“Unrequited Love” is a new Chinese romance drama which comes out in 2021. The drama tells a story about a girl Luo Zhi has had a crush on Sheng Huainan for 15 years. But he doesn’t know her until he broke up with his ex-girlfriend Ye Zhanyan. He falls for her and finds out that she intended to make him have feelings for her.
“Unrequited Love” is adapted from Bayue Changan’s novel “Unrequited Love“.
Hu Bingqing and Hu Yitian are the lead actors.
Hu Bingqing starred Chinese historical drama “The Legend of Dugu” in 2018. She played the empress Dugu Jialuo who helped her husband get the throne. She will star “Accidentally Meow On You” in 2021.
Hu Yitian starred Chinese school drama “A Love So Beautiful” in 2017. He currently stars Go Go Squid 2 Dt.Appledog’s Time.

Summary
Luo Zhi cannot forget Sheng Huainan since she encountered him at the wedding. She tries her best to study hard and make him pay attention to her. But he doesn’t know her at all even if they have been in same high school for three years. Because he only cared for Ye Zhanyan.
Jiang Baili knows Luo Zhi loves Sheng Huainan, and tells her to pursue him. Sheng Huainan thinks Luo Zhi is the one he looks for. Because she always supports him. But he’s told that they’re lies. He is furious to use the yellow raincoat to test Luo Zhi, and interrogates her. It hurts her deeply. He regrets for what he did, and decides to pursue her. But the love flame of her is extinguished.

But he suspects her love after his ex-girlfriend badmouthed her.

He is vigilant when girls are close to him. He likes Luo Zhi because she knows what he wants. But Ye Zhangya tells him that Luo Zhi has collected his personal data since they were in high school. He feels that he got tricked, and forces Luo Zhi to confess it to him. But it makes her disappointed, and she decides not to love him anymore.

He is the roommate of Sheng Huainan. He treats him as his friend after he fixed the phone for him. He encounters Luo Zhi and falls for her. He cares for her when she’s hurt by Sheng Huainan.
Liu Meihan as Jiang Baili
She’s Luo Zhi’s best friend. She encouraged her to pursue Sheng Huainan after knowing she loves him. She is Ge Bi’s girlfriend. But he doesn’t like her at all, and treats her like his maid.

She’s Sheng Huainan’s ex-girlfriend. She tells him not to be close to other girls after she broke up with him. She gets angry after knowing Sheng Huainan and Luo Zhi are in love. So she tells Luo Zhi’s secret to him.
