This is the Recap & Ending for K-Drama The Red Sleeve Cuff: Episode 13. Yi San is reading the book in the study when Tae-Ho protects him. He cannot continue to read the book after he remembered he made a proposal to Deok-Im. He asks Tae-Ho how to get a girl to care for him.

Tae-Ho reveals his wife began to care for him after he was injured. He tells Yi San to pretend to be weak. Yi San sees some people sneaking into his palace. Tae-Ho blocks the darts for Yi San and cuts off the candles. Yi San asks Tae-Ho to catch the killers and keep their lives.
Tae-Ho breaks through the door before the killer reaches the door. He defeats the killer and tries to catch her. But she flees after throwing the sand to him. Court Lady Seo gathers the maids and tells them that the killers sneaked into the palace to hurt Yi San. She asks them to look for the killer.
Deok-Im takes a look at Wol-Hye after the maids left. Deok-Im walks around the palace to look for the killers. She sees the tree moving. She wants to go to take a look at the tree. But Wol-Hye stops Deok-Im and tells her not to get killed. Deok-Im returns to the palace with Wol-Hye. Deok-Ro is waiting for them. He gets Tae-Ho to catch Wol-Hye.
It flashes back. Deok-Im confesses to Wol-Hye that his father was the follower of Crown Prince Sado. Wol-Hye tells Deok-Im that she will report it to Head Court Lady Jo. But Deok-Im doesn’t believe that Wol-Hye would do that. Because they were best friends who played kite together. Wol-Hye laughs and swears to protect their past.
Deok-Im visits the jail in Deok-Ro’s help. She tears up when she sees the maids crying when they get locked up. She sees Wol-Hye. Wol-Hye smiles at Deok-Im. Deok-Im walks to Wol-Hye. Wol-Hye tells Deok-Im that she saved her because she likes her. She thinks she shouldn’t stay in the palace. Deok-Im tears up and ties hair for Wol-Hye. It makes Wol-Hye tear up.
Deok-Im serves Yi San to eat. She tells him that the maid who tastes the dishes for him is interrogated by Deok-Ro. He notes that she’s not happy and thinks she looks like a dog who attends the funeral. It makes her angry. He tells her that the angry looks is what he wants to see.
Yi San tells Deok-Im that he wants to make a bet with her. He adds that she needs to give him the answer about his proposal if he wins. But he will fulfill her wish if she wins. She tells him that she wants Bok-Yeon to get back to the palace.
Deok-Im picks up a big stone and hands it over to Yi San after knowing the game is stone skipping. But Tae-Ho points out that the stone won’t work. He laughs after he showed off his stone skipping skill. Yi San does a perfect stone skipping with the big stone which was given by Deok-Im. She’s shocked.

Yi San gives Deok-Im three chances. So she goes to look for the good stones. But the stones are taken away by Tae-Ho. Yi San learns that Deok-Im cares for Bok-Yeon more than him. He throws the stone into the pool and gives up the game. He leaves with Tae-Ho.
The Red Sleeve Cuff: Episode 13 Ending
Yi San thinks Hyebin Hong chose Hong Dan to be her daughter-in-law for herself. But she tells him that she summoned Deok-Im to her palace and asked her to be his concubine because she knows he has feelings for the maid. She adds that Deok-Im rejected it.
Yi San goes to the library to see Deok-Im. She hands over the book he’s looking for to him. But he puts the book to the bookshelf, telling her that the book is just an excuse. He asks her if she rejected Hyebin Hong’s offer. She admits it.
Yi San is furious to walk to Deok-Im. He makes her step back to the wall, asking her why she doesn’t want to be his concubine. She tells him that she worries that she will lose herself. He is furious to walk out of the library. He sighs when he looks at the sky.
Hee-Won talks with the ministers about Deok-Ro’s sister was chosen to be the queen. Deok-Ro shows up. Yi San tells the ministers not to step in his marriage. He reveals the decision was made by Queen Jungsoon. Hee-Won asks Yi San about his plan. Yi San says that he wants to prevent the flood.
Deok-Im sees Hong Dan walking into the palace with other ladies. She greets Yi San when he stares at her. He tries to walk to her. But he’s stopped by Queen Jungsoon. She tells him that she wants Deok-Im to read books for her. He agrees to it.
Queen Jungsoon tells Yi San that she feels uncomfortable. She asks him for accompanying her to walk. He takes her to walk. She has an eye contact with Deok-Im. Queen Jungsoon tells Yi San that she can help him get Deok-Im if he wants to get the girl. He rejects it. She mentions he didn’t achieve anything. She’s furious to walk away.
Court Lady Seo tells the maids that Hong Dan has become Yi San’s woman. Kyung-Hee tells Bok-Yeon not to trust Deok-Ro when she washes the bowl. She thinks the man isn’t simple. But Bok-Yeon asks Kyung-Hee not to badmouth her master.
Kyung-Hee mentions Deok-Ro wronged many maids and killed them. Hong Dan shows up behind Deok-Im and calls her. Deok-Im bows to Hong Dan. Hong Dan is happy to see Deok-Im. She shows the sachet which was given by her. She mentions what Deok-Ro told her that she’s a good person.
Hong Dan has to leave when the maid calls her. She waves to Deok-Im. She walks away. Deok-Im is waiting for Yi San. But Court Lady Seo tells Deok-Im that Yi San won’t return tonight. She hands over the cotton to her. She tells her to hug it when she sleeps. But Deok-Im still waits for Yi San because she thinks it’s her duty as his personal maid.
