This is the recap for Begin Again Chinese Drama: Episode 2. Ling Rui returns home and cooks for his families. Aunt tells Ling Rui that she will be dead. Lu Fangning’s younger brother Lu Fangyu tells her that Ling Rui’s aunt Ling Yazhi owes him a huge debt. He adds that Ling Yazhi won’t repudiate the debt.

Ling Yazhi tells Ling Rui that she cannot repay the money, and asks him not to tell it to his mom. He comforts her that he will find a way. Lu Fangyu tells Lu Fangning that he appointed Ling Rui. She scolds him for lending money and asks him if he knows that she works hard. He promises to go to work and wants to be the cow for her and dad.
Lu Fangning asks Lu Fangyu about his mom. He says that he will fight for family property with her for his mom, and wants to make her feel the achievement when she wins him. She laughs and tells him to get lost. She takes a look at Ling Rui’s resume, and thinks he cannot run away from her.
Lu Fangning meets with Ling Rui. She smiles and tells him that she is the creditor of his aunt. He tells her that he wants to take all of the debt of his aunt. He adds that he needs some time because the amount is too huge. She says that she understands it, and tells him to get married with her so that he can offset some debts.
Lu Fangning says that she needs the marriage to deal with her family, and Ling Rui is suitable for it. But he rejects it and wants to leave. The girl shows up and asks Lu Fangning to apologize to her. Lu Fangning tells the girl Tang Ping that the place doesn’t welcome online celebrity. But Tang Ping claims she is a star and tells Lu Fangning not to be arrogant.
Tang Ping threatens not to let her dad vote for Lu Fangning. But Lu Fangning tells the security guard take away Tang Ping. President Tang shows up and explains that his daughter didn’t remember the location of his office. He wants to take her away. But she rejects it and wants Lu Fangning to apologize to her because she broke her arm.
Tang Ping tells President Tang not to vote for Lu Fangning. But he tells Lu Fangning that she will vote for her next time. Tang Ping is furious to hurt her dad. Ling Rui takes President Tang to have a seat, and tells him to go to hospital.
Tang Ping asks Ling Rui when he will be in the hospital. But Lu Fangning tells Ling Rui to leave. Tang Ping thinks Lu Fangning intends to do something since she summoned the handsome doctor there.
Peng Bo tells Ling Rui to go on the blind date with him. But Ling Rui rejects it. Peng Bo asks Ling Rui about the woman he saw, and thinks he needs some money. So he intends to wire the money to him. But Ling Rui rejects it. Peng Bo thinks it will be good if there is a female president marrying Ling Rui.
Lu Fangning does boxing and asks Gao Erfan about her negotiation skill. He says that there isn’t any contract she cannot get. She asks him if Ling Rui has a problem, and reveals Ling Rui disagreed when she gave him a big offer. He tells her that marriage isn’t a business, and asks her if she will be happy when a male wants to buy her marriage.
Lu Fangning says that she will be happy if the man does it. Gao Erfan tells Lu Fangning to show her true heart and enthusiasm to Ling Rui. Tang Ping waits for Ling Rui and tells him that she has something to tell him. But he wants to leave. She stops him and tries to give him the present she made for him. But he still wants to leave.
Tang Ping pretends to collapse. Lu Fangning catches Tang Ping, and tells her that Ling Rui is her man. Tang Ping points out that she hit Ling Rui first. Lu Fangning asks Tang Ping why she didn’t make a castle to lock Ling Rui up. The two have a fight.
Ling Rui goes to stop the two women. Tang Ping cries. Lu Fangning points out that Ling Rui can see Tang Ping’s acting. She tells Ling Rui that she wants to complete the topic they didn’t complete, and gives him the flowers. He tells her to follow him. Lu Fangning hints Tang Ping that Ling Rui likes her. Tang Ping yells at Lu Fangning that she is too arrogant.
Lu Fangning puts the flowers on the table and asks Ling Rui to marry her. But he wants to repay the money to her. She thinks he doesn’t have to do that, and knows that he gives all of money out to help people. She adds that she can help him once he marries her. But he rejects it as he doesn’t want to break his principle. He adds that marriage isn’t a deal, and there isn’t any shortcut.
Lu Fangning tells Ling Rui to sacrifice himself. He thanks her and tells her not to tell it to his family. He tells her to take the flowers back, and walks away. She thinks she wasted money and throws away the flowers.
President Tang tells Tang Ping not to go to company if she doesn’t have a business. He adds that he will die if she visits there again. She thinks he is sick, and begs him to go to hospital. She takes him to see Ling Rui and brings a cup of coffee to him. But Ling Rui rejects it. She cries and claims that it’s her heart. So he accepts it.
Tang Ping sends a photo of her and Ling Rui to Lu Fangning. Lu Fangning is furious to tell Gao Erfan to call Lawyer Zheng.
