Twinkling Watermelon: Episode 10 Recap & Review

Episode 10 of Twinkling Watermelon begins with a scene where Eun-Gyeol is heartless to reject a girl at a restaurant. He thinks dating is useless. It drives the girl mad. He explains to her that his brother Eun Ho tells the lines to him.

Eun Ho Wishes Eun-Gyeol to Twinkle

The girl texts Eun Ho. She asks him to tell the truth to him. Because she doesn’t believe what Eun-Gyeol said. Eun Ho tries to text back. But Eun-Gyeol grabs the phone from Eun Ho. He tells the girl not to contact his brother. She’s furious to stand up.

He explains to her that Eun Ho asked him to do so. She pours the water to him. She runs out of the restaurant. Eun Ho laughs when he sees the looks of Eun-Gyeol. They walk out of the restaurant. Eun-Gyeol asks Eun Ho for the girl’s number. Because there were four girls liking Eun Ho. But he only rejected one.

Eun Ho refuses to give the girl’s number to his brother. Because the girl is very special to him. Eun-Gyeol tells Eun Ho to think about his future. But Eun Ho persuades Eun-Gyeol to think about himself. The episode returns to the scene where Eun-Gyeol tries to kiss Eun-Yu.

But he remembers his task. So he stops kissing her. He tells himself not to kiss the girl because the girl’s grandpa gave a guitar to him. She comforts him that it’s his honor to like her. She laughs after she realized that he never dated.

A Kiss

He remembers what his brother told him to twinkle. He kisses Eun-Yu. Chung-A stays in the room with Yi-Chan alone. She avoids his eyes when he takes a look at her. He thinks she has feelings for him after he found out that she drew him. She admits it. He’s shocked.

Eun-Gyeol and Eun-Yu are on the way home. Eun-Yu tells Eun-Gyeol to forget the kiss. She thinks he kissed her because his dirty mind. She asks him to keep a distance from her. But he refuses to do so. He walks to her. She reminds him that it’s unfair to Yi-Chan if she’s close to him.

But he blames her for building a wall to him. She admits that she let him catch the chance. She runs into her house. He leaves her house and hugs a tree. He thinks he lost his mind. He tells himself that he did it for his task.

Real Smile

Chung-A waits for Eun-Gyeol in the yard. She sees him and she runs to him. She drags him to her room. She shows the signs to him. She asks him about the meaning of the signs. He tells the meaning to her that staying with him. He realizes that the person was Yi-Chan after Chung-A mentions the guy thanked her for saving him.

She asks him to teach her sign language. He agrees to it. It makes her happy. Gun-Hyeong meets with Eun-Gyeol. He asks him if he enjoys to be his daughter’s teacher. He reminds him that he promised to let him see the results within one month.

Eun-Gyeol mentions Gun-Hyeong is going to go on a business trip. He persuades him to buy his daughter a fax machine. He explains to him that he told him to do so for reaching his goal. He leaves his office. Gun-Hyeong remembers Eun-Gyeol promised him to show his daughter’s real smile to him.

Gun-Hyeong opens the drawer. He takes out the family photo of him and Chung-A. Ji-Mi sees it when she opens the door of his study. Eun-Yu walks out of her house. She sees the note which Eun-Gyeol left to her. He explains to her that he did it because she asked him to keep a distance from her.

Ji-Mi Intends to Hurt Chung-A

He reveals he fixed her scooter. He wishes her a happy day. But she sees him teaching Chung-A sign language when she arrives at the school. Ji-Mi gets off her car. She walks to Chung-A. Eun-Gyeol blocks Ji-Mi’s way for protecting his mother. She asks him for a meeting up.

He meets with her in her office. She mentions what she told him not to use sign language in the house. She explains to him that she did it for Chung-A. But he knows there’s another reason behind her intention. He thinks she does it for making Chung-A not talk with her father.

He learns that she’s trying to let him take her side with her money. He tells her that he won’t let her get what she wants. But she threatens to hurt Chung-A if he doesn’t leave the house. He’s upset when he cleans the swimming pool. He hears the ringing of the phone. He finds the phone from the locker.

Perfect Helper

He picks up the phone. Master thinks Eun-Gyeol has a good day. But Eun-Gyeol yells at Master. He complains to him that he didn’t show up when he needs him. He asks him to tell him the place where his father’s accident happened. But Master tells Eun-Gyeol to enjoy the youth.

Eun-Gyeol tells Master not to call him after he didn’t give the answer to him. He tries to hang up. But Master leaks that he arranged a perfect helper for Eun-Gyeol. He intends to hang up. Eun-Gyeol stops Master. He asks him about the perfect helper.

The teacher asks Eun-Yu to play cello. She claims that she didn’t bring her cello. He lets the student to lend the cello to her. Her hand shakes when she tries to play the cello. She remembers the woman reminded her that she killed her friend when she attended her friend’s funeral.
