This is the recap for The Long Ballad Chinese Drama: Episode 9. Li Leyan asks the old man if he’s fine. He tells her that he needs water. She tries to take water for him, but gets kidnapped. Wang Junkuo tells Li Changge that he killed Lujiang Prince because he tried to rebel.

Li Changge is surprised that Wang Junkuo killed his master for saving himself. He asks her for her mercy. She asks him about Wei Shuyu. He tells her that Li Yuan hurt Wei Shuyu, and the person is treated himself in the room. She runs to see Wei Shuyu. Wang Junkuo reports to the general Shen Gu that Li Changge is Li Jiancheng’s daughter. But Shen Gu takes down Wang Junkuo.
Wei Shuyu is surprised to see Li Changge. She tells him that Li Leyan is waiting for him in the hotel. He wonders why Wang Junkuo released him and got a doctor to see him. She tells him that Hao Du lighted the torch and Shen Gu came. She adds that Wang Junkuo killed his master for his life.

Li Changge tells Wei Shuyu to take care of Li Leyan well. She wants to leave. But he stops her and thinks Hao Du will hunt her if she takes Crown Prince Seal. She stuns him and thinks she just took away the stuff which belongs to her.
Hao Du takes the bodyguards to see Shen Gu. Shen Gu tells Hao Du that Envoy Wei helped them. Hao Du bursts into the palace to catch Li Changge. But he finds out that the person is a kid. Li Changge dresses up to be a bodyguard. She leaves with Shen Gu.
Hao Du wakes Wei Shuyu up. Wei Shuyu asks Hao Du about Li Changge. He wants to take back the stuff. Hao Du tells Wei Shuyu to go to catch Li Changge with him. Li Changge pays her respect to Shen Gu. She thanks him for saving her. But he doesn’t dare to accept her bowing because he knows she’s Yongning Princess.
Li Changge tells Shen Gu to leave with him because she thinks Li Shimin won’t forgive him. But he rejects it. She tells him that she has Crown Prince Seal. He tells her that he’s the general of Big Tang even if he was the follower of Crown Prince. He adds that his duty is to protect the land of You State.
Li Change thinks she has no place to stay except You State. Shen Gu tells her to go to Shuo State. Hao Du wants to hunt Li Changge. But Shen Gu blocks his way. Hao Du blames Shen Gu for releasing the royal criminal. But Shen Gu claims that his duty is not to let any agent flee.
Hao Du tells Wei Shuyu to flee alone. He fights with Shen Gu. Wei Shuyu blocks Li Changge’s way. He tells her that he will accompany her no matter what happens.
