This is the recap for A Girl Like Me Chinese Drama: Episode 6. Rong Xia tells Ban Hua that Shen Yu is a jerk. He shows Shen Yu’s fiancee Ms. Wang to her. Ban Hua is furious to take her whip. Shen Yu takes Ms. Li to the fan store, and asks her which fan she likes. She’s shy and thinks the fan he gave her is most beautiful.

Shen Yu doesn’t expect that Ms. Li still takes his fan. Ban Hua shows up and throws a fit to Shen Yu. He explains that the fan was given in the banquet. She scolds him that he’s jerk who plays girls. Ms. Li talks back that there’s no problem she accepted the fan because Ban Hua and Shen Yu doesn’t get married.
But Ban Hua tells Ms. Li that it’s not her business. Rong Xia brings Ms. Wang to Shen Yu. But Shen Yu says that he doesn’t know her. Ms. Wang tells people that she invested in Shen Yu’s study but he pretended not to know her after he got first place. Shen Yu tells Xiang Jun that he only has feelings on her, and thinks Ms. Wang is a plot.
Ban Hua tells Ms. Li that Shen Yu is a jerk. But Ms. Li thinks Shen Yu is a good boy because he works hard. Ban Hua asks Ms. Li if she wants to be concubine because Shen Yu has a fiancee. Ms. Li denies. Ban Hua whips Shen Yu and claims that she wants to give a lesson to the jerk for Emperor. She asks him where his conscience is.
Shen Yu stops Ban Hua and tells her that he just liked her looks. He adds that she owns nothing except beauty. He complains that she is just a female tiger who likes to spend money. He tells her that he wants to cancel the marriage, and throws away the jade pendant. She is furious to whip him.
Shi Jin stops Ban Hua. Shen Yu thinks there’s no law if Shi Jin doesn’t catch Ban Hua. Shi Jin tells Ban Hua to return to his office with him. But she rejects it. Rong Xia points out that Shi Jin should catch Shen Yu first. He tales Ban Hua away.
Rong Xia tells Ban Hua that he wants to walk her home. She rejects it because she has feet. He tells her that he cannot explain it to Shi Jin because he promised to escort home. She tells him that she won’t flee. He thinks she shouldn’t feel sad because it was Shen Yu’s fault. She points out that it’s not his business, and complains that he kept ruining her marriage.
Rong Xia tells Ban Hua that he just cares for her. But she tells him that she cannot accept his caring. She says that she’s not a fool, and points out what he found wasn’t the fiancee of Shen Yu. He tells her that he just treats her as a friend.
