Grandmother runs into Ling Yizhou’s mom at the hospital but she doesn’t like to see her. She asks Xia Lin what happened. Xia Lin reveals Ling Yizhou blocked the bullet for her. Grandmother is shocked but thinks Ling Yizhou should protect Xia Lin. She guesses she has been in pain since she is pregnancy.
Xia Lin wishes Ling Yizhou to be safe. Chu Yan brings snack to Xia Lin and tells her that grandmother slept. Jia Fei persuades Xia Lin that grandmother cannot stand it if she passes out. Xia Lin tells her friends not to worry about her because she has eaten and slept well. She promises to take a break when Ling Yizhou wakes up.
Wen Li gets a call from Team Leader Wang that Nan Jingtian’s car fell into sea. The doctor walks out and tells them the bullet has been removed, but Ling Yizhou’s condition isn’t well. He isn’t sure when he will wake up because he lost too much blood. Xia Lin passes out.
Xia Lin wakes up and wants to see Ling Yizhou. But grandmother tells Xia Lin to take care of herself first because she is pregnancy. Xia Lin tears up when holding Ling Yizhou’s hand and tells him that she and the baby are waiting for him. But his condition goes worse. The doctor asks her to go out because they need to rescue Ling Yizhou.
The doctor tells Xia Lin that Ling Yizhou hurt his brain when his breath stopped. He thinks only miracle wakes Ling Yizhou up. Xia Lin decides to wait the miracle. President Chu asks Chu Yan who manages Lingshi group. Chu Yan thinks his father wants to ruin Lingshi group, and threatens to get rid of him if the person wants to hurt his brother.
President Chu tells Chu Yan that someone else wants to get rid of Ling Yizhou. Chu Yan decides to inform Wen Li. Wen Li tells Xia Lin that police found Nan Jingtian’s body, and Yang Tong will live in the jail all her life. He thinks it’s her choice. Wen Li tells Xia Lin that someone wants to get Lingshi group when Ling Yizhou is in a coma.
Ling Yizhou’s mother tells Xia Lin that she wants to help Ling Yizhou and asks for the shareholder list. But Xia Lin cannot find it. She spots Ling Yizhou’s mother taking the toy, and reveals she gave it to him. Xia Lin asks Ling Yizhou’s mother if she is familiar to the toy. But the lady isn’t sure about it.
Xia Lin remembers Wen Li told her that Ling Yizhou’s mother met with shareholder in in private. Xia Lin runs into Ling Yizhou’s mother at the office. The lady tells Xia Lin to leave the vote to her. But Xia Lin wants to do something for her husband. The lady thinks Xia Lin will fail but is surprised that Chu Yan appears instead of President Chu.
Grandmother shows up and tells Xia Lin to try her best. Xia Lin wins on the end and asks Ling Yizhou’s mother why she did so. The lady says that she loves Nan Jingtian’s father and asks Xia Lin how she found out it. Xia Lin reveals the lady didn’t care it when she mentioned the robot, but it’s important to Ling Yizhou.
Xia Lin thinks the lady didn’t ask Wen Li for the list, and says that she asks him for her. She reveals she was busy for protecting Lingshi. She thinks Nan Jingtian is silly to take revenge for her, and they were cheated by her. Xia Lin thinks the lady doesn’t deserve to get Ling Yizhou’s forgiveness.
Chu Yan returns home and tells President Chu that they win. President Chu laughs and remembers he asked Chu Yan to vote for him because he thought his son was important than his company. Chu Yan tells President Chu that he will give up his career and learns to manage company.
Xia Lin holds Ling Yizhou’s hand with tears and threatens to let someone else be the baby’s father. He wakes up and says that he wants to earn money raising her. She says that she misses him and is in his arms. She gives the baby’s photo to him as the birthday present. He thinks it’s best present he received and tells her not to cry.
Chu Yan runs into Tong Xiaoyou at the hospital. She thanks him for the money and reveals her mother has intestinal cancer. He asks her about the creditors. She says that they weren’t creditors but his father’s men, and reveals her father wife couldn’t give birth so he looked for her. Chu Yan laughs because Tong Xiaoyou has same fate to him.
