This is the Review for Twinkling Watermelon: Episode 9. Eun-Gyeol wonders why Eun-Yu wishes him to eat the dish. She asks him to eat the dish because she thinks he has feelings for her. But she stops him when he intends to eat the food.
What Happens In Twinkling Watermelon Episode 9?
Eun-Yu walks on the street. Eun-Gyeol asks her to give him an answer to his confession. She tells him that he’s a dog to her. She walks away. He’s confused. She returns home. She wonders why she didn’t check it when she points at the food.
She remembers her mother told her that she realized the guy was her first love when he sang a song for her at the festival. She realizes that the one who sang a song for her mother was her mother’s first love. She decides to watch Eun-Gyeol and Yi-Chan.
Eun-Gyeol walks into Chung-A’s room. He decides to begin the lesson. But she throws the pillow to him. He wonders why she threw a fit to him. She leaves her room. He picks up her notebook. He finds out that she likes Yi-Chan. She grabs her notebook back. She pushes him out of her room.
Eun-Gyeol returns to his room. He’s surprised that his mother liked his father. He thinks he would choose another method if he knew it. He regrets for provoking his father. Yi-Chan calls Eun-Gyeol. He asks him to come to the restaurant.
Eun-Gyeol arrives at the restaurant. Yi-Chan is waiting for him. He tells him that he’s going to kill him. He tries to open the wine. But he’s hit by the restaurant owner. The wine is taken away. Yi-Chan asks the restaurant owner for a bowl of noodles.
The band members eat up the noodles. The bowl is empty when Eun-Gyeol wants to eat the noodles. Eun-Gyeol asks Yi-Chan not to see Se-Kyung before the festival. He thinks he’s going to defeat him. Yi-Chan laughs. He reveals his skill was improved when Eun-Gyeol was missing.
Hyun-Yul thinks Yi-Chan won’t lose because the winner will be decided by Se-Kyung. Yi-Chan makes a deal with Eun-Gyeol even if he will be sad for not seeing Se-Kyung. He walks out of the restaurant with him. He tells him that he has known he became Chung-A’s teacher.
Eun-Gyeol explains to Yi-Chan that he did it because Gun-Hyeong wished him to help his daughter. Yi-Chan thinks it’s not a bad idea because Eun-Gyeol can earn some money. Eun-Gyeol asks Yi-Chan if Yang-Hee is fine. Yang-Hee is happy when she sees Eun-Gyeol.
She blames Yi-Chan for not telling her that he invited Eun-Gyeol. She feels sorry for not preparing some good food. She prepares the food for Eun-Gyeol. She thinks the family’s food is better than her food. But he tells her that he likes her food.
She feels happy after she heard what he said. She tells Yi-Chan to go to get some tea. He leaves the room. She asks Eun-Gyeol to teach Yi-Chan because she worries that Yi-Chan will be like his father. She promises to pay him well like the rich family.
He reveals he stayed in the family for Yi-Chan. He promises to come back after he completed his task. He leaves her house. He asks Yi-Chan if he had a fight for him. Yi-Chan claims that he didn’t do it for Eun-Gyeol. Eun-Gyeol wonders why Yi-Chan went to the hospital.
Yi-Chan claims that he went to the hospital for the good food. Eun-Gyeol realizes that Yi-Chan went to the hospital. He asks him if he was hurt. Yi-Chan tells Eun-Gyeol that he’s fine. He asks him to thank Chung-A for him. He reveals the girl saved his life.
Eun-Gyeol wonders why Chung-A saved Yi-Chan. Yi-Chan tries to leave when he gets a message from Ma-Joo. Eun-Gyeol persuades Yi-Chan to go to thank Chung-A with him. But he rejects it. Eun-Gyeol is on the bus. He remembers what his father told him that he fell for his mother because she told him sign language. He decides to stop the accident.
Eun-Yu takes out the suitcase. She gets changed and she thinks she’s the queen of the school. She shows up in the school. The boys chase her. Sang-A stops Eun-Yu. She blames her for not calling her since she has come back. Eun-Yu is confused because she doesn’t know who Sang-A is.
She takes a look at her name tag. She remembers Sang-A was the lady who gave her mother hard time. She explains to her that she was kidding when she fanned her tears. Sang-A blames Eun-Yu for hurting her. She thinks they’re not best friends.
But Eun-Yu points out that Chung-A is her best friend. Sang-A is furious to yell at Eun-Yu. Eun-Gyeol walks into the classroom. He joins Chung-A. He reports to her that he’s going to go to the teacher’s office. But she’s cold to him. He has to leave a message to her that he’s going to help her. He leaves the classroom.
