Xie Wanwu gets her maid Ni Chang to bring the medicine. She tells Su Jiner to make Princess drink it. Su Jiner asks Xie Wanwu if it will damage Wang Xuan’s body, and tells her that Wang Xuan is like her older sister. Wang Xuan tells Song Huaien that she believes that Xiao Qi will come to save them with troops. She wants to guard the city to wait for Xiao Qi.
Feng Huaien comforts Wang Xuan that he will escort her leave from water path. But she doesn’t want to leave. He reminds her that he was asked not to make her in danger. But she wants to stay with the soldiers. Xie Wanru comforts Su Jiner that the medicine won’t hurt Wang Xuan. She promises to get her to be side concubine after she’s successful.
Su Jiner that she can do anything if it’s for Zi Tan. Jianning Prince tells the general to attack Hui State. Crown Prince hugs Xue Wanru from her back, and reveals he found out she was missing when he woke up. She tells him that she’s worrying about Princess.
The maid reports to Wang Xuan that the foods go bad. Wang Xuan tells the maid to share the good foods with people. Song Huaen tells Wang Xuan that they can only resist for two days if Jianning Prince attacks them. She thinks they can only make Jianning Prince believe that Qiao Qi is in Hui state.
Zi Tan visits Princess. She asks him why he’s there. He tells her that he had looked for her, and tells her to leave with him. He tells her to give up everything and stay with him. But she thinks she cannot leave with him because she’s Yuzhang Princess.
Zi Tan tells Wang Xuan that nobody can part them. But she thinks what he said means nothing because it’s past. He tells her that he tried his best to get back to the time they parted. She tells him that everything was changed when he broke his promise. He points out that he didn’t broke his promise that day. He adds that she didn’t wait for him.
Zi Tan hands over the hairpin Princess threw away. She wipes off her tear, and tells him that he misses all his life once he misses one time. She says that she’s Yuzhang Prince’s woman in her mind because she and Xiao Qi took living and death. He hugs her and tells her that he cannot lose her. He tells her to run away with him. But she pushes him away, and reminds him that she isn’t his A Wu anymore.
