Dream to You: Episode 4 Recap

Su-Bin and Yi-Jae walk on the street in Dream to You episode 4. Yi-Jae is drunk to sing. Su-Bin helps her before she falls. He thinks she didn’t walk well. She shakes off his hand. She asks him if he looks down on her after she was fired. He says he doesn’t mean it. He wants to know where she’s going. She says she wants to walk the same path like him. She wants to make movies with him.

Yi-Jae takes out the script from the bag. She almost falls into the water. Su-Bin grabs her. He drags her to his side. He hugs her.

The next day, Yi-Jae wakes up in the hotel room. She hits the bed. She thinks she’s insane. She asks herself what she lives for. She pushes Su-Bin into the bathroom when In-Wook enters the room. Water flow from the showerhead. Yi-Jae and Su-Bin get soaked. Su-Bin tells In-Wook that he’s taking a shower. In-Wook approaches the bathroom. He says he can tell that Su-Bin tries his best to take a shower. He reminds him that he will be in trouble if he passes out inside the bathroom.

In-Wook leaves. Su-Bin notices that Yi-Jae’s eyes are swollen. He wipes her face with a towel. She’s flustered to blame him for not telling her that he has a roommate. He says he did it. The guy lives next door. He asks her not to leave him. He thinks she forgets what happened next day.

Yi-Jae sits on the couch to wait for Su-Bin. He walks out of the bathroom. She mentions the girl runs away first in the situation. But she’s Joo Yi-Jae. He asks her if it’s the line that she prepared. She asks him how she came to the place. She only remembers she agreed to make movies with him. He needs to explain what happened later. He asks her if she blacked out later.

He doesn’t expect she was such a positive person. She’s nervous to ask him what she did. He tells her that she gave up her lease.

Yi-Jae returns to her house. Real Estate Agent is taking the clients to see the house. Su-Bin takes Yi-Jae to the company. The employees greet Yi-Jae. In the meeting room, Yi-Jae holds the seal. She cannot make the decision. Su-Bin asks her if the seal is very heavy. He says he was so when he signed a contract for the first time. But she needs to think about it from a different perspective.

If she disappears, people will know the protagonist of the story is her. Since she began it, she has right to end it. She wrote the script so that it should be filmed by her. The journey, he will accompany her until the very end. She nods. She takes the seal to sign the contract.

In-Wook shows up. He applauds. He introduces himself to Yi-Jae. He says he will try his best to provide assistance. Letting the two focus on the script writing. Su-Bin asks In-Wook about the studio. He says Yi-Jae doesn’t have a place to live. In-Wook learns the reason why Yi-Jae stays in the hotel. He mentions he saw a pair of shoes that he hadn’t seen. He and Yi-Jae meet for the first time. But the shoes are his old friends.

Yi-Jae realizes that she was caught. She apologizes to In-Wook. He tells her that she doesn’t have to apologize. The studio will be arranged in a quiet house in Busan. Because it was asked by Su-Bin. In-Wook asks Yi-Jae to live in the hotel before the studio is all tidied up. She says it’s fine. She can live in her friend’s house. But he cannot agree with it. Because she needs to write the script well. The hotel is more comfortable.

At the network, PD Kyung finds a guy to replace Yi-Jae. He thinks the guy Do-Young should have come early. He shakes hands with him. In-Wook shows up. He meets PD Kyung. He asks him to pay Yi-Jae the unpaid wages. The girl has signed with their company. He thinks he should thank him. He mentions he begged the girl to sign with them. PD Kyung tells In-Wook that he will confirm it and contact him. But In-Wook brings up that PD Kyung finds even his own job a hassle.

PD Kyung guesses Yi-Jae said so. He thinks she held a grudge and spread rumors everywhere. He tells In-Wook that he’s not such a person. In-Wook mentions what PD Kyung did to Yi-Jae. He claims that the Legal Team at his company is outstanding. He hands over the papers to PD Kyung.

