Houmo Chenyue talks back what he asks is Cui Shiyi. He asks her to let him know her feelings. She tells him that she doesn’t have any engagement. But she confesses that she has feelings for someone. She tells him to leave. She turns around and sees Zhou Shengchen. She runs away.
Zhou Shengchen remembers he promised Queen that he won’t get married. The teacher joins Zhou Shengchen. He asks him if he regrets for the promise. He tells him that he wishes to get true answer. It’s raining. The teacher thinks the heaven wants to keep Zhou Shengchen and Cui Shiyi.

Cui Shiyi lies in the bed. She cannot fall asleep. She hears the student’s voice. She learns that Zhou Shengchen came back. He takes a look at her house. He’s close to the door when she stands in front of the door. He tries to leave. She tells him that she doesn’t sleep.
Cui Shiyi opens the door. Zhou Shengchen wonders she didn’t sleep. She tells him that she worried that he would trip so that she waited for him in the house. He claims that the mountain path wasn’t hard to him because he’s a soldier. She tells him to sleep early. She closes the door. He places the umbrella on the door. He guards her. She writes something in the house.
The teacher walks to Zhou Shengchen. He asks him if he hasn’t slept all night. Zhou Shengchen thinks he has to wait for several years if he wants to watch the night rain of the academy. He leaves the academy with Cui Shiyi. The student stops Zhou Shengchen. He mentions what his teacher said that he stayed outside the lady’s house to watch the rain for one night ever like he did.
Cui Shiyi is surprised to take a look at Zhou Shengchen. The student tells Zhou Shengchen that his teacher got married with the lady later. The teacher Huan Yu shows up behind Zhou Shengchen and Cui Shiyi. He thanks Cui Shiyi for giving him the books when he pays respect to her.
Cui Shiyi smiles at Huan Yu. She thinks she will see him if they have the chance. Huan Yu believes that they will have the chance. Huan Yu walks into Cui Shiyi’s room with his student. He sees the lotus painting. He takes a look at the lotus painting.
The student wonders where the lotus come from because there’s no lotus pool in the academy. Huang Yu smiles. He thinks the lotus is in Cui Shiyi’s heart. He thinks the painting is worth a lot of money if Cui Shiyi gets together with Zhou Shengchen.
Cui Shiyi and Zhou Shengchen take the boat. Boatman mistakes them as couple. Cui Shiyi tries to deny their love relationship. Zhou Shengchen asks Boatman for the interesting stories. Boatman mentions the beauty Xi Sho got thrown into water after she has saved her nation.
Cui Shiyi thinks Xi Shi just took the boat to travel the world with someone she loves. Boatman thinks Cui Shiyi likes happy endings. Zhou Shengchen tells Boatman not to talk about bad endings. Boatman intends to talk about heroes.
Cui Shiyi thinks Boatman wants to talk about Mr. Zhou and Red Cliff. He laughs to reveal Little South City Prince and the prince of South Xiao built a tower to invite heroes to talk about peace. Cui Shiyi thinks what Boatman wants to say is Border Tower. She adds that the five heroes had left the promise that they won’t attack each other after they ruined the power. Boatman agrees to what Cui Shiyi said. He gets her to take a look at the tower.
It flashes back. Zhou Shengchen tells Cui Shiyi that he built the Border Tower. He wishes her to take a look at the tower. She thinks what he did will be good for people. He tries to hand over the battle report to her. She’s happy to take it. But he doesn’t give the battle report to her. He complains that she hasn’t prepared birthday present for him. He asks her to call her name when he comes back next time. She smiles to nod.
Monk picks Zhou Shengchen up. He mentions he almost offended the emperor of South Xiao for him. The people laugh. Cui Shiyi turns around. She sees Xie Yun. She greets him. Xie Yun tells her that he would help her cross the river if his legs aren’t broken. She smiles to nod.
Cui Feng rides his horse to arrive with his bodyguards. He feels guilty for his late. He tells Cui Shiyi that he would take his army to go to save them if they didn’t come back. He takes a look at Hong Xiaoyu. Hong Xiaoyu avoids him.
Cui Feng walks to Xie Yun. He asks him about his legs. Xie Yun mentions Cui Feng likes to be sad. Xie Yun’s follower tells Cui Feng not to be sad. Zhou Shengchen offers to take a look at the city which Cui Feng guarded with his life. Xie Yun agrees to it.
Zhou Shengchen mentions it’s Cui Shiyi’s wish to go to Shouyang. Xie Yun thinks Zhou Shengchen cares for Cui Shiyi very much. Boatman cries to tell Zhou Shengchen that his army saved the lives of his village. He gets on knees to him. He tells him that he doesn’t regret it after he saw him. Zhou Shengchen helps Boatman get up.
Why The Prince Insists on Letting Huai Yang Live with him?
The servant brings the noodles to the prince. He reveals the noodles was cooked by Huai Yang. He mentions Huai Yang thought the prince should eat noodles on his birthday. The prince thinks he should listen to Huai Yang to be healthy.
The prince takes the noodles. He thinks the noodles are more delicious than what the servants cooked. He adds that there should be a princess in the palace. The servant thinks the prince talked without shy again. He mentions the lady just lives in the palace for some days.
The prince asks the servant if Huai Yang doesn’t have feelings for him. The servant thinks Huai Yang doesn’t look like an ordinary lady even if she’s poor. He tells the prince to take a look at himself in the mirror when he feels happy. He runs away. The prince throws a fit to the servant. He thinks he didn’t respect him.
The prince takes a look at himself in the mirror. He thinks he’s very handsome. He complains that the mirror is too small. He throws away the mirror when Huai Yang visits him. She greets him and asks him if he found the house which she can live.
The prince denies it. He claims that there’s no empty house except his palace. He asks Huai Yang if he’s actually a terrible man who makes her not wish to live with him. She denies it. She reveals she worries that she will bring trouble to him.
The princess tells Huai Yang that he wishes to see her every day. He tells her to live in his palace. He walks away. She smiles. Cui Feng tells the guests that his palace is too small. Xing Hua shows up. She blames Cui Feng for not telling her about the coming of the guests.

