This is first episode of SKY Castle Korean Drama Recap, Seo-Jin treats Young-Jae in the SKY Castle and asks his mother Myung-Joo for the tips how she got her son into the medical school. But Myung-Joo doesn’t reveal it until she knows Seo-Jin uses same bank with her.
SKY Castle Korean Drama Recap: Episode 1

Seo-Jin calls Jin-Hee about the party while driving her daughter Ye-Seo. Jin-Hee is excited and wakes his husband Yang-Woo up, but he claims he treated 4 patients last night. So she asks him to drink the medicine.
Seung-Hye is scared to tell her husband Min-Hyuk about the party, but he gets angry that Seo-Jin beat his wife again. He cancels the golf meeting with Mr. Kim. She tries to explain to him that she will keep her pride, but he doesn’t trust her.
Ye-Seo is excited to talk with her mother in the car that she will achieve her goal like Young Jae. Seo-Jin asks her husband to wear the coat, but Joon-Sang doesn’t want to follow her order and thinks they don’t have to treat Young Jae. But Seo-Jin reveals join the medical school with exam and she wants to know everything about the child.

Ye-Seo gives double salary to the violinist but she asks her to keep secret of what she hears in the party. Seung-Hye and Min-Hyuk arrive at the SKY Castle. Min-Hyuk praises Seo-Jin about the meal, but she claims it’s tradition of SKY Castle to treat the kid who entered university. But Seung-Hye says that she didn’t hear the tradition. Jin-Hee and Yang-Woo arrive, she feels sorry for their late, and sees Joon-Sang and his daughter Ye-Bin dressing up samurai. She thinks Seo-Jin will be tired of father and daughter.
Ye-Seo shows up at the hall but Seung-Hye and Min-Hyuk sit the vip seats which she prepared for her families. She isn’t happy and mocks Joon-Sang that he went to hike. Kim Jung-Nan and Soo-Chang takes Young Jae arriving, so everyone applauds to welcome them. Meanwhile, Min-Hyuk asks Myung-Joo for some tips to Seung-Hye. Seo-Jin and Joon-Sang are not happy about that. So Myung-Joo says that Seung-Hye is great lady who doesn’t need any tip.
Ye-Bin asks Young-Jae why he wanted to go to the medical university since he has to kill many rabbits and mice. He reveals that he did it for his mother. Ye-Seo wants to be his assistant, he asks her why she wants to go to medical school. Ki-Joon answers that she does it for her mom as well. Jin-Hee reveals Soo-Chang confessed his love to Myung-Joo because of Young-Jae. Soo-Chang hugs his son and gives gifts to his wife. Min-Hyuk invites Seung-Hye to dance, but Soo-Chang thinks the song is too slow and asks the violinist to change it.
Joon-Sang thinks Seo-Jin wasted the money in the party, but she thinks he lacks strategy when it comes to Ye-Seo’s future. Myung-Joo hits a nice shot at the golf course, Seo-Jin asks her to have lunch together. But Myung-Joo says that she needs to meet her mother and leaves. Seung-Hye follows her. Seo-Jin thinks Myung-Joo rejects her because Min-Hyuk helped Young-Jae. Seung-Hye walks Myung-Joo and asks for some tips, Seo-Jin sends message to Myung-Joo and wants a talk. So Myung-Joo gets them together and thinks Seo-Jin and Seung-Hye can help each other. Seo-Jin thinks Seung-Hye betrayed her, Seung-Hye isn’t happy either.
Yang-Woo scolds the assistants for didn’t come up with the brief of the book. Joon-Sang steps into the office, and asks Yang-Woo to hand over the book. Yang-Woo reads it because of the book club and points out Joon-Sang attended it as well. But Joon-Sang reveals he attended to defeat Min-Hyuk, and gets a call from Soo-Chang.