Jia Fei spots Ling Yizhou getting apple for Xia Lin, and wonders who is the patient. Xia Lin explains that Ling Yizhou needs exercise, and looks for Chu Yan. She spots Chu Yan talking with Tong Xiaoyou.

Xia Lin tells Chu Yan to catch the chance when she knows Tong Xiaoyou saved him. Tong Xiaoyou guesses Chu Yan loves Xia Lin. He reveals he has to quit because Xia Lin is Ling Yizhou’s wife. Tong Xiaoyou thinks Chu Yan loves Xia Lin so deeply. Ling Yizhou tells Xia Lin that he knows what happened in the company.
She feels sorry for trusting his mother. He says that he wished mother’s love but didn’t expect that she was so cruel. She says that she wants him to be happy. He thinks he is happy because he owns her and the baby. Chu Yan asks Uncle Fu to look into Tong Xiaoyou, and mentions President Chu. Uncle Fu reveals President Chu keeps working overtime, and asks Chu Yan to persuade his father.
Xia Lin and Ling Yizhou get into the car. He wants to throw a big wedding to her, but she says that she feels happy if he is nice to her. So he gives her a big kiss. He joins her mother when she is going to leave, and tells her that he won’t take revenge for her husband. He says that he can understand the decision she made and reveals he finds the woman, who is worth him to give up everything.
President Chu is going to go to the business dinner. Chu Yan wants to join his father. He picks the shoe the girl left, but the girl throws another shoe to him. He arrives at the dinner, and President Chu introduces Uncle Ai to him. Uncle Ai wants to introduce his daughter to Chu Yan, but she is missing. Chu Yan mentions he met Uncle Ai’s daughter and thinks she is funny.
Ling Yizhou prepares breakfast for Xia Lin. She tells him that her drama is going to air, and wants to raise him. The staff ask Wen Li about their boss, but Wen Li refuses to leak the information. So they want to find out who is the administrator of the chat group. Jia Fei finds out a female sent a message to Wen Li and asked him out.
Jia Fei thinks Wen Li cheated on her and arrives at the nightclub with Xia Lin. Xia Lin worries that Jia Fei fights with Wen Li. Jia Fei is shocked when she spots the staff in the room. Ling Yizhou shows up and reveals them that Wen Li told him the place. He takes Xia Lin away then.
Jia Fei feels sorry for disclosing Wen Li’s identity and asks him why he set up the rumor group. He says that the idea comes from gossip girl. She wants to write a novel about him. He agrees but offers to kiss her. Jia Fei and Xia Lin appear at Chu Yan’s conference. But Xia Lin hides herself from people.
Jia Fei leaves and asks Xia Lin to visit her at the room. But Xia Lin is kidnapped. Chu Yan doesn’t find Xia Lin and informs it to Jia Fei. Meanwhile, Ling Yizhou gets the message from Nan Jingtian who asks him to come alone. Xia Lin wakes up and finds out Nan Jingtian is still alive.
He tells her that he needs Ling Yizhou’s help and promises not to hurt him. He takes the knife to be close to Xia Lin’s neck when Ling Yizhou arrives. He thinks they have same fate, and offers to ruin the woman together. But he finds out police arrive, and threatens to ruin Xia Lin’s face.
Police shoot Nan Jingtian and arrest him. Chu Yan claims he called police and saved Xia Lin and Ling Yizhou. Chu Yan waits for Ms. Ai at the cafe and tells President Chu that he will leave if she doesn’t appear in 10 minutes. Tong Xiaoyou shows up and surprises Chu Yan. She tells him that she is watched by the bodyguards. Chu Yan flees with Tong Xiaoyou.
Chu Yan returns home and tells President Chu that he was rejected by Ms. Ai. But President Chu mentions Chu Yan fled with Ms. Ai. Chu Yan is shocked. Xia Lin asks Tong Xiaoyou about Chu Yan. Tong Xiaoyou claims they’re just friends. Xia Lin thinks most of loves begin from friends.
Jia Fei wonders where Wen Li goes. He plays guitar walking to her and prepares the ring. Jia Fei kisses him but Xia Lin is going to give birth.