Zhou Shengchen tells Cui Feng to take him to the meeting room. He leaves with Cui Feng. Xie Yun thinks Cui Feng and Xing Hua aren’t like couple. He asks Cui Shiyi if the two got along like that in Cui family. Cui Shiyi reveals she didn’t live with Cui Feng and Xing Hua.
Xie Yin sighs. He thinks princess’s husband isn’t an easy job. Cui Shiyi tells Hong Xiaoyu that she wants to accompany her to sleep. Hong Xiaoyu thinks Cui Shiyi is worrying about her. She tells her to go to listen to the meeting.
Cui Shiyi takes over the tea from the maid. She thinks she has more experience than her. Cui Shiyi brings the tea to Zhou Shengchen. Xing Hao asks Cui Shiyi about her maid. Cui Shishi explains that she worried that the maid cannot do the job well. Zhou Shengchen asks Xing Hua if what she said is Cui Feng’s intention. Cui Feng denies it. He tells Zhou Shengchen that he doesn’t want to go to center state.
Xing Hua asks Cui Feng if he wants to guard Shouyang all his life. He admits it and tells his life that he loves Shouyang very much. He mentions he guarded the city before he got married. He mentions his oath that he guards the city until he cannot pull sword and get on horse.
Xing Hua asks Cui Feng if his future baby is more important than Shouyang. She tells him that she wants to return to center state because she had grown up from the place since childhood. She leaves the meeting room. The maid reminds Xing Hua that she cannot explain it after she said such words. She points out that the doctor will know it if he sees her.
The maid wonders why Xing Hua cares for the person who stays in the city of center state since she has gotten married. Xing Hua reveals the man wrote a letter to her that he will help her get rid of the marriage if she comes back. She asks her to let the doctor say that she has a baby.
The maid sighs. She mentions Cui Feng respect Xing Hua even if he doesn’t have feelings for her. She wonders Xing Hua why she doesn’t care for Cui Feng. She thinks she will make Cui Feng fall for her if she works hard. Xing Hua thinks Cui Feng is a good person. But she finds out that Cui Feng shows up behind her.
The maid greets Cui Feng. He thinks she knows Xing Hua wouldn’t have his baby. She doesn’t know how to explain it. She has to walk away. He walks to her and thinks the ugly thing happened because he didn’t care for her after the wedding.
Cui Feng tells Xing Hua that the baby must be named Cui. He tells her that he won’t ask her about the baby’s father. He adds that she can get a divorce with him after she gives a birth to the baby if she wants to do that. He tries to leave. She stops him. He thinks they had a wrong marriage because they had been played by the fate. He tells her that he doesn’t want to see her.
Cui Shiyi runs into Cui Feng. She asks him if he made the decision. He admits it. He tells her that he will come back after he escorts Xing Hua to Center State. He goes to see Zhou Shengchen with her. He tells the people that he wants to escort his wife to Center State because she’s pregnant. The people congratulate him.
Hong Xiaoyu is shocked to look at Cui Feng. She congratulates him. She thinks the general of Shouyang should be replaced. Cui Feng rejects it. He thinks he will come back after he escorts Xing Hua. Monk points out that Queen will blame Cui Feng if Cui Feng lets Xing Hua take care of the baby on her own in the palace.
Zhou Shengchen agrees to what Monk said. He tells Hong Xiaoyu to stay in the city because she guarded the city with Cui Feng ever. Cui Feng hands over the tiger symbol to Hong Xiaoyu. He tells her that he leaves the city to her. She promises to guard the city with her life.
Does Zhou Shengchen Regret for His Promise?
Cui Feng sighs when he looks at the sky. Cui Shiyi walks out of his house. She greets him. He tells her that Shouyang is like his second hometown. She comforts him that he can come back once Xing Hua gives birth. He mentions Hong Xiaoyu left the city after she had lived with him for three years. He feels sorry for sharing the sadness past with her.
Cui Shiyi thinks Cui Feng can only speak the words to her. She tells him to speak it more. He sees Hong Xiaoyu. He smiles to ask Cui Shiyi to tell Hong Xiaoyu to send the victory report to him. He claims that he can only feel relieved when he sees the victory report.
Hong Xiaoyu hears what Cui Feng said. She runs away after she saw Zhou Shengchen. Cui Feng walks to Zhou Shengchen. He greets him. Zhou Shengchen tells Cui Feng to leave because he knows he’s very busy. Monk walks away because he thinks Zhou Shengchen and Cui Shiyi wish to have a talk alone.
Zhou Shengchen tells Cui Shiyi that he doesn’t expect that he took her to Shouyang made her feel sad more. She asks him if she should give up when she knows she cannot get together with the man she loves. He’s silent. It makes her believe that he doesn’t know what to do. Zhou Shengchen mentions he didn’t know how to answer Huang Yu when he asked him the same question. But he tells Cui Shiyi that Boatman reminded him that each of his choice is worth of it. She’s in tears.

Episode 13 of One and Only Chinese Drama ends with Zhou Shengchen and his followers arriving at Dragon Temple. Cui Shiyi mentions the hall had been built when they came. Feng Qiao tells Monk that she gave up him and came to the place.