He sees Se-Kyung. He wonders why she’s in the school. He remembers Yi-Chan told him that he will kill him if he sees Se-Kyung on his own. Eun-Yu walks to Eun-Gyeol. But he flees. It makes her chase him. Ma-Joo breaks into the classroom. He reports to Yi-Chan that Se-Kyung is going to come to the school.
Yi-Chan worries that Se-Kyung will see Eun-Gyeol each day. Ma-Joo reveals the two are chasing each other. Yi-Chan thinks the only way to defeat Eun-Gyeol is to practice. So he goes to the band house. But he finds out that the boys took his room.
The boy reveals the teacher gave the room to them. Yi-Chan finds the teacher. He complains to him that he didn’t tell it to him. The teacher claims that he has no choice because it was decided by the Guidance Committee. Yi-Chan thinks the teacher did it for disbanding them.
He hugs his leg and he asks him to return the band room to him. But the teacher rejects it. Yi-Chan and his boys are outside the band house. Everybody is upset. Hyun-Yul is happy to walk out of the band house. He tells Yi-Chan to go to look for the treasure with him.
Does Eun-Gyeol Test Eun-Yu’s Skill?
Eun-Gyeol is writing the apology letter in the teacher’s office. Eun-Yu finds him. He gives the letter to the teacher. He flees. The girl watches Eun-Yu and Eun-Gyeol chase each other. She thinks the two like each other. But another girl thinks Eun-Yu is going to kill Eun-Gyeol.
Eun-Yu blocks Eun-Gyeol’s way with a broom. She casts the broom to him when he runs away. He trips and she catches him. She mentions he told everyone that he likes her. She blames him for humiliating her. She asks him why he ran. He explains to her that he promised Yi-Chan not to see her until the festival.
He asks her to cooperate with him. She’s furious to blame him for playing with her. She realizes that she owns the ball. She thinks she can do anything she wants. She’s happy to walk away. He gets a message from Ma-Joo. He calls him.
Ma-Joo reveals he found a new band room. He asks Eun-Gyeol not to tell it to outsiders. But Eun-Gyeol tells it to Chung-A. He takes her to the band room. But he sees Se-Kyung. He asks Yi-Chan to explain it. He mentions outsiders aren’t allowed.
Yi-Chan points out that Chung-A is an outsider as well. Eun-Gyeol takes him to leave the band room. Eun-Yu greets Chung-A. Chung-A finds out that Eun-Yu knows sign language. Eun-Gyeol mentions Yi-Chan promised him not to see Se-Kyung.
He reveals he tried his best to avoid Se-Kyung. He claims that he took Chung-A to the band house because she’s a designer. Yi-Chan talks back that he let Se-Kyung join the band because she’s a photographer. But Eun-Gyeol knows Yi-Chan did it because of his feelings for Se-Kyung. The two have a fight.
Eun-Gyeol returns to the band room. He finds out that Se-Kyung is welcomed by the boys after they knew she’s good at sign language. He holds Se-Kyung’s hand and he tries to take her away. But Yi-Chan takes off their hands. Eun-Gyeol tells Se-Kyung that he’s going to test her skill because he heard she’s a photographer. She agrees to get tested. She leaves with him.
The boys leave. They tell Yi-Chan to test Chung-A’s skill. Eun-Gyeol walks Eun-Yu out of the band house. He asks her for the key of her scooter. She gives her key to him after knowing he does it for testing her. Yi-Chan thanks Chung-A for saving him. He begins to check her drawings.

Eun-Gyeol rides the scooter in the field. He’s very happy when Eun-Yu doesn’t know where she’s going to go. He reveals he did it for making the chance for his parents. But the scooter stops because it’s lack of gas. Eun-Yu is furious to shake Eun-Gyeol. Yi-Chan finds his drawing from Chung-A’s drawing. She takes her drawings back.
Twinkling Watermelon Episode 9 Review
Episode 9 of Twinkling Watermelon arranges a fair competition for Eun-Gyeol and Yi-Chan after Eun-Gyeol told everybody that he likes Se-Kyung. The two boys promise not to see Se-Kyung before the festival. But Eun-Gyeol breaks the promise because Se-Kyung comes to the school. The episode is full of funny moments. Seol In-A’s acting is pretty good. Her acting is improved after she starred K-Drama A Business Proposal.
