This is the Recap & Ending for Netflix The King’s Affection K-Drama: Episode 3. Ji-Un walks in the woods. He remembers So-Eun told him that she will kill the girl if he cannot keep the promise. He finds the herb and tries to dig it. But he sees Lee Hwi wearing clothes. He walks to her and he intends to take a look at her.

Lee Hwi is furious to cast the knife to Ji-Un. Ji-Un avoids it. The knife hits the tree behind Ji-Un. He explains to her that he came to dig herbs. He tries to leave. But he worries that she will get shot. He tells her that he wants to take her home.
But Lee Hwi rejects it. She walks to Ji-Un and takes away the knife from him. She points the knife at him. He sees the dress on the ground. He thinks she’s a maid. She catches the chance to stab him. He hugs her when he defeated her. He takes his knife back.
Ji-Un takes Lee Hwi to flee because he believes they will get caught. Prince Changun looks for Lee Hwi. He finds the maid dress on the ground. He picks up the maid dress. Lee Hwi and Ji-Un run into the bodyguards in the woods. They have to flee. The bodyguards chase them.
Lee Hwi and Ji-Un flee to the cliff. They jump off the cliff and fall into the water. Prince Wonsan arrives at the cliff. He takes a look at the sea. He sees nobody. Lee Hwi tries to leave the water. But she finds out that Ji-Un cannot swim. She swims to him. He sees Dam-I swimming to him.
Lee Hyun is on the boat. He smiles after he took out the brush from the box. The follower notes that Lee Hyun cares for the brush. He takes a look at the brush. He finds out that it’s just a normal brush. The bodyguard reports to Hyeong-Seol that Lee Hwi is missing. Court Lady Kim and Eunuch Hong worry about Lee Hwi.
Court Lady Kim gives Lee Hwi’s clothes to Eunuch Hong before he leaves. Lee Hyun shows up. Eunuch Hong has to conceal the clothes. Lee Hyun asks Eunuch Hong about Lee Hwi. But Eunuch Hong runs away. Ji-Un wakes up. He thinks Lee Hwi passed away.
Lee Hwi runs to the camp. She sees King Hyejong smiling at Prince Jehyeon. She remembers King Hyejong was happy to hug Prince Jehyeon. She asked Court Lady Kim if his father agreed to let the killers take her life. Court Lady Kim explained that King Hyejong couldn’t be against his father.
Lee Hwi turns around. She sees the killer shooting her. Lee Hyun hugs Lee Hwi. He takes her to roll aside to avoid the arrow. She’s surprised to look at him. He helps her avoid another arrow. Hyeong-Seol runs to the killer when he shoots him. The killer runs away. Hyeong-Seol chases the killer.
Lee Hwi intends to go to chase the killer. Lee Hyun stops her. He reminds her that Hyeong-Seol will catch the killer. He worries that she was hurt. He tells her to leave with him before the bodyguards come. But she stops him and takes a look at her clothes.
Lee Hyun asks Lee Hwi about her clothes. Eunuch Hong shows up. He hands over the clothes to Lee Hwi. He runs away with her. Hyeong-Seol hits the killer in the end. The killer rolls down the hill. He’s missing. Lee Hyun reports to King Hyejong that the killer tried to take Lee Hwi’s life. The bodyguards go to catch the killer.
Queen asks Lee Hwi if he’s hurt. She tells King Hyejong to return to the palace. But Ki-Jae thinks there was an insider helped the killer. Hyeong-Seol finds the dead killer. He tells his followers to carry the killer away. But the real killer is watching them.
Hyeong-Seol reports to King Hyejong that the killer is the follower of Lee Hwi. Queen sneers at Lee Hwi before she leaves. Hak-Su complains to Ki-Jae that they all know the killer was arranged by Queen. But King Hyejong takes Queen’s side.
Jil-Geum climbs over the wall. He sees Yeong-Ji being tied up. He cries to call her. He avoids So-Eun when he sees her. The bodyguard reports to So-Eun that Ji-Un didn’t show up. She regrets that she trusted Ji-Un. Yeong-Ji tells So-Eun that Ji-Un is the one who can be trusted even if he looks like a bad man.
So-Eun walks to Yeong-Ji. She grabs her chin and tells her that she wants to brand her because she looks beautiful. Ji-Un stops So-Eun when he shows up. He tells her that he brought the herbs to her. He throws the herbs to the ground. So-Eun tells Ji-Un that she thought he would run away. He tells her that he wouldn’t do that because he needs to protect Yeong-Ji. He unties Yeong-Ji.
Grand Queen Dowager meets with Lee Hwi. She tells him that she worried about her after she heard she was attacked by the killer. Queen tells Grand Queen Dowager that Prince Jehyeon worried Lee Hwi as well. Grand Queen Dowager to Queen to know her position. She reminds Lee Hwi that she will be the king in the future.
Lee Hwi walks out of Grand Queen Dowager’s palace. Prince Jehyeon greets Lee Hwi. Lee Hwi is cold to walk away with her followers. Queen thinks Lee-Hwi is cold to her son. She wishes her son to be the king. Lee Hwi returns to her palace. Eunuch Hong closes the door.
The King’s Affection K-Drama: Episode 3 Ending
Ji-Un returns home. But he’s arrested by the bodyguards. Lee Hwi is writing. He remembers the guy introduced himself as Ji-Un. She drops the brush. Lee Hyun shows up behind her. He hands over a new brush to her. He tells her that the new brush is better than the old one. He gives the box to her. Eunuch Hong informs Lee Hwi that her new teacher came. Lee Hwi walks Eunuch Hong. She tells him that she wants to give the new teacher a hard time.
