Camille leaves the vault after she issued a statement that she should have killed Juliette for the world in Silo Season 3 episode 4. She contacts Emerson with her radio immediately. She asks her if she’s with the patient. Emerson is outside Juliette’s ward. She tells her boss where she is. Camille asks Emerson to deliver a message to Juliette’s nurse.

Camille returns to office of IT department. She sees her husband Robert. She asks him what he’s doing there. He says he thinks she might need some company. She doesn’t need his company as a tough wife. She wishes he will start the Judicial process for installing an interim mayor. He asks her if Juliette’s condition is that bad. She says the mayor won’t survive the night. She wants to meet him at home.
He knows Legacy wants to do the thing that it didn’t do three months ago. But the gas in the mines didn’t quite do the job. She says the gas in the mines was for Lukas Kyle. He’s surprised that the guy was in the mines. She says the guy fled. But the gas did get the mayor. He mentions the voice in there thinks it was a good thing. He said something heroic death and all. It could stop the need to put the drugs in the water. He will do it for her. But she says it has to be her. He understands it. But she doesn’t have to be alone.
In the ward, Juliette lies in the bed. She cannot movie. Her hands are tied. The nurse Amy asks Emerson when Camille will come. Amy says Camille is on her way. Camille wants Juliette’s unconscious when she arrives. Amy asks Emerson to hold Juliette down. Emerson walks to the bed. She holds Juliette down. Juliette asks Emerson what happened. Emerson comforts the mayor. But Juliette screams for help.
Amy is preparing the shot. She asks Emerson to keep Juliette quiet. Emerson takes off Juliette’s oxygen mask. She covers her mouth with a hand. Amy gives Emerson’s neck a shot. Emerson slaps Amy. Amy falls on the floor. She climbs forward. But Emerson grabs Amy’s leg. She lifts her and she tries to strangle her to death. But the medicine works. She passes out. Amy tells Juliette that they have to go.
It flashes back. Helen and Daniel leave Steve’s place. Daniel thinks they need to call someone. But Helen grabs his cell phone. She throws it at the ground. She breaks it with her heel. She reminds him that those guys just made a man disappear. They’re probably listening through their phones. He worries that Charlotte will call him. She tells him that he cannot call his sister. Those guys will be monitoring Charlotte’s calls. They have to leave the place.
She worries that her car is bugged or has a tracker. Someone made the man disappear. So they have to get somewhere safe. She knows somewhere. She asks him to wait for her. She asks him not to go home. She throws away her cell phone. She walks away.
At present, Shirley runs to Knox. She gives him a hug. She asks him if Juliette is fine. He doesn’t know. He tried to stay with Juliette. But those guys didn’t allow him to do that. She thinks she’s a bad girl. She reveals Juliette reached out to her for help. But she ignored her and she yelled at her. He tells her that she should blame herself. Because he was the one who left Juliette in the mines.
She asks him what happened to Juliette. He reveals Juliette went into the mines to save people. She’s not surprised that her friend would do that. She runs to the hospital. He chases her when he thinks those guys will stop her.
Camille and Robert arrive at the hospital. Camille opens the door. She walks into Juliette’s ward. But Juliette isn’t in the bed. She tries to wake up Emerson. But she fails. She discovers that the bodyguard has a pulse.
Amy takes Juliette to flee into the hallway. She gives an Oxygen Cylinder to her. So Juliette can breathe. Amy takes Juliette to continue to flee.
Sheriff and Policewoman walk into the morgue. Sheriff tells Forensic that he wants to confirm cause of death was rat poison. Forensic says he cannot do that. Sheriff asks Forensic if he needs more time. Forensic denies it. He says the dead wasn’t poisoned. He mentions the people’s lungs are fried. But hers are kitchen clean. Policewoman asks Forensic what happened. He says the dead was struck in the back of the head. He’s pretty sure that it was by a length of rebar.
There’s a ribbed pattern in the wound. By the pooling. It was couple days. Sheriff asks Policewoman where she found the dead. She says one of the search teams went down a closed-off tunnel, just to be sure. Found her way back. He thinks maybe she was there for some reason, and a ceiling caved in. Forensic explains it to Sheriff that he meant the dead didn’t die in the mines. He has seen many people dying in the mines. There’s always dust in the lungs.
Policewoman says the dead was never supposed to be found. Sheriff calls Deputy Murphy. He asks him to tell Carla McLain to meet him in Supply if he sees her. It’s about her shadow. Deputy Murphy figures it out that Sheriff found the girl.
