This is the Review for Twinkling Watermelon: Episode 1. The firefighter carries the kid out of the burning house. Eun-Gyeol’s father goes to check the kid. He finds out that the kid isn’t Eun-Gyeol. He asks the firefighter about his another child.
Does Yi-Chan Fall for Se-Kyung?
But the firefighter tells Eun-Gyeol’s father that there’s nobody in the house. Eun-Gyeol’s father runs into the house to look for Eun-Gyeol. He doesn’t find him. He’s hurt by the burning stuff. Eun-Gyeol returns home. He finds out that his house is on fire.
He drops his guitar and joins his mother. His mother cries to beat him. He asks her about his brother. She reveals his brother was send to hospital and his father went to the house to look for him. He remembers his father told him that he will save him first because he’s the only one who can let others help them.
Eun-Gyeol cries. Eun-Gyeol’s father is carried out of the house. Eun-Gyeol tears up when he sees his father. His father passes out. He’s sent to hospital. Byung-Ho’s mother visits Eun-Gyeol’s father in the ward. She blames him for setting a fire in her house.
Eun-Gyeol’s mother explains to the madam that the one who set a fire wan’t her. But the madam tells her to move out. Eun-Gyeol hears the talk. He tears up. His family decides to move out. His father asks him if he forgets something when they’re going to leave.
Eun-Gyeol denies it. He turns around and takes a look at the guitar. He asks his father to wait for him for a while. He goes to Grandpa Viva’s music store. He finds out that Grandpa Viva passed out. He cries. Se-Kyung’s daughter takes a look at him.
Se-Kyung turns the music store into a house. She takes her daughter to the house. Eun-Gyeol practices with Eun-Ho in the gym. He tells the coach that he wishes his brother to get a medal. He takes Eun-Ho to the cafe. He tells him to work hard. But he finds out that he has a new girlfriend.
He grabs the phone from him. He asks him about the girl. Eun-Ho reveals the girl is a pretty deaf. Se-Kyung walks into the ice cream store. Yi-Chan tries to serve her. But he falls for her. Eun-Gyeol thinks the girl told a lie to his brother that she’s a deaf.
Eun-Ho admits it. He thinks the girl did it for making him fall for her. Eun-Gyeol wonders how did the girl talk with Eun-Ho. Eun-Ho reveals they talked through the notes. Their mother sends messages to them. She asks them to come out.
Yi-Chan shows the ice cream to Se-Kyung. She’s not happy because it’s not what she ordered. He reveals he added his love in the ice cream. He carries the ice cream to her table. Ma-Joo shows up. He tells Yi-Chan to run because his grandma is going to come.
Yi-Chan is shocked. He runs out of the ice cream store. He runs into his grandma. She’s furious to chase him because he fooled her that he would study. Eun-Ho and Eun-Gyeol arrive at the restaurant. Eun-Gyeol asks his mother what happened. His mother points at his father who’s bragging about his son to his friends. His father drinks the wine. He passes out.
Twinkling Watermelon: Episode 1 Review
Episode 1 of Twinkling Watermelon lets Eun-Gyeol’s family move to a new place after the fire accident. Eun-Gyeol persuades his brother to study. But Eun-Ho works hard on his new girlfriend. Yi-Chan falls for Se-Kyung in another world. Eun-Gyeol and Yi-Chan’s worlds are different. It confuses us. But the episode doesn’t explain it. It leaves many questions to us.
