Empress Xuan thinks girls should be taken care of. She adds that it wrongs her to let her study in the palace. She thinks she lets her parents down if she cannot make her feel comfortable. Empress Xuan mentions what Ling Buyi said that Cheng Shaoshang likes to study craftsman drawings. She reveals that she asked Zhai Ao to prepare a desk.
Cheng Shaoshang takes a look at the desk. She mentions her mom never prepared it. She thinks Empress Xuan didn’t have to prepare it. Empress Xuan thinks Xiao Yuanyi is strict to Cheng Shaoshang because she’s a general. Cheng Shaoshang asks Empress Xuan if she blames her after she reported Wang Ling to Emperor.

Empress Xuan denies it. Cheng Shaoshang thinks Empress Xuan did it because she’s Ling Buyi’s wife. Empress Xuan tells Cheng Shaoshang that she wants to nice to her because she’s cute after she suffered a lot. Cheng Shaoshang thinks she brings trouble to Empress Xuan after she reported Wang Ling.
Empress Xuan thinks Cheng Shaoshang got bullied by Old Madam Cheng and Madam Ge because her parents didn’t stay with her. She leaks that she got bullied as well. She asks her if she knows why she likes her. Cheng Shaoshang gets on knees to Empress Xuan. She tells her that she knows it.
Ling Buyi asks Cheng Shaoshang if she reported Wang Ling for testing if Emperor Wen and Empress Xuan would take her side. She claims that she needs to know it because she’s going to live under Empress Xuan. He asks her if she knows Empress’s character.
Cheng Shaoshang thinks Empress Xuan is a good person. She adds that Empress Xuan took care of her when she didn’t know her personality. She thinks Empress Xuan is soft-hearted. Ling Buyi tells Cheng Shaoshang to ask him about it if she wants to know Emperor Wen and Empress Xuan’s personalities. Because he doesn’t want her to be hurt.
But Cheng Shaoshang wants Emperor Wen and Empress Xuan to know her personality. She claims that she doesn’t want to wait to be killed. He asks her if she wants to know what kind of person he is. He holds her hand and takes her to run to the city wall.
Cheng Shaoshang sees the stars. Ling Buyi leaks that he went to the city wall to see the lights and the stars. He adds that he wished there’s a light belonging to him. He asks her if she knows why he joined army. She thinks he
did it because he adored his uncle since he was a child.
Love Like the Galaxy Chinese Drama: Episode 29 Ending
Episode 29 of Love Like the Galaxy ends with Ling Buyi telling Madam Wenxiu to leave palace with him. She mentions Cheng Shaoshang didn’t care for her life for guarding Empress Xuan. He talks back that she cares for her brother more than her daughter. She thinks he doesn’t understand what she did because he’s heartless.
Madam Wenxiu mentions his father Prince Qianan was killed because Emperor Wen asked him to rescue Gu City. She leaks that Marquis Yue told Prince Qianan that there’s a miasma. But Prince Qianan ignored what Marquis Yue said. He took his followers to get into the miasma.