It flashes back. Helen takes Daniel into the house. He knows it’s not her place. She asks him what he means. He says she drives a 30-year-old Saab. Not ironically. This is different. She tells him that she helped pick out the furniture for her ex, Palmer. He asks her if the guy is fine with her just coming in and out whenever she wants. She says Palmer is on assignment in South Sudan.
She asks him to take off his shoes. He takes off his shoes. He sees her photo on the wall. He says first thing he does when a relationship ends is bury all evidence deep in the earth. But the guy hung a giant photo of her up on his wall. She admits that Palmer isn’t such a petty person. He asks her if the guy is her type. She says it wasn’t a date.
He asks her if there’s any food. She asks him to help himself. She asks him where he went after they left Steve’s house. He says he walked around and tried to clear his mind. He asks her the same question. She says she went to the office. He doesn’t understand why she went to the office. He mentions she was fired. She says she kept her key card. She needed a computer. She did a bunch of searches on Steve’s address. Turns out, actually his name, Steven Price. Finally got what she thought was going to be his cell.
Recording said the number was not in use. He guesses it wasn’t Steven’s number. She called the number for the father of Charlotte’s squadron leader. The guy is Mr. Alameda. Recording said the number was not in use. Daniel says it was working the day before yesterday. He wonders who they’re dealing with. He wants to call the police. But Helen thinks those guys would make sure that goes nowhere.
She throws the bread on the table. She asks him to eat it. She wants to know their next move. He says they don’t have any move. He means, without the comms recording, they’re move-less. She mentions Steven said someone in Moldova recorded the unencrypted comms. If they could find out who that is, maybe they can get another recording. Leak it. But he thinks they cannot find someone they know nothing about.
He remembers the chess game at Steve’s house. She says it was weird. It’s like his whole mood shifted when his turn was up. There was something going on. He was, like, a couple of moves away from mate, and he just exposed his king. Maybe he was just distracted. She puts forward a hypothesis that the guy wasn’t playing to win. What if he was playing to communicate. She thinks it doesn’t matter what he meant. If they can find out who his opponent was, they may have another lead.
She just saw the tail end of his username. It was something “big foot lives.” Daniel thinks it’s ridiculous. They got him. He thinks Helen is good at it, Nancy Drew. But she doesn’t want him to call her that. He asks her if they called that at school? It’s a sore point? She tells him that he will find it out as long as he calls her that again. She will kill him in his sleep.
At present, Patrick walks into the room to meet Lukas. The Outsiders saved Lukas when he was chased by the guards. But they locked him up. Lukas learns that Patrick has looked for him. He tells him that he won’t like what he has to say. He mentions he and the Outsiders keep telling people it’s safe outside. He tells him that it isn’t. What they see on the screens in the cafeteria, that’s exactly what it’s like.
Patrick thinks those guys got to Lukas. No wonder they couldn’t find him. He was probably their guest in a big apartment up top. Lukas says he has been in the mines. But Patrick doesn’t believe it. He tells Lukas that he has seen the cleaning video. He knows that they’re lying. It’s a paradise out there. Lukas reveals the video gets put in the helmets so whoever they send outside actually cleans. Patrick asks the two Outsiders if they believe Lukas. The Outsider thinks Lukas didn’t have to lie.
Another Outsider enters the room. He reports it to Patrick that Raiders are looking for somebody. The level’s crawling. He closes the door and turns off the light. Lukas tells Patrick that whether he believes him or not, it doesn’t matter. Because of the three Outsiders. He didn’t take away by the raiders. They wanted him to meet him. He figured he owed them that. But he wants to leave now. Patrick asks Lukas to go back to his big pals up top.
Lukas tells Patrick that Juliette came looking for him in the mines. He wants to go to look for the mayor. But he’s stopped by the Outsider. The raider knocks at the door. He asks the people in the room to open the door. Patrick tells Lukas that he’s stuck with them.
Shirley runs to the hospital. But she’s stopped by the guard. He asks her to step back. She says her friend is in there. Fighting for her life. She needs to see her. He says the area is on lockdown. Nobody in or out. Shirley tries to break into the area. But Knox stops her. He tells her that they tried it. She worries that Juliette doesn’t make it, and they don’t get to see her. He tells her that she won’t see Juliette if she’s locked up for beating a raider.
