Yong King gets Doctor Wu to see Feng Lanxi. Doctor Wu reports to Yong King that Feng Lanxi is sick because he worked too hard. Yong King asks Feng Lanxi to explain it. Feng Lanxi gets on knees to Yong King. He asks for the punishment.
Feng Lanxi confesses that he went out of the the Hot Spring Palace to visit his mom’s grave. He mentions Yong King didn’t visit the grave. He cries to reveal that he came to the Anyu Mountain because he missed his mom very much. Yong King thinks it’s a good thing. He wonders why Fang Lanxi didn’t tell it to him.

Feng Lanxi explains that he worried that people would talk about it if he mentioned his mom. Yong King thinks Feng Lanxi didn’t do anything wrong. He helps him get up. He tells him to return to the Yong City with him. Zhong Li returns to the Hot Spring Palace.
Ren Chuanyu sees the bird in Zhong Li’s pocket. He thinks he went to catch the bird. Zhong Li reveals that the bird was given by Bai Fengxi. Ren Rusong tells Ren Chuayu to pay attention to the people around Feng Lanxi. Bai Fengxi plays the black bird. She thinks he’s like Hei Fengxi.
The chief of Tianshuang Sect Bai Jiande shows up. He tells Bai Fengxi that Luoyan Sect was ruined by Duanhun Sect. Feng Lanxi tells Ren Rusong that he believed that Yong King would punish if he didn’t stay in Hot Spring Palace. He adds that Feng Ju would get the position of Crown Prince.
Feng Lanxi believes that the war began when Yong King took Feng Ju to get into Hot Spring Palace. Ren Rusong tells Feng Lanxi to spend time on Autumn Hunting. He reveals Feng Qiwu is going to take part in Autumn Hunting. He tells Feng Lanxi to get married with Feng Qiwu.
But Feng Lanxi rejects it. Ren Rusong thinks Feng Lanxi rejected it because of Hei Fengxi. Feng Lanxi denies it. He explains that he worries that Feng Ju and Baili family will be against it if he gets married with Feng Qiwu. Feng Lanxi returns to his palace. He praises Huang Niang. He hands over the gift to her. He tells the maid to take care of Huang Niang.
Huang Niang smiles after Feng Lanxi left. She opens the gift and finds the hairpin. The maid thinks Feng Lanxi was nice to Huang Niang. She believes that Feng Lanxi intended to buy Huang Niang the hairpin. Huang Niang is shy.