At the hotel, Yi-Jae puts her laptop on the desk. She begins to work. Su-Bin asks her to treat it as a warm-up before she goes to the studio. He asks her not to force herself. She says the great environment burns the passion she lost. But her passion doesn’t come back after one hour. He puts some videotapes on the desk. He offers to watch some movies.

On the set, Ha-Na and the director are waiting for Sang-Yeon. The director complains it to Ha-Na that the guy is always late. She sees Sang-Yeon. The manager tells the director that Sang-Yeon isn’t ready. He asks him to wait for a while. The director scolds the manager. Sang-Yeon brings up that the director cooperated when Ha-Na had plans. He thinks he was just late. It’s not serious. He asks the director to get someone similar to stand there.

He calls Yu-Geon. He asks him to rehearse for him. Yu-Geon rehearses. The director praises Yu-Geon. He wants to work with him in his next movie. But Sang-Yeon isn’t happy with it. He asks Yu-Geon to go out with him.

Outside the studio, Sang-Yeon kicks Yu-Geon. He thinks he was mocking him. He mentions everyone calls him Box Office Flop. He asks him if he looks down on him as well. He knows it when he looks at his eyes. He must think the chance came. He wants to steal his position.

Yu-Geon reminds Sang-Yeon that he was the one who gave the job to him. Sang-Yeon pokes Yu-Geon’s forehead. He asks him who’s his backer. Ha-Na shows up. She claims that she’s Yu-Geon’s backer. She walks to Sang-Yeon. She kicks him. He asks her if she and Yu-Geon are such a relationship. She admits it. She blames him for touching her friend. He thinks she doesn’t have any friends. He mentions she didn’t go to school. She asks him if he watches “Ha-Na’s High School Life”. She takes Yu-Geon away.

In the evening at the hotel, Yi-Jae and Su-Bin watch the movie together. He has a dream that he holds her hand, and he takes her to run to the lighthouse. They laugh. He wakes up from the dream. She leans on his should, and she falls asleep. He lets her lean on the couch. He walks away. She wakes up. She sees him at the door. She pretends to sleep.

He comes back and he carries her. She looks at him. She continues to pretend to sleep. He laughs. He asks her if she wants him to continue. She denies it. She pushes him away. Her head is hit. He gives her his bed. He sleeps on the couch. She wonders why he sleeps at her place. He receives a message from In-Wook. He tells him that he won’t go back. He finds Yi-Jae’s hairband. He wears the hairband on his wrist.

The next day, Su-Bin returns when In-Wook is having breakfast. In-Wook notices the hairpin on Su-Bin’s wrist. He guesses Su-Bin didn’t sleep well. Su-Bin asks In-Wook if he has coffee.

Yi-Jae is writing in her room. She has no ideas. She goes out. She sits under the bridge. The two old men badmouth young people when they work out. They see Yi-Jae. They run away. She says she’s not idle. She’s just really upset. She takes out her cell phone. She calls Yu-Geon. She asks him about the event he talked about. She asks him if he found the person.

Yu-Geon takes Yi-Jae to the mall. He mentions she said she needed to write the script, and she wasn’t free. She asks him if he will come to star her movie. He reminds her that she knows he hates it. She shouldn’t recruit him even if it’s just a little role. She comforts him that she cannot play her role well. She prefers to come out to earn money.

He asks her if Su-Bin said something. She says she worried the guy would say something. So she’s avoiding him. Even if she comforts herself that it’s nothing, she cannot calm down. She worries Su-Bin will be disappointed in her. Yu-Geon can tell that Yi-Jae wants the guy to look at her with new respect.

At the hotel, Su-Bin visits Yi-Jae. He walks into her room. He discovers that she fled. Ha-Na walks out of her place with Chae-Yeon. She tries to get in the van. But she sees her mother who sits in the van. Su-Hee is checking the tablet. She asks Ha-Na if she doesn’t get in the van. Ha-Na gets in the van. The door of the van closes.