He volunteers to talk to the raider. He introduces himself as the head of Mechanical to the raider. His friend there, she and the mayor have known each other since they were kids. She just wants to say hey, tell her she’s thinking of her, then she will leave. The raider knows Knox led the rebellion. Knox explains that he was down there in the generator room and he saw the gunpowder. The raider says he wants to lock Knox and his people up in the building with the gunpowder. He will light a match then. He asks Knox what he thinks. Knox thinks the raider is entitled to his opinion. He beats him. Other raiders surround Knox. They beat him.
Shirley catches the chance to enter the building. She hears the raider says that Mayor Nichols is somewhere on the level. She’s with the nurse. All the cameras in Medical were shut down. Robert asks the raiders to search the corridors. He needs them to be discreet.
Camille walks out of Juliette’s ward. She asks her husband why they missed it. They handpicked the nurse. She said she was loyal. She always followed orders. He says she did, until now. He thinks the nurse must have sensed why she was coming down. Camille tells Robert if they don’t get this done. He says they will. He knows the nurse’s file pretty well. If they get off this level, he has an idea where she might take Nichols. She has family down blow.
Camille asks Robert to send raiders. But he says they need to handle it quietly. He will get ahead of them. She tells him that this has to end tonight. He will take care of Juliette in person. They don’t know Shirley is eavesdropping on their conversation.
Robert walks to the raider Johnny. He asks him to keep off the radio if he finds Juliette and the nurse. Camille asks Johnny to send a message straight to her office. Robert says he has people on this level. He asks Johnny to send someone to levels above and below. And when Emerson wakes up, Camille wants anything useful she can remember.
Shirley whispers in Knox’s ear that Juliette is alive and she fled. She thinks Camille and Robert want Juliette dead. She decides to follow Robert. She gives Knox a kiss. Johnny asks Shirley not to talk to Knox. Knox is a prisoner now. If she doesn’t stay away from him, she will be a prisoner as well. Shirley walks away.
Juliette and Amy hide in the room. Juliette thinks they will be discovered as long as they go out. Amy says they won’t leave through the door. She basically grew up in Medical, and she found out a long time ago, someone got tired of going all the way to the stairs to get down to the next level. She opens a secret passage. Juliette takes a look at the passage. Amy asks Juliette to leave with her. But Juliette rejects it. Amy reminds Juliette that she’s the reason she started getting her memory back. She took her off the forgetting drugs. But Juliette thinks she spit them out. Amy agrees with what Juliette said. But, even before that, someone asked her to replace them. Juliette asks Amy who told her to do that. Amy doesn’t have time to explain it. She asks Juliette if she wants to leave with her or the raiders.
Sheriff visits Carla McLain in Supply. But he only sees a dog. He tries to touch the dog. The guy shows up. He says he thought he was the only one there. He comforts Sheriff that the dog is friendly. Sheriff introduces himself to the guy. The guy says they don’t get a lot of sheriffs visiting. Especially in the middle of the night. Sheriff tells the guy that he’s looking for Carla McLain. The guy reveals the lady hasn’t been up there for months.
He tries to leave. But Sheriff stops the guy. He asks him what’s his name. The guy says his name is Mike Davidson. Sheriff knows Mike is Orla Kent’s boyfriend. He got his name from her sister. Her sister is Sheila. Mike asks Sheriff if he found Orla. Sheriff denies it. He asks Mike when was the last time he saw her? Mike says here, at work. Just outside Critical Supply. Sheriff asks Mike what she talked about. Mike says she seemed good. She’d just been up at that council thing. She was on her way home. He didn’t go with her. He was too focused on giving the dog, Dandy there some exercise. The bay they were in was deep. It means he can throw the ball and give her a good run. They said goodbye and he hasn’t seen her since. Sheriff can tell that Mike doesn’t seem too worried. Mike explains that Orla is more independent than people think, family included. He’s sure that she has plenty of things she’s gotten into that even he doesn’t know about.
Amy and Juliette flee from the secret passage. They encounter the raiders. Amy says the raiders have moved on from Medical. She gives the Oxygen Cylinder to Juliette. She tells her that she will draw them away from her. When it’s safe, go to the pump room on seventy-six. Juliette tries to stop Amy. But Amy walks away.
Amy exposes herself. She’s caught by the raiders. She says Juliette has passed out in Medical. The raider asks her to show them. She’s taken away. Juliette catches the chance to run away.