Soo-Chang tells Joon-Sang that he is going to set the spine and Joint center, and he will the the director. Joon-Sang is excited and wants to treats Soo-Chang with wine. Soo-Chang rubs his gun and asks his wife why she rejected Seo-Jin. She says that she doesn’t want to reveal Young-Jae’s personal life to Seo-Jin. He is furious after knowing she wrote down everthing about their son. Young-Jae takes out the tablet from the drawer and cancels the password.
Jin-Hee thinks Myung-Joo made the deal with Seung-Hye. Seo-Jin doesn’t think so because she is her best friend. Jin-Hee asks Seo-Jin if she gives it up. Min-Hyuk thinks Seung-Hye didn’t try her best to persuade Myung-Joo, and reveals he wrote admission essay for Young-Jae.
Myung-Joo goes outside and blame her son that he didn’t say goodbye to her, Young-Jae says he thought she was asleep. She laughs and hugs her son. Just then Seung-Hye and Seo-Jin arrive, and tell Myung-Joo that they have something to her. Seo-Jin downloads some music and movies which Myung-Joo can use on the cruise ship. Seung-Hye prepares some tips for Myung-Joo. Seo-Jin suggests Myung-Joo to give them a simple list. But Myung-Joo refuses it, but they them the secrets to get her son into SNU. She asks them what bank they use. Seo-Jin says Hannam Bank. Seung-Hye says Seodong Bank. Myung-Joo smiles and gives the Hannam vvip invitation card to Seo-Jin.
Seo-Jin takes the card and arrives at the Hannam Bank. But Seung-Hye is there as well. Seo-Jin is curious since she is the only one got the invitation. Min-Hyuk gave the vvip invitation card to Seung-Hye, and asked her to get Young-Jae’s coach. The MC introduces the first coach, who got 60 students accepted to medical school. Seung-Hye messages it to her husband. Seo-Jin remembers Myung-Joo told her the important is whether the coach has the ability to get her kid accepted, and Young-Jae’s coach was SNU’s admission officer.
MC announces the last candidate, Seung-Hye is nervous. But the coach only gets two people each year. Seo-Jin remembers Myung-Joo’s words that she needed to make the coach want her. Seo-Jin chooses the seventh coach, Seung-Hye cannot make the decision and chooses the first one. But Min-Hyuk messages Seung-Hye.
Seo-Jin waits with other two ladies in the lounge, Seung-Hye breaks into. Seo-Jin gets a call from Ye-Seo who thrills that she got in the school as the top student. Seo-Jin is happy but she asks her daughter to tell the good news to Joon-Sang. Seo-Joon and Ki-Joon ride bicycles almost hitting Ye-Seo. She thinks they were jealous of her. Joo-Young arrives and claims she will drop 2 mothers since there are 4 ladies. She dislikes the first lady because she has a job and thinks mother and daughter are in same team. She also blames Seung-Hye who didn’t hire tutors for her daughter. But she likes Seo-Jin who thinks her daughter’s success is important than her.
Jin-Hee chases her son Soo-Han because the essay he wrote. He flees to Ye-Bin’s house and asks her to leave home together. But she asks him to be her minion. Seo-Jin asks her mother-in-law Madam Yoon for money, but Madam Yoon says that she gave up her. So Seo-Jin is on her knees and promises to get Ye-Seo to the medical school. Madam Yoon gives her the last chance. Joo-Young checks Woo-Joo’s documents and asks Seo-Jin to be friends of Soo-Im and Chi-Young, and thinks the competition is good for Ye-Seo.
Soo-Im is buying ox blood at the market and gets a text from Seo-Jin, who asks for meet. Seo-Jin complains to Jin-Hee that Soo-Im didn’t text her back. Min-Hyuk host the book meeting, Ye-Seo defeats his son Seo-Joon in the subject of selfishness. He complains it to Seung-Hye. She thinks he needs to hire a coach instead of teaching in person. He gets angry that he did it for her father.
Seo-Jin and Jin-Hee visits Myung-Joo who boasts the place she visited and gives them the gifts the porcelain of pretty woman. Myung-Joo looks tired and sad. She walks barefoot in the snow day, and commits suicide with his husband’s gun. Seo-Jin wakes up while hearing the gunfire.
