This is first episode of Chinese drama Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy, Shuofeng Heye saves a dying man and takes him into his tribe, disaster strikes.
Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy Recap – Episode 1
Fortuneteller climbs mountains and drinks water from a pool, Shuofeng Heye shoots him stopping him from drinking and tells him he shouldn’t drink too fast. He takes him into Shuofeng tribe and is going to let him to be his slave, but his mother Longge Danzhu thinks fortuneteller isn’t lucky as he doesn’t comes from Hanzhou grassland. Shuofeng Heye wants to get outside information from this man. Longge Danzhu uses salt water to treat fortuneteller and tells Shuofeng Heye he has to get his father’s permission if he wants him staying here.

Shuo Fengda is back with his hunting hobby, his wife welcomes him. However, Muru cavalry comes with their hunting man. Longge Danzhu complaints to Shuo Fengda that hunting bobbies are less and less even if they go out to hunt more and more. He tells her he approached black forest to hunt animal without any result.

Shuofeng Heye feeds fortuneteller and asks his name. He tells him his name is Zhu Aqi and wants to go to black forest as empire is going to be destroyed. Shuofeng Heye takes him to visit his father. Shuo Fengda lets his son throw him away and thinks he is useless after checking his body. Zhu Aqi tells Shuo Fengda that their misfortune are because of Emperor Ming of Duan’s Sixth Prince Muyun Sheng. When Shuo Fengda is going to cut his tongue, Muru cavalry enters tribe.
Shuofeng Heye opposes cavalry with a stick, but they are tough with sharp sword. While they are going to kill him, Shuo Fengda begs them forgiving his son. They ties him up and burns him, confiscating Shuofeng tribe’s property because they harboured criminal.
People blame Shuofeng Heye as he brought disaster. He goes to chase Muru cavalry, robbing sheep, but his father stops his stupid action. Shuo Fengda tells him his forefathers Kua Fu defeated Human clan on the land, but they lost their soldiers of elite, defeated by Muyun and Muru families and separated into eight tribes three hundred years ago. He hopes his son can unite the eight tribes to oppose human clan in the future.
Shuo Fengda gathers people in Shuofeng tribe and announces he is going to attack Suqin tribe’s territory which belonged to them. He lets them eat all of meats they own and just leave bones and death bodies to Muru family. They burns their houses before setting out.
Shuo Fengda saves Helan Dao from enemies. Helan tribe joins Shuofeng tribe since then. Shuofeng Heye discovers Suqin tribe’s territory and reports it to his father. Shuo Fengda gives his son the battle axe which was made by Kua Fu’s leg bone. He hopes Shuofeng Heye can lead Shuofeng family living a better life.
Shuofeng family attacks Suqin family in the morning, Shuofeng Heye takes the lead killing a person with his battle axe.