It flashes back. Helen wakes up in the bed on the second floor. She doesn’t see Daniel. She goes downstairs to look for him. She mistakes that he ran. But he came back with a box. She tells him that she thought he chickened out. He guesses she missed him. He laughs. She asks him where he went. There’re black ops after them, and he thinks doughnuts. He says and bear claws. She thinks he’s an idiot. He reveals there’s a bodega around the corner. The owner wouldn’t let him use his phone unless he spent ten bucks, so breakfast.
She eats the doughnut. She mentions she told him they couldn’t call Charlotte. He says he didn’t call Charlotte. But she needs to get dressed, they have an appointment in an hour. They’re going to go to the Pentagon.
At present, Juliette finds the pump room on seventy-six. She gets in the room. She sees Robert. He tries to explain it to her. But she flees. She closes the door. Shirley shows up. She tells Juliette that Robert and Camille are trying to kill her. Juliette asks Shirley how she knew she was there. Shirley tells Juliette that they need to go down to Mechanical. They got places they can hide her. But Juliette wants to find Lukas first.
Shirley tells Juliette that Lukas is dead. Juliette doesn’t think so. She talked to Lukas. She saw him in the mines. She asks Shirley to take her where she took Lukas. Shirley tells Juliette that the Digger Void is sealed off. So Juliette asks Shirley to take her as far as she can. Shirley agrees. She runs away with Juliette.
It flashes back. Helen and Daniel are at the Pentagon. Daniel runs into Sam Ramsey. Daniel introduces Helen to Sam Ramsey. They go for a walk. Helen asks the two how they knew each other. Daniel says they served overseas. They were in a band. The Lost Boys. Sam Ramsey says Daniel used to shred on the sax, back before they became boring civil servants.
Daniel mentions Sam Ramsey can get to hang out at the Pentagon. He’s stuck at a call center, begging for votes. Sam Ramsey mistakes that Daniel wants him to hack into the voting machines, get him reelected. He thinks it’s a nice try. Daniel asks Sam Ramsey to help him find someone. The guy is a player in an online chess game. Helen tells Sam Ramsey that they have one player’s username, so they just need to find out who his opponent was.
But he thinks it’s not an official government business. Daniel tells Sam Ramsey that his sister Charlotte flew in the Iran operation. Her sortie went very wrong, but she’s only one of her squadron who survived. Daniel doesn’t know if his sister is fine. Her memory’s shot. Helen says Charlotte had concerns about the mission. They managed to track down a comms recording. They weren’t encrypted. They heard it. It’s just 20 seconds.
Sam Ramsey asks Daniel what exactly did he hear? Daniel says airplanes that were no longer controlled by their pilots. Helen says their contact’s gone missing, along with the recording. Daniel tells Sam Ramsey that something really happened on that mission. They have to find the recording. But Sam Ramsey doesn’t want to help Daniel access to military secrets. He reminds him that he has a sister as well. And a wife, and kids. And he pledged his allegiance. He signed so many secrecy documents. He has to take a lie detector test every six months. He says if it was his sister, he would want to know what happened as well. Of course she’s an insurance agent, so unlikely. If he ever wants to jam for old time’s sake, call him.
Sam Ramsey leaves. Daniel sees the guy was at Alameda’s funeral. Helen takes a look at the guy who’s walking to them. She tells Daniel that the guy was at her office the day she was fired. The guy says hello to the two. He offers to grab a coffee. He will buy the coffee.
At the cafe, Helen asks the guy what happened to our contact in Baltimore. Is he dead, or is he just off being tortured somewhere? He says Steven Price now occupies a highly coveted position at the Radford Group, a cybersecurity tank. He thinks Daniel was thinking of Senior Pilot Alameda’s father. After his son’s funeral, he received a very generous loan to bail out his brother’s woodworking shop in Tehachapi, California. He tells the two that they are endangering something very important.
Helen asks the guy what is his name. She wants to know who ruined her. He says he’s just a representative of people who have the ability to offer her a second chance. He thinks the Times was a dream job at one point. He has taken the liberty of contacting the editor. He’s open to meeting with her, despite her reputation for journalistic fraud. It would be a shame for her talent to go to waste over one mistake. She rejects it. Because he was the one who got her fired. He says all it takes is one phone call. He asks her to think about it.
Daniel thinks it’s call. He asks the guy what kind of cash and prizes is he gonna offer him? The guy tells Daniel that it’s not about him.
