This is the recap on SKY Castle Korean Drama Episode 13, Seung-Hye scolds Se-Ri after knowing she lied to her parents. But Se-Ri doesn’t admit her mistake and runs away from home. Hye-Na walks by and reports it to Joon-Sang. He laughs because Min-Hyuk gave him the hard time in the funeral hall.

Seo-Jin remembers Soo-Im said Joo-Young is dangerous. So she asks her about it. Soo-Im reveals the son of Soo-Chang’s friend took his life, and she was the last person he exchanged texts with. When he asked her to dissuade his dad from his plan to pass the hospital down to him, her answer is, “What can you do if you give up on medical school?”
Seo-Jin thinks Joo-Young said it from his parents’ point of view. But Soo-Im thinks she kept hounding him, and asks Seo-Jin what she will do if she is provoking Ye-Seo. She says that Joo-Young did a background check on her. Seo-Jin realizes she might also know about Hye-Na, but tells Soo-Im not to worry about her as she won’t turn out like Myung-Joo. She guesses Joo-Young knew Hye-Na is Joon-Sang’s daughter, that is why she suggested to let her move into their house.
Seung-Hye checks Se-Ri’s group photos with the students in Harvard, and thinks something must be mistaken. She calls her big sister and is told that Harvard asks them to compensate $62,000. She hangs up when Min-Hyuk walks in, and claims she suddenly wanted to take a look at Se-Ri’s social media page. He smiles when staring at his daughter’s social media page, and thinks she is perfect. She asks him if he wires Se-Ri’s tuition straight to Harvard’s bank account. But he says that she wired it to her account instead.

Seung-Hye goes outside to look for Se-Ri since she didn’t pick up her phone. She mistakes someone for Se-Ri, and remembers Min-Hyuk yelled over the phone when his daughter got accepted. Se-Ri calls back when she is in the nightclub. Seung-Hye is in tear and wants Se-Ri to go home with her. But Se-Ri is intention to go home a little later since she met her friends. Seung-Hye cries alone at the street.
Jin-Hee drops the medicine into Yang-Woo’s eyes when his eyes are dry. She reveals Soo-Han ran away from home yesterday. He is shocked and asks where his precious son is. She says that he is sleeping, and allows him to cut down on his academies. He blames her for pushing Soo-Han too much. But she thinks he will blame her more if Soo-Han doesn’t get accepted. Jin-Hee remembers Chi-Young saved Soo-Han, and thinks he is brave.
She stares at his family photo, and thinks there must be a place for her. Jin-Hee tells Soo-Im how Chi-Young saved her son, and mentions Chi-Young said Woo-Joo ran away from home once. Soo-Im reveals Woo Joo and she fought every day when she got married. Jin-Hee wonders how Soo-Im managed to raise him so well. Soo-Im suggests Jin-Hee to keep Soo-Han at home, but Jin-Hee asks for the secret of education.
Soo-Han is required to teach his parents the math on the board. When Yang-Woo is tired, Jin-Hee shares it’s how Woo-Joo gets good grades. But Soo-Han slows down his speaking speed when Jin-Hee doesn’t understand the simple question. She is furious he calls her as rhino, and calls Yang-Woo’s head with books.
Seo-Jin takes the photo Laura Jung sent to her, and asks Joo-Young for an explaining. Joo-Young asks Seo-Jin if she has other plans this afternoon. Seung-Hye walks into the room when Se-Ri is sleeping, and throws the clothes to her daughter. She yells, “How long must I clean up your mess for?” Min-Hyuk sees the wound on Se-Ri’s head, and asks Ki-Joon to get the first aid kit. He yells at his wife, and Se-Ri asks how could she clean up since she got home at 5am. She says that she spent every single minute in Harvard studying. Seung-Hye tears up because she knows what Se-Ri says are lies.
Joo-Young takes Seo-Jin to the place where kay lives, and tells her that people suspected her since her husband died and her daughter turned into a idiot. Seo-Jin thinks Joo-Young didn’t know about Hye-Na being Joon-Sang’s daughter since she has been through such a painful experience. But she asks Joo-Young if she vetted Hye-Na in the car. Teacher Jo thinks Seo-Jin found it, and Joo-Young asks him to bring Ye-Seo to the meditation room every day.
Seo-Jin remembers Teacher Jo glanced her when she asked about Hye-Na. Hye-Na walks in and asks to switch rooms with Ye-Seo. Seo-Jin stares at Hye-Na with anger and mentions she told her that no one can find out until Ye-Seo gets into SNU. But Hye-Na asks for the credit card when taking a apple from desk. Seo-Jin rejects it since she is still a minor. Hye-Na bites the apple and offers to sleep in Ye-Bin. She lies to Ye-Bin that she got Seo-Jin’s permission when Ye-Bin appears. So Ye-Bin takes Hye-Na to her room, and Hye-Na places the apple on the table. Seo-Jin pushes the apple away, and the apple rolls on the floor.
