Feng En thinks it wouldn’t happen if he didn’t take part in the examination. Crown Prince doesn’t blame Feng En, and he just wishes him not to leave. Because he cannot stand the leaving of relative anymore.
The farce ends, and Crown Prince has to get Zhao Sou to take the duties.
Qi Prince’s grandpa arrives in capital, and he meets with Qi Prince and Bo Zhou. Chang Ping shows up, and he has been Bo Zbou’s follower. The plot of the examination came from Chang Ping, and Bo Zhou praises Cheng Ping.
Chang Ping visits Zhao Sou, and Zhao Sou reveals Chang Ping is the son of his previous master.
Feng En wants Crown Prince to accompany him to take a look at the ranking. But Crown Prince doesn’t want to go because he still remembers the unpleasant of the examination. So Feng En tricks Crown Prince that Wen Pu will take Wen Xi to look at the ranking.
Crown Prince agrees to it and he looks for Wen Xi. But Feng En tells Crown Prince that Wen Xi didn’t come. Crown Prince is furious to chase Feng En and wants to beat him.
Shao Yun thought he is with talent but his name doesn’t show up on the ranking. Feng En teases Shao Yun that it will be a joke if Shao Yun can take the ranking. Shao Yun takes the revenge on Wen Pu, and gets someone to push Wen Pu into the pond.
Crown Prince takes Wen Pu out of the pond, but Shao Yun yells that his sister will be the future crown princess. He adds that it’s Si Lin’s intent. Crown Prince rages to kick Shao Yun into water.
Shi Yu learns that Si Lin wants to marry Lu Zheng’s daughter to Crown Prince. Because Si Lin sees that only Lu Zheng doesn’t join Bo Zhou. So Crown Prince must become the relative of Lu Zheng.
Crown Prince doesn’t know if the rumor of marriage is real or not. He remembers Lu Zheng is Shi Yu’s student, so he visits Shi Yu’s house. Crown Prince sees Wen Xi helping Shi Yu bask books, and she is very beautiful while standing under the sun.
Crown Prince has a talk with Wen Xi when they’re separated by the screen. He doesn’t see her real face, but he falls for her. He wishes to travel with her one day when she talks about the beautiful scenery she has seen.
Shi Yu doesn’t want Lu Zheng’s daughter to become crown princess, because Lu Zheng is a jerk and he will be the obstacle of Crown Prince when he becomes the father-in-law. Shi Yu has a suitable candidate and she is Wen Xi.
Shi Yu has recommended Wen Xi as crown princess to Emperor, and he looks at outside, which Wen Xi and Crown Prince become friends.