Daniel and Helen leave the cafe. He complains it to her that the guy threatens to withdraw care for Charlotte. But she thinks it wasn’t a threat. She mentions what the guy said that the level of trauma therapy the clinic provides is expensive. But he’s having a hard time seeing the difference. He’s a United States Congressman. He can get in front of cameras. He can tell them all they know. The Charlotte’s missing was a trap. She asks him if he can prove it.
He says he can subpoena the comms recording. She tells him that nothing will be found. He realizes that she wants to Times job. Maybe it’s time she opens up about her little problem with journalistic fraud. She tells him if he had gone beyond her LinkedIn profile, he would already know it. She admits that she wants a job at the Times. She thinks he’s a sanctimonious. But she also wants Charlotte to get the care that she needs. Charlotte is his sister, but she’s her source. He asks her what he’s supposed to do. Just supposed to go back to his cubicle? She hopes whatever he does, will he please keep his head down?
There will be eyes on them making sure that they got the message. Her ex is gone another week. She will hide in his house. She has to think. He decides to go to work. She says goodbye to him. She walks away.
Juliette and Shirley hide at the gap. She tells her that they had her on the pills, the medicine. Her brain was ruined. But she gets this feeling with people. Like with Knox. She doesn’t know why, but every time she sees him. Shirley brings up that Juliette and Knox didn’t always get along. Juliette tells Shirley that if someone would do anything to her, she would kill them.
Ossie shows up. Shirley tells him that she needs two to go down. He says chair team will be there soon. But she cannot wait. They’re not heavy. She trusts his arms. He sees Juliette. He recognizes her. Shirley asks the guy to tell the raiders that there’s an equipment problem if they come down. He agrees. He mentions they have been having issues with the pulleys jamming. Might take a while to get them free. But they’re seen by the Outsider.
The Outsider returns to the base. She reports it to Patrick that she went to tail Juliette. Juliette and the woman just went down the gap. The woman was Juliette’s friend Shirley. Lukas knows where Juliette is going. It’s not Mechanical. It’s deeper than that. It changes everything for everyone. He wants to go to stop her. He knows Patrick wants to know the truth. He offers to go ask Juliette.
Patrick mentions those guys got Juliette on the forgetting drugs. They didn’t even know who they were. Lukas tells Patrick that she would know it now. She knew who he was when she saw him in the mines. He asks Patrick how he will help him get Juliette. Patrick tells Lukas that he will it.
Glenda walks into her office. She finds out that Sheriff is in her office. He asks her if it’s her office. She says since the current shadow hasn’t shown for two days. McLain’s nowhere to be found. Someone’s gotta run this place. He asks her if she’s the person. She says she’s McLain’s former shadow, which makes her more qualified than anyone else. And unlike the current shadow, she has never missed a day of work. He knows she doesn’t like Orla Kent. She admits it. Because Orla took her job.
Sheriff asks Glenda if Orla took her boyfriend as well. She denies it. She says Mike thinks everyone has feelings for him. Sometimes he will go out of his ways to prove it. She was a little relieved after she lost her shadow job. Because maybe it gave her a chance to go home for a bit. He says that’s on 70. The mines. Ed Harwood is her father. The legend himself. She asks him if somebody in trouble for something? He asks her when was the last time she saw Orla Kent.
Juliette and Shirley go down the gap. Juliette stops. She says she knows the place. Shirley tells her friend that she used to come down here a lot. She had a boyfriend. Juliette remembers her boyfriend George. Juliette used to come down to the Void. She didn’t tell Shirley about him. But Shirley knew it. Juliette approaches the gate. She asks Shirley to hit the lights. Shirley does it. She opens the gate. She mentions Walker said she sealed it off. Clearly not. Shirley hears the sound. She goes to check who was the guy.

It flashes back. Daniel works in his office. He sees the news that Helen was fired after she admitted the news was fake. Sam contacts him. He tells him that he discovered something he wouldn’t believe. Daniel visits Helen. He tells her that Sam discovered something. He knows she doesn’t want to do it. But he cannot complete it on his own.
He takes her to the parking lot. She’s surprised that he drove a minivan. He says he rented it from a guy who advertised on lamp posts. It’s the closest thing he could get to inconspicuous. He suspects the guy stole the van. Daniel opens the door of the van for Helen. They drive away. At present, Juliette finds Bernard in the sealed Digger Void. He says hello to her.