The van is driving down the road. Su-Hee shows Ha-Na the comment that the fan thinks Ha-Na and Sang-Yeon don’t get along well. She asks her if she thinks the audience are all idiots. She complains it to her that the CEO of Sang-Yeon’s company just scolded her. She begs her not to waste her time on the guy. Ha-Na claims that she should have resisted since the guy caused trouble.

Su-Bin arrives at the mall. Yu-Geon is selling perfume. But he doesn’t give perfume to Su-Bin. Su-Bin questions Yu-Geon why he didn’t do that. Yu-Geon has to hand over the perfume to Su-Bin. Su-Bin asks Yu-Geon to pretend that he’s very happy after he saw him. Yu-Geon claims he’s not happy very much. Su-Bin asks Yu-Geon if he cannot learn to be polite. Yu-Geon says it depends on Su-Bin’s behavior.

Ha-Na shows up. She sees Su-Bin and Yu-Geon. She mistakes Su-Bin for Yu-Geon’s manager. She asks Su-Bin why he spoke English when she auditioned. He explains it to her that he did it because they were in the United States. Now they’re in Korea. She asks Yu-Geon if the director is his friend. He denies it. He says Su-Bin is older than him. They were neighbors when they were kids. She persuades him not to be a friend of Su-Bin. She walks away.

Yu-Geon asks Su-Bin about him and Ha-Na’s relationship. Su-Bin asks Yu-Geon if he minds it. Yu-Geon admits it. Su-Bin says he’s a director, and Ha-Na is an actress. He asks Yu-Geon what kind of relationship they’re. They’re not neighbors.

Su-Bin walks forward. Yu-Geon stops Su-Bin. He asks him to buy a bottle of perfume for him. There’s a discount. Yi-Jae hosts the show. She introduces Ha-Na to the fans. Su-Bin sees Yi-Jae after he bought the perfume. He walks away.

In the evening, Yi-Jae walks out of the mall. She sees Su-Bin. She grabs a sheep head. She puts it on her head. He walks to her. He hands over the present to her. He tells her that he knows who she is and why she’s there. He walks away. She throws the sheep head at him. She tells him that he’s a fool. She thinks he should throw a fit. He knows she’s upset after she didn’t get a good result. She should be afraid. But it’s a matter of course. He’s afraid as well.

He thought about it many times. If it will make it harder for her. But they’re doing something great. He tells her that it’s not great that she makes an amazing movie. They will hang in there until the very end. It’s the great thing. Tomorrow is the day that they go to the studio. He asks her to think about it. He strokes her head. He walks away.

Yi-Jae returns to the hotel. She sits on the couch. She remembers Su-Bin’s words. She looks at the present that she opened on the table.

The next day, Su-Bin waits for Yi-Jae in the car at the parking lot. He tries to drive away. But she stops him. She tells him that she didn’t know he was there, and she looked for him for a long time. He tells her that she’s late. She asks him to open the trunk. He opens the trunk. He helps her carry her luggage into the trunk. She offers to go to do the great thing.

Su-Bin drives the car on the bridge. Yi-Jae looks out the car window. She thinks it’s beautiful. Yi-Jae returns home. She cleans her room. She puts her photo on the desk. In the evening, she and her family watch TV in the living room. She lies on the couch. Young-Jae tries to join her on the couch. But she kicks him off the couch. Hyun-Ok scolds Yi-Jae. Yi-Jae asks her mother what kind of person she wishes she will be. Hyun-Ok says she wants Yi-Jae to be a normal person.

Yi-Jae tells Hyun-Ok that she doesn’t ask her what they will have for dinner. Hyun-Ok says she cannot decide the kid’s life. She thinks it’s a good thing that Yi-Jae was fired. After all, she can get a good job soon. They don’t have to worry about food and clothing if Yi-Jae hosts celebration in the nation. Hyun-Ok offers to buy a car so that Yi-Jae doesn’t have to take bus.

