Seon-Taek and Song-Jung go to buy tomato in Typhoon Family episode 2. Seon-Taek reveals their president likes it. Ma-Jin cries when he talks with someone over the phone in the phone booth. He thinks their president didn’t have to feel sorry. Myung-Gwan mourns Jin-Young at home. He tears up. Mi-Seon hides in the corner. She takes a look at her admission ticket for college. She wipes off her tears. Those guys are the employees of Typhoon Trading Company. They’re sad after they lost their president. Tae-Poong is at the hospital. He breaks his pager because it caused him not to see his father one last time.
The Man on the Asphalt Road
The employees of Typhoon Trading Company are holding funeral for Jin-Young. But some people try to take away the money from the funeral. Ma-Jin has a fight with those guys for guarding the money. Tae-Poong comes out after he heard the commotion. The chief of the troublemakers claims that he must take away the money box because Tae-Poong’s father owed him some money. But Mi-Seon stops those guys. She points out that the payment deadline has not yet arrived and it’s the president’s personal funds. She thinks it’s a stealing if CEO Choi takes away the money. Bak-Ho shows up. He recognizes CEO Choi. He puts a wad of cash on the desk.
Bak-Ho visited Jin-Young in the ward after Tae-Poong left. He asked Jin-Young where he hid the stuff. But Jin-Young couldn’t give Bak-Ho the answer because he was in a coma. Bak-Ho left the ward. He ran into Mi-Seon. She noticed him when he walked away.
Mi-Seon and Tae-Poong watch the news together in the lobby. President of South Korea asks people to replace him to fight grief. Mi-Seon thinks it’s ridiculous. Because they need to survive first. Tae-Poong is on the way home with his mother. He comforts her that he’s a man of many talents. But he cannot park the car well. The mother and the son get into trouble after they lost the head of the household.
Mi-Seon returns home when Mi-Ho is dressing up. Mi-Seon is told that the airline didn’t hire her sister because of IMF. Mi-Ho wipes off her tears. She decides to go to look for some jobs. Tae-Poong goes to the greenhouse. He runs into Nam-Mo. Tae-Poong reveals he’s going to wear a suit. Because he wants to go to work at Typhoon Trading Company.
Tae-Poong goes to Typhoon Trading Company. The employees are surprised when they see the guy. Tae-Poong reveals he came to take his father’s stuff. He walks into his father’s office. He sits on the chair. He sees his father’s photo. Seon-Taek plans to tell Tae-Poong that they’re going to get money from Daebang Textile. But Ma-Jin worries that the guy will close the company once he gets the money. Seon-Taek doesn’t believe that the guy will do that. Because she knows he’s not smart.
CEO Choi takes the people to break into the office. He blames those guys for using the heating. He complains it to them that he doesn’t have rice to eat. He asks the smart girl Mi-Seon to take out the money when he puts the contract on the desk. Tae-Poong claims that he’s an employee of the company. CEO Choi takes away the contract of the office. Mi-Seon lets Tae-Poong fill out his personal information since he’s going to work at the company.
Tae-Poong returns home. The power was cut off. Because his family owes debts. His mother wears mink coat. She lights the candles. She tells his son that they’re celebrate Christmas. But he picks up the phone and he’s scolded by the creditor.
Mi-Seon burns her books in the yard at home. Mi-Ho throws a fit to her sister after knowing Mi-Seon didn’t go to take the exam. She swears to repay her. Mi-Seon hugs Mi-Ho for comfort her. But she tears up. Tae-Poong finds a key in his father’s office. He finds a safe then.
Nam-Mo runs into Tae-Poong on the street. They go to a Billiards Hall. Tae-Poong reveals he found a safe in his father’s office. Nam-Mo persuades Tae-Poong not to share what he found with the employees. Because it’s a secret. He brings a good news to him that he’s going to be a singer. Tae-Poong yells after he heard the good news. Hyun-Jun provokes Tae-Poong. It promotes Tae-Poong to take the chair. But he’s stopped by Nam-Mo. Because he needs to consider his mother.
The next day, Tae-Poong goes to work. Everyone is busy except him. Those guys have a meeting. Tae-Poong asks his colleagues about the four most important numbers of Typhoon Trading Company. But they leave the meeting room. Because they don’t want to leak the secret. He manages to find the clue. The colleagues invite Tae-Poong to go to drink loach soup with him. But the guy rejects it. Mi-Seon reveals the numbers are “2072” after the colleagues left. Tae-Poong is told that Mi-Seon doesn’t like loach soup as well. But it’s a work so that she has to attend. Tae-Poong sneaks into his father’s office in the evening. He uses the numbers “2072” to open the safe. He finds the bankbooks of him and the employees.
The next day, the employees intend to go to drink loach soup again. But Tae-Poong asks Mi-Seon to have lunch with him. He takes her to a restaurant. He asks her to teach him how to work. Because he knows his father cared for the company. They leave the restaurant. Mi-Seon reveals Tae-Poong’s father left some words. Mi-Seon and Jin-Young were in the ward. Jin-Young asked Mi-Seon to take care of his son. Because he knew Tae-Poong will do a good job.
Tae-Poong learns that his father trusted him. He’s shy to laugh. Mi-Seon goes to take the guy’s business card. Tae-Poong takes a break on the street. He takes out his bankbook. Jin-Young wished Tae-Poong to be happy. Tae-Poong cries after knowing his father’s wish.
The next day, Tae-Poong wears a suit to show up at the company. He volunteers to go to Daebang Textile with the colleagues. Tae-Poong, Ma-Jin and Mi-Seon go to the cargo terminal. Ma-Jin checks the goods in person. They meet Mr. Baek. Ma-Jin reveals Tae-Poong is the son of the president. But he thinks the guy won’t hang in there too long. Mr. Baek doesn’t think so. He tells Tae-Poong that he will have a bright future if he can hang in there.

The trucks leave. Tae-Poong realizes that those guys abandoned him and Mi-Seon. But Mi-Seon knows the address of Daebang Textile. The two arrive at the company before Mr. Baek and Ma-Jin. Because Mi-Seon used the map well. They enter the office of the company. Tae-Poong discovers the office is very clean. He suspects the company. He asks Mi-Seon not to sign.

Tae-Poong runs out of Daebang Textile. He stops the trucks. He asks the drivers not to give the goods to Daebang Textile. Ma-Jin doesn’t understand why Tae-Poong does it. Tae-Poong cannot convince his colleague. So he lies on the road. Ma-Jin asks Mr. Baek to run Tae-Poong over. It snows. Tae-Poong remembers his father. He tells his father that the snow is very beautiful. He smiles.
