This is the Recap & Ending for K-Drama School 2021: Episode 1. Ji-Won takes the horn to tell people that it’s unfair to fire the teacher. Ki-Joon passes her and tells her that it will rains. She ignores what he says. She notes that he takes the umbrella when it’s raining. But he walks away with the umbrella.
School 2021: Episode 1 Recap
Note: From here on out there are specific plot spoilers for K-Drama School 2021: Episode 1.
Ki-Joon actually doesn’t leave. He takes a look at Ji-Won who’s burdensome to lift the board to shelter from the rain. Ki-Joon tries to show his jump skills to Seo-Young when she watches him. But he trips when Tae-Kang shows up. Moo-Kyung leaves the office with Chae-Rin.
Chae-Rin tells Moo-Kyung to say goodbye to the students before he leaves. But Moo-Kyung wants to be a cool teacher. Han-Soo shows up. He wishes Moo-Kyung to have a good future. He reminds Chae-Rin that she needs to take part in the meeting. But she tells him that she wants to see Moo-Kyung off.
Chae-Rin tells Moo-Kyung that the students like him. But he points out that there will be another teacher who will replace him. The two walk in the rain with the umbrellas. Moo-Kyung sees Ji-Won asking people to keep him with the horn. He walks to her and holds umbrella for her.

Ji-Won sees Moo-Kyung. She cries to tell him that she will fight for him. But he reminds her that she needs to take class. He hands over the wood works to her, and tells her to let people know that he’s her teacher when she becomes famous. He hands over the umbrella to her and leaves with Chae-Rin.
The taekwondo coach doesn’t let Ki-Joon to take part in the training because of his ankle injure. Ki-Joon is lost to walk to the playground. He sits on the crane. Ji-Won spots him. Ji-Won takes a look at Ki-Joon after she returned to the classroom. The classmates praise her for supporting Moo-Kyung.
Ki-Joon leaves the school and takes the bus to visit the grave of his friend Gyeong-Min. He places the flower to the grave, telling Gyeong-Min that he doesn’t do taekwondo now. Young-Joo rides the motorcycle to arrive at the grave. He brings a flower as well. Ki-Joon leaves so that he doesn’t run into Young-Joo.
Grandpa Wants to Sell the House
Ki-Joon returns home and notes that his grandpa Young-Soo is cleaning up the house. He helps him after knowing that the house will be sold. Ki-Joon promises to buy the house back once he’s rich. But Young-Soo points out that it will take a long time.
Ji-Won walks on the road. Ki-Joon rides the bicycle through her. She sees him and smiles. The senior Jung-Min gives a speech to the students. He tells them that he’s look for some people who work for his company. Ji-Won raises her hand. Ki-Joon raises his hand as well.
Ji-Won stops Ki-Joon when he tries to leave. She thinks he intended to do that. He ignores her and walks away. The classmates spot it and think the two were in love. Ji-Won returns to the classroom. She notes that the classmates talked about them. She remembers Jung-Min rejected Ki-Joon. She feels sorry so that she takes a look at Ki-Joon.
Ji-Won is happy to walk in the street with her friends. Min-Seo joins them. The girls walk into the restaurant. Min-Seo tells Ji-Won that she doesn’t expect that Ki-Joon would apply the job. Ji-Won grabs Min-Seo’s shoulders and shakes her. She asks her if she wished Ki-Joon to replace her. Min-Seo denies. Hyo-Joo mentions the new teacher will come. But Ji-Won thinks the teacher won’t be better than Moo-Kyung.
New Teacher And New Student
Kang-Hoon is on the way to school. He wants to smoke but he doesn’t have a lighter. So he goes to look for someone who can borrow the lighter to him. He runs into Young-Joo in the alley and gets the lighter from him. He tells him that it’s his first day to work for the school when he’s dressing his wound.
Kang-Hoon tells Young-Joo to go to hospital. But Young-Joo tells Kang-Hoon that it’s not his business. Kang-Hoon agrees to what Young-Joo said. He walks away. Kang-Hoon notes that Young-Joo is tailing him. He runs to the school. Young-Joo walks to Kang-Hoon. Kang-Hoon tries to return the lighter to Young-Joo. But he sees Cheol-Min.
Cheol-Min shakes hands with Kang-Hoon. Young-Joo introduces himself as the new student to them. Ho-Sung gets Ki-Joon to welcome the girl he loves. But the one they welcome is Young-Joo. Young-Joo is furious after seeing Ki-Joon. Ki-Joon tries to keep Young-Joo. But Young-Joo walks away. The scene is seen by Ji-Won.
School 2021: Episode 1 Ending
Seo-Young asks Kang-Hoon for forming a club carpentry club since he came from the top university. But he leaves because it’s time to get off work. Ji-Won is asked if she has feelings for Ki-Joon. She denies and tells her friends that she beat Ki-Joon because he fooled her.
Ji-Won goes to the fast food restaurant. She notes that Ki-Joon isn’t good at cooking. So she helps him and shows off the cooking skills to him. He sees the wound on her elbow so that he applies the sticking plaster to her elbow likes he did when they were kids.
Ki-Joon mentions Ji-Won kissed him when he took care of her finger. She denies and thinks he’s cowardly. So he’s close to her and asks her for kissing him.
School 2021: Episode 1 Review
School 2021 lets me taste the sweet moments which I didn’t get during the school days. Ji-Won keeps telling people that she doesn’t have feelings for Ki-Joon. She even pretends not to like the boy. But the classmates in the school has known it.
Young-Joo is introduced as a gangster. The classmates hear his scary tale. He’s shaped to be a bad person who doesn’t care for anyone. But Ji-Won sees his real inside. He’s so kind to leave the doll to her after she kicked his machine.
It’s Young-Joo’s first time to get into the school. But it seems that he knew Ki-Joon early. I believe that episode 2 will disclose their past.