But Yi-Jae tells her mother that she moved back to write script. She wants to challenge movie one more time. Hyun-Ok yells at Yi-Jae that it’s the thing that rich people are doing. Yi-Jae learns that Su-Bin can do it, but she cannot. Hyun-Ok mentions the guy made it in the United States. Yi-Jae says the guy’s father went against it. The father and son cut ties. But Hyun-Ok thinks Su-Bin had a way out so that he had the courage. Yi-Jae says she will decide her life on her own.

Hyun-Ok asks Yi-Jae if she did so because of Su-Bin. Yi-Jae says she wants to work with Su-Bin. She has signed the contract. Hyun-Ok is furious to throw the socks at Yi-Jae. She asks her if she’s crazy. She thinks she shouldn’t be with the guy. She reminds her that the guy caused her to go through it. Yi-Jae talks back that it wasn’t the guy’s fault. She thinks she should have abandoned her family and gone to pursue her own life.

The next day, Hyun-Ok walks into Yi-Jae’s room. She sees the bankbook Yi-Jae left. She opens the bankbook. She sees the deposit 100 million won. She’s shocked. Su-Bin walks out of his room. He sees Yi-Jae. He’s startled by her. She says she came in the morning. She ran away from home.

Su-Bin works with Yi-Jae. He tells her that they need to share each word they write. She feels so embarrassed. She doesn’t want to let the man know her heart. He comforts her that it’s nothing. They aren’t writing their diaries. He asks her if she wants to work out with him. She rejects it.

Sa-Rang arrives at the hotel. She calls Yi-Jae. She learns that Yi-Jae is working with Su-Bin. She asks her if she’s nervous. Yi-Jae claims that she’s Joo Yi-Jae. She won’t be bullied. Sa-Rang points out that the boy and girl live in the same house. She asks Yi-Jae what k-drama it is. It’s usually romantic k-drama.

Sa-Rang runs into In-Wook at the elevator. They get in the elevator. There’re too many people in the elevator. He bumps her. She finds out that her lipprint is on his shirt. She follows him out of the elevator. She writes her number on his shirt. She asks him to contact her. She will pay him Laundry Fees. She run away.

Sa-Rang goes on a blind date with the guy. He cuts the steak, and he gives the steak to her. He brings up that her parents are traveling around the world. He says it’s the ideal couple of his dreams. He wants to go to travel with his wife after he’s retired. He asks her if she’s interested in it. She says she likes football. She prefers to play football on her own. But he worries that she will be hurt.

Sa-Rang reapplies her lipstick. She thinks of In-Wook. She says goodbye to the guy. She tells him that she’s going to go to look for her man. She runs to Reception. She tries to ask her about the man. Reception refuses to leak it. But Sa-Rang describes the man on her own. Reception figures it out that the man Sa-Rang is looking for is In-Wook. She helps her find the man.

Sa-Rang greets In-Wook. She asks him if he wants to date her. He gets a call from Su-Bin. He calls him baby. Sa-Rang mistakes Su-Bin for In-Wook’s girlfriend. She’s sad to run away. Su-Bin is drinking coffee. He tells In-Wook that the first draft will be completed within two weeks. He takes a look at Yi-Jae who’s working hard.

In-Wook blames Su-Bin for abandoning him in the strange hotel. Su-Bin is surprised that In-Wook didn’t rent a house. In-Wook says rent is too expensive in Seoul. He just paid it with Su-Bin’s card. Su-Bin receives the bill that In-Wook spent 10 million won.

The next day, Yi-Jae gets a call from Team Leader Kim. Yi-Jae rejects the job. She turns off her cell phone. She goes back to her seat to work. In the evening, Yi-Jae has trouble writing. Su-Bin helps her. He thinks the male and female leads are going to have a kiss. She looks at him. She takes off his glasses. He asks her what she’s doing. She says the place is too dangerous. She runs outside.

It’s raining outside. Su-Bin calls Yi-Jae. Her phone was turned off. She’s in the pavilion. She remembers what he did to her. He runs in the rain with an umbrella. He’s looking for her. He finds her and he calls her name. She sees him. She says it’s the time to kiss. She runs to him, and she kisses him. She’s shocked to look at him after the kiss.
