Lao Lu opens the door, and the colleagues help Lu Jia move up. Ang Yang calls Shan Nie, and she asks him if he will come or not. He tells her that he cannot come as he has a stomachache. He tells her to give the phone to Lu Jia, and he thinks Lu Jia knows why he fears to go to her house.
Shan Ni takes Lu Jia to her house. Lu Jia is shocked to see the girl confessing her feelings to Jia Xiu. Lu Jia learns that Jia Xiu lives next to her. He rejects the girl and tells her that he doesn’t celebrate his birthday. She tells him to eat her cake as she had made it for a long time.
Jia Xiu tells the girl that he doesn’t like to eat cake, and thinks it’s waste to keep it. She has to leave. Wang Yi worries that Jia Xiu finds out they’re peeping. Shan Ni thinks Jia Xiu found it out early, and reveals she saw the drama many times. She thinks he won’t mind it.
Shan Ni tells Lu Jia that the girl fell in love to Jia Xiu at first sight, and thinks she came to confess her feelings. Lu Jia asks Shan Ni why Jia Xiu lives next to her. Shan Ni says that he was there when she moved in.
Lu Jia throws away the trash, and she sees the girl who is crying. She tells her that she will find a man who wants to make cake for her. The girl thanks Lu Jia and wants to give the cakes to her. She tells her to throw them away if she doesn’t want to keep them.
