This is the recap for Begin Again Chinese Drama: Episode 1. Lu Fangning wears the wedding dress to walk to Ling Rui. He holds flowers and waits for her. He gives the flowers to her, and tries to wear the ring for her. But she throws away the flowers and hugs him with smiling. She tells him that he belongs to her tonight.

Two Weeks Ago
Lu Fangning gets off the car and walks in the building. The followers bow to her. The guy runs to Lu Fangning and tells her that her younger brother applied to see her. But she rejects it and asks her younger brother to repay. The guy mentions President Lu asked her when she has time to go on blind date.
Lu Fangning stops and mentions she saw the female employee flirting with someone. The guy promises to fire the employee. But she tells him to just warn the girl.
The directors think Lu Fangning becomes the president because her first name is Lu. Lu Fangning breaks into the meeting room and tells the director to focus on their work. She leaves the office and thinks those directors are hypocrisy.
The assistant reminds Lu Fangning that there will be 16 votes against her plan. She is surprised that there is one vote supporting her. He points out that the vote belongs to her. She complains that why Xiao Yingzhi keeps absenting the meeting. He reveals Xiao Yingzhi just gave birth. So she intends to go to hospital.
Lu Fangning visits Xiao Yingzhi and flatters her that she’s pretty. She gets the assistant to take a photo of them, and thinks the baby is cute. Xiao Yingzhi thinks Lu Fangning has two faces. Lu Fangning intends to leave. Xiao Yingzhi tells Lu Fangning that she knows she came for voting. She tells her that she doesn’t agree to her plan because she thinks she cannot manage the brand.
Lu Fangning talks back that taking care of baby isn’t life. Xiao Yingzhi asks Lu Fangning to take a look at the baby as she thinks she won’t have the chance in the short time. Lu Fangning agrees to it and wants to see who made the devil give up the chance to earn money.
The baby catches Lu Fangning’s index finger so that she has to stay there. Xiao Yingzhi tells Lu Fangning to take care of her baby. She leaves the room. Lu Fangning takes back her index finger. The baby cries. Lu Fangning doesn’t know what to do. Ling Rui shows up and hugs the baby. He tells Lu Fangning to be careful as the baby is soft.
Lu Fangning falls for Ling Rui. He tells her to touch the baby. But she rejects it. He asks the baby if she is scary. The baby laughs. Lu Fangning smiles and has an eye contact with Ling Rui. Xiao Yingzhi takes a photo of the two. Ling Rui explains to Xiao Yingzhi that he came after hearing the baby’s crying. He leaves.
Xiao Yingzhi receives the photos the assistant just took, and asks Lu Fangning if she visited her for it. Lu Fangning takes a look at the photos and tells President Li that Xiao Yingzhi is fine. Xiao Yingzhi takes away the phone. Lu Fangning leaves the bank card and tells Xiao Yingzhi that it’s for the baby Chou Chou.
Xiao Yingzhi chases Lu Fangning. But Lu Fangning disappears after the nurse blocks Xiao Yingzhi’s way. Lu Fangning smiles while seeing Xiao Yingzhi, and texts the assistant that she will increase his salary.
Lu Fangning walks in Ling Rui’s office. He is getting changed. She sees his body and doesn’t wants to leave. He is close to her and asks her if she knows it’s his office. She reminds him that it was the fate to make her get into his office. She says that she can accept the phone number and Wechat account.
Ling Rui takes Lu Fangning to hide when the doctor looks for him. The doctor wants to take a look at inside. But Ling Rui stops him. The doctor pretends to leave but opens the curtain. He sees Ling Rui staying with Lu Fangning. She smiles to greet him. The doctor tells the two keep on going. He leaves.
Lu Fangning asks Ling Rui why he’s shy. She tells him what he meant is his muscle, and thanks him. He tells her not to come to his office casually. She explains that she just could control herself to take a look at the beautiful things. She apologizes to him.
Ling Rui tells Lu Fangning not to do that again, and thinks she will be hurt if she encounters someone else. He adds that girls need to learn to protect themselves when they’re outside. She thinks he’s very handsome, and leaves his office.
Lu Fangning encounters Gao Erfan and asks him if he saw angel. She asks him if she looks like the person who can be bullied. He asks her how many salaries she is going to increase. But she gives him a holiday because she needs to persuade the old man.
President Lu asks Lu Fangning what she wants to do, and mentions she kicked someone from her office. But she tells him that his wife gave him the wrong message, and claims she wouldn’t be rude to females. He laughs and says that he doesn’t know she is a female. She says that he doesn’t know it because he didn’t raised her.
President Lu tells Lu Fangning to get married. But she rejects it, and thinks she doesn’t have to get married because she is smart and rich. She adds that marriage won’t give her any benefit. He tells her that she isn’t a woman if she doesn’t get married. But she points out that he didn’t say such words when he told her the goal of the company. He reminds her that he has the right to reject her plan if she doesn’t get married in one year.
