“Lost Promise” is a new Chinese historical drama which comes out in 2021. The drama tells a story about a demon king Boye Jingxing who’s caught by the master of martial arts world Jiang Yintian after he killed his master. But she becomes the concubine of Jiang Yintian’s grandson Jiang Qingliu. Because he’s actually a female which nobody knows it.
“Lost Promise” is adapted from Yidu Junhua’s novel “Rouge Debt”.
Yu Wenwen and Yang Yeming are the lead actors.
Yu Wenwen cast Chinese romance drama “One and a Half Summer” in 2014. She plays the role Shu Qing. She also cast “Twenty” in 2018. She played the role Xie Wenyi.
Yang Yeming starred Chinese supernatural drama “Dream Detective” in 2020. He played the role Guan Yuqi. He also starred “The Emergence of First Love” in 2019.

Summary
Jiang Yintian asks Boye Jingxing to tell him the arts of Five Honors. Because Jiang Qingliu is going to replace him to be the new master of martial arts world. She rejects it and thinks he killed his son Jiang Shaosang for the arts of Five Honors. Jiang Qingliu hears the talk.
Jiang Yintian senses that someone is outside. He forces the person to show up after he broke the wall. He finds out the person is Jiang Qingliu, and asks him for killing Boye Jingxing. Boye Jingxing tells Jiang Qingliu that she didn’t kill his father, and persuades him not to use martial arts because he looks uncomfortable. But he doesn’t put her words in his mind, and gets hurt when he fights with the woman of Yingyang Sect.
The doctor sees Jiang Qingliu and tells him to transfer his inner power into another person whose martial arts is better than him. He realizes that Boye Jingxing is the best person to cure his inner injury. Boye Jingxing needs him as well. She cannot move without his pills.

The killers hunt Boye Jingxing. But they get killed by her. Jiang Yintian takes off Boye Jingxing’s veil. He sees her real face. She tells the guy who fights with her that she will teach him Five Honors Arts if he doesn’t kill her. Jiang Yintian stuns Boye Jingxing.
Jiang Qingliu sneaks into the dungeon. He spots Boye Jingxing who’s tied by the chains. She tells him that the martial arts he practiced aren’t good. She teaches him how to practice it in the right way.
Jiang Yintian visits Boye Jingxing and asks her for teaching him the Five Honors Arts. Because Jiang Qingliu is going to replace him to be the next chief of martial arts world. He worries that she will hurt his grandson. He adds that he wants to practice the immortality arts like her.
Boye Jingxing asks Jiang Yintian if people know that he’s a jerk. He’s furious to grab her neck. She asks her if he worries that people will mock him if they know the thing. But he points out that people won’t believe in what she says.
