuan. They tell him that they were wronged. Ji Man tells the two top maids to get up. But they’re scared to step back. Ji Man tells the people that the person who set the fire made a mistake. She shows the hairpin and the lock to the people. She tells them that the person locked the door with the hairpin.
Ji Man thinks someone wanted to kill her with the hairpin. Qian Lianxue wonders how did Ji Man know the hairpin is the murder weapon. Ji Man reveals she found the hairpin from the kitchen. Gui Bai proves what she said. Wen Wan wonders how they know the owner of the hairpin.
Ji Man reveals she walked around all of the people. She thinks the smell the person left is similar to the smell of the hairpin. She thinks the person is in front of her. Qian Lianxue doesn’t believe that Ban Xia would set a fire because she’s honest.
Ji Man asks Butler Liu about the rule she made. He reveals the person will be killed by fire if she set a fire. Ban Xia confesses to Ji Man that the person who set a fire was her. She tells her that her master Qian Lianxue knew nothing about it. She cries.
Ning Yuxuan asks Ban Xia why she set a fire. Ban Xia tells Ning Yuxuan that she just wanted to set a fire to startle Ji Man. Qian Lianxue asks Ban Xia why she wanted to hurt Ji Man. Ban Xia shows the scar on her shoulder to Ji Man. She tells her that her perfect body was ruined by her.
Qian Lianxue asks Ban Xia why she didn’t tell it to her. Ban Xia tells Qian Lianxue that she worried that she would get her involved. She mentions the maid Nie Sangyu punished cannot go to see a doctor. She cries in Qian Lianxue’s arms.
Qian Lianxue gets on knees to Ji Man. She asks her to forgive Ban Xia. Ji Man apologizes to Ban Xia for hurting her. Ning Yuxuan tells the people to leave since Nie Sangyu forgave Ban Xia. Ji Man thinks Ban Xia’s scar can only be cured by the ointment. She goes to buy the ingredients of the ointment.
Ning Yuxuan walks Gui Bai. He asks him about Nie Sangyu’s performance. Gui Bai thinks Nie Sangyu was very smart. Ning Yuxuan thinks Nie Sangyu was changed. He adds that the previous Nie Sangyu didn’t have the talent. Gui Bai intends to go to temple to check if there was a ghost hurting the madam.
But Ning Yuxuan doesn’t believe the tales of ghosts. He tells Gui Bai to go to temple. Wen Wan shows up. She wants to change clothes for Ning Yuxuan. He rejects it and reminds her that they’re not the real couple. Ji Man takes a look at the silver in the box. She asks Mu Xu if it’s all of her money.
Mu Xu admits it. She thinks they afford the ointment. Ji Man asks Mu Xu about her wedding gifts. Mu Xu reveals Master Nie was angry when Ji Man insisted on marrying Ning Yuxuan. She adds that there’s no wedding gift. Ji Man realizes that she married Ning Yuxuan without asking him for anything.
Mu Xu hands over the box to Ji Man. She tells her that she cherished the box very much. Ji Man finds out that the box is very heavy when she holds it. She thinks she wasn’t silly to not keep any personal money. She breaks the lock and opens the box. She sees Ning Yuxuan’s paintings.
Mu Xu thinks Ji Man loved Ning Yuxuan very much when Ji Man is looking for her silver from the box. She tells her that she knows nothing about her money. The maid reports to Ji Man that Qian Lianxue invited her to attend the banquet.
Ji Man goes to the restaurant to see Qian Lianxue. Qian Lianxue apologizes to Ji Man for what Ban Xia did. Ji Man tells Qian Lianxue to have a seat. She tells her that she’s very happy because she had the intention. But she finds out that the dishes are vegetables.
Qian Lianxue explains to Ji Man that she’s a vegetarian. Ji Man agrees to what Qian Lianxue said. She tells her to prepare the meat. She sees Ning Yuxuan. Qian Lianxue reminds Ji Man that Ning Yuxuan works at the place. Ling Jianxing greets Ning Yuxuan. He tells him that he likes to watch the dramas he wrote.
Qian Lianxue tells Ji Man that there’re many girls liking Ning Yuxuan. She leaks that the girls gather at the restaurant for taking a look at Ning Yuxuan. She adds that Ji Man was the first one who watched Ning Yuxuan at the restaurant.
Qian Lianxue tells Ji Man that she kept following Ning Yuxuan. Ji Man doesn’t believe it. She thinks she wouldn’t do that. It makes Qian Lianxue believe that Ji Man lost her memories. Ji Man hangs Ning Yuxuan’s paintings on the rope. She tells Mu Xu that it’s her way to earn money.
Ji Man mentions women spend money on the things they like. She tells Mu Xu that she wants to sell Ning Yuxuan’s paintings. Mu Xu thinks Ji Man shouldn’t do it because she loves Ning Yuxuan very much. Ji Man mentions Ning Xuxuan wants to kick her out. She tells Mu Xu to invite Qian Lianxue to go to Star Restaurant.
Ji Man takes a look at Ning Yuxuan’s painting. She thinks she was very smart to come up with the idea to earn money. She thinks he’s very handsome. But she regrets that he’s a beast. She throws away the painting. Ji Man walks out of Ning House with Qian Lianxue.
Yuan Lang spots Ji Man. He follows her. Ji Man breaks into the room when the girls talk about Ning Yuxuan’s novel. The girls are scared to step back after they recognized Ji Man. They worry that Ji Man came to kill them. Ji Man mentions the girls gathered to watch her husband.
Ji Man tells the girls that she came to heal their lovesick. She tells them what they did moved the heaven. Mu Xu shows the paintings of Ning Yuxuan to the girls. Ji Man sells Ning Yuxuan’s painting to Lady Song after Lady Song bid the highest price.