Ye-Seo sits in the meditation room, Joo-Young tells her to reject everything that gets in her way, even if it’s her mom. Joo-Young touches Ye-Seo’s face, and tells her the only person she can trust is Joo-Young. Ye-Seo nods.
She finds Hye-Na’s toothbrush in her bathroom, and throws it to her. But it hurts Ye-Bin. Ye-Bin tells Ye-Seo to go to basement if she doesn’t want to share it. Hye-Na claims she will go to basement, and leaves Ye-Bin’s room.
Ye-Seo tells Hye-Na that she will end up getting kicked out once she gets into university. She reveals Joo-Young said that she is just a tool for her studies. Hye-Na wonders who is Kim Joo-Young. Ye-Seo threatens to crush Hye-Na’s smug face, but Seo-Jin stops Ye-Seo.
Hye-Na asks Seo-Jin if Joo-Young is Ye-Seo’s exam coordinator. But Seo-Jin ignores Hye-Na and walks into Ye-Seo.
The doctor tells Chi-Young that Joon-Sang is going to be the chief of the planning and coordination office, and he heard he will get replaced. Chi-Young thinks if Joon-Sang becomes the chief, he will runs the hospital like a business. Chi-Young returns office, and types, “Is a hospital a place to earn money or a place ti treat illnesses?”
Yang-Woo walks Joon-Sang and thinks it will be game over once Min-Hyuk meets the old tortoise. Joon-Sang thinks it is just the beginning.
When Seung-Hye is going to take the pill, Min-Hyuk breaks into and looks for the suit for the funeral. He calls Joon-Sang and says Professor Baek just passed away. He says he will send him a couple of things he needs to know, and it’s enough for him to start a conversation with Hyuk-Jae.
When Se-Ri goes out, Seung-Hye asks for a talk and reveals Se-Ri’s aunt called her. She yells her, “How could you completely fool your parents like this?” Se-Ri asks Seung-Hye what her plan is. Seung-Hye thinks her daughter should be begging for forgiveness. Se-Ri claims she is also going through a mess, once dad finds out, he might kill her.
Seung-Hye asks Se-Ri why did she lie if she knew how severely he’d react. Se-Ri yells, “Becase you guys were always so obsessed about Harvard! You guys didn’t love me. You just loved the fact that your daughter goes to Harvard.”
Seo-Joon chases Se-Ri to outside, “How could you pretend to go to Harvard and fool us?” But Se-Ri ignores him. So he asks her what she will do. She says she will deal with it and walks away. Hye-Na and Woo-Joo walk by and see it.
Seo-Jin waits outside, Teacher Jo just drives Ye-Seo home. She asks him if he wanted to say to her when she met kay. But he says that she is mistaken, and leaves.
Min-Hyuk arrives at the funeral hall, and asks Joon-Sang to give the letter to President Choi and let him memorize it. But President Choi asks Joon-Sang to read it for him. But Joon-Sang cannot read it because he didn’t study Chinese characters. So President Choi leaves with anger.
Hyuk-Jae asks President Choi if he has visited a lot of temples in his time. President Choi claims he traveled to all sorts of places with Professor Baek, and mentions Joon-Sang came with them too. But Joon-Sang cannot speak out Professor Baek’s favorite temple, even if he takes the paper.
When Joon-Sang is still in anger, Hye-Na says Se-Ri is not really a Harvard student, and shows the Widener Library’s opening time to him. Joon-Sang laughs and startles the girls.
Min-Hyuk laughs because Joon-Sang cannot read the temple name correctly. But Seung-Hye tears up while she lies in bed.
The old man treats the wound on Soo-Chang’s hand, and finds out someone is walking to them. Soo-Chang walks to Young-Jae and hugs him tightly.
When Soo-Im is writing novel, Woo-Joo gets the tea for her and says he wants to hang out with Seo-Joon and Ki-Joon. She realizes something happens to the kids, and tells Woo-Joo to do it until they get sick of him.
Soo-Chang calls Soo-Im and tells her that Young-Jae came. Young-Jae tells Soo-Im that Joo-Young gave him Ga-Eul’s contact information. He remembers the coach told him not to forgive anyone who meddles in his life, even if it’s his mom.
Young-Jae thinks Joo-Young can control her students’ minds, and asks Soo-Im to write his story. Soo-Im holds his hands.
Yang-Woo is shocked that Se-Ri got into Harvard is a lie, Jin-Hee thinks everyone knows it except Min-Hyuk. Yang-Woo wants to tell Min-Hyuk about it, but Jin-Hee thinks he won’t thank him if he tells it to him.
Jin-Hee says that Seung-Hye was backstabbed by her own daughter, and feels bad. But she asks Soo-Han and Ye-Bin to eat as much as they want, when they think the chicken legs are good.
Seo-Jin is shocked that Joo-Young gave Ga-Eul’s contact information to Young-Jae. Soo-Im thinks it’s lethal blow.
Seo-Jin meets with Teacher Jo and asks him to tell her the truth. He shows the family photo of Joon-Sang and Hye-Na’s mother to her, and says Joo-Young is waiting for her. Joo-Young is enjoying the music in her house, and smiles viciously.
