In the first episode of Chinese drama Be With You, Lin Weiling returns from New York. However, she faces lots of trouble since she is previous CEO of Heng Sheng group’s daughter. Her lover Hu Qianyu and her aunt Hu Xin dislike her comeback and want her to leave.
Be With You Recap: Episode 1
Lin Weiling (Xu Lu) lost her passport, she cannot get her luggage from custom. She begs officers, but they claim it’s their rule and let her contact her family. She calls Yao Yao (Mao Xiao Tong) but doesn’t get any reply, hence she has to call Hu Qianyu (Wilber Pan). Hu Qianyu and his lawyer arrive with her identification. She calls him older brother, but he blames for wasting his time. While she opens her luggage, he sees the crystal merry-go-round which he sent to her as birthday present.
He asks her why returning secretly in his car. She tells him she miss her family, but he thinks she is only interested in her shares and warns her she won’t get any buck if her intention is Hong Sheng. She thinks he misunderstood her and just wants to see home. He gives a check and a plane ticket letting her back to New York. She asks him why he didn’t arrive airport 5 years ago and why he dives her away. He tells her he didn’t want her returning and didn’t want to see her. She offs the car and runs, he is going to chase her, but lawyer reminds him the conference is beginning.
He opens her wallet and stares at her identity card which he sent someone to stole it from her in the plane. The conference is going to begin, but Heng Sheng’s CEO Hu Qianyu doesn’t appear. His assistant Wang Shuwei and technical director Li have to host the conference until Hu Qianyu arrives.
Two thieves steal Heng Sheng’s new product super vision. When they is going to be caught. One of thieves puts Wang Shuwang’s palms on his face and defames him hitting them. The reporters are watching it. At this time, Yao Junmo kisses the thief and exposes his lies.
Yao Yao picks Lin Weiling and sends her home. Lin Weiling calls home’s phone. The maid Aunt Mei picks it and is unhappy while she knows it’s Lin Weiling. She tells Hu Xin that the girl is thick-skinned. Hu Xin sees Lin Weiling while she is climbing house’s wall.
Hu Xin asks her son if Lin Weiling returned? Xu Qianyu says yes and tell his mother he let her back. Hu Xin persuades her son not to approach Lin Weiling and warns him not to forget his promise which she swore 5 years ago. He thinks she needn’t care about her as Qiu Zhixin is going to against them.
Lin Weiling cannot stay at hotels as she doesn’t have her identify card. Wang Shuwang watches her and reports it to his boss. Xu Qianyu takes her to the rooftop and lets her see the night of Shenzhen. He tells her she will face lots of problem if she keeps on staying here. She reveals she isn’t interested in shares but family. He kisses her and tells her his wish is her leaving.
In Heng Sheng group of office, Qiu Zhixin stats Lin Weiling’s previous CEO’s daughter and they cannot drive her away. He thinks they should arrange a position for her. Hu Qianyu tells his mother they should give her a chance of job interview to block Qiu Zhixin’s mouth. If she cannot pass the interview, she will leave.
