Why Dongfang Qingcang Wishes to Accept the Punishment of Frost Salt Nail?

Die Yi asks Jie Li if she treats Orchid as her good sister after she has lurked for a long time. Jie Li denies it. She tells Die Yi that she’s faithful to her and Rong Hao. Die Yi tells Jie Li that Shang Que and Orchid won’t be nice to her if they find out that she’s a spy.
Die Yi thinks Jie Li ate up the antidote Rong Hao gave her. She disappears before Shang Que shows up. Shang Que’s happy to see Jie Li. He tells the bodyguards to leave. Jie Li tells Shang Que that she went to the woods to hide treasure.

Shang Que tells Jie Li that she doesn’t have to hide treasure. Because he will protect her. But she doesn’t believe what he said. She asks him how he will protect her if Dongfang Qingcang sends her to dig stones. He tells her that he will accompany her to dig stones.
Jie Li thinks Shang Que won’t be nice to her if he finds out that she tricked him. He tells her that he wants to be tricked by her. She walks away. He chases her. Jie Li walks into Orchid’s room when Orchid falls asleep. She remembers Die Yi told her to take Orchid to get out of moon palace after she ate the poison.
Jie Li drops the blood into Orchid’s bone bracelet. She tears up and tries to touch Orchid’s hair. But she gives up the mind. She leaves her room. Orchid takes the lantern to walk to the love bridge. Dongfang Qingcang is happy to walk out of his palace. But he sees Xun Feng and the chancellors.
Xun Feng asks Dongfang Qingcang if he’s going to see Orchid. Dongfang Qingcang ignores Xun Feng. He tries to leave. But the chancellor asks Dongfang Qingcang to break up with Orchid. Dongfang Qingcang reminds Xun Feng that he has been killed if Orchid didn’t find the truth of their father.
Dongfang Qingcang tells Xun Feng that he’s going to marry Orchid. He adds that he wants to prepare a wedding for Orchid. He tells the chancellors to respect Orchid like they did to him. He reveals Orchid treats Moon clan as her family as well.
Dongfang Qingcang tells chancellors that only Orchid can be the queen of Moon clan. He tells them that he agrees to accept the punishment of Frost Salt Nail because he didn’t save the soldiers of Moon clan. Xun Feng tears up. He tells Dongfang Qingcang to give up the mind.
Xun Feng reminds Dongfang Qingcang that he will get the pain all the time if he accepts the punishment of Frost Salt Nail. Dongfang Qingcang swears not to take out the nail if the soldiers of Moon Clan don’t come back. He tells his followers that the moon empress has to be Orchid.
How Does Orchid Know Dongfang Qingcang Accepted the Punishment of Frost Salt Nail for Her?
Orchid waits for Dongfang Qingcang on the lovesick bridge. The moon rises. The follower takes off Dongfang Qingcang’s crown. He puts the nails into Dongfang Qingcang’s head. Dongfang Qingcang walks to the bridge to see Orchid. She smiles.
Orchid runs into Dongfang Qingcang’s arms. She hugs him and asks him that she mistook that he wouldn’t come. He mentions what he said that he won’t tell a lie to her. She kisses him and offers to go to hang the lock. He agrees to it. But he passes out.
Shang Que drags Orchid out of the room. She takes off his hand and asks him why he doesn’t allow her to be close to Dongfang Qingcang. He mentions Dongfang Qingcang asked him to take her away. She rejects it. So he carries her away.
Orchid asks Shang Que why anyone can get into Dongfang Qingcang’s room except her. He refuses to tell her the reason. She asks him if they’re friends. He admits it. She mentions Dongfang Qingcang passed out in front of her. She blames Shang Que for letting her see Dongfang Qingcang.
Shang Que tells Orchid not to give him hard time. She asks him to tell her the reason since Dongfang Qingcang didn’t tell it to her. He reveals Dongfang Qingcang accpeted the punishment of Frost Salt Nail for going to see her.
Shang Que tells Orchid that Dongfang Qingcang didn’t want her to get into his room because he didn’t want her to see the looks of him. Orchid is in tears. She wonders why Dongfang Qingcang had to do so. Shang Que tells Orchid that the punishment is the cost that Dongfang Qingcang gets together with her.
Orchid gets Shang Que’s point. She decides to wait for Dongfang Qingcang. Dongfang Qingcang drives the maids away because he cannot bear the pain. He falls off the bed and climbs to the balcony. He yells when it’s thundering outside.
Dongfang Qingcang walks to Orchid. He covers her with his cape when she falls asleep. She wakes up and sees him. She’s happy to hug him. She asks him if he’s fine. He shakes his head and takes her to the palace. He lets the maids show the treasure to her.
Orchid stops the maid. She asks Dongfang Qingcang why he let her see them. He takes a look at Shang Que. Shang Que leaves with the maids. Dongfang Qingcang hands over the treasure key to Orchid. He tells her that the key can open all of the treasure banks. He adds that they all belong to her.
How Does Orchid Make a Proposal to Dongfang Qingcang? Why Xun Feng is Against Dongfang Qingcang and Orchid’s Marriage?
Orchid tells Dongfang Qingcang that he won’t die. She mentions what Shang Que said that Frost Salt Nail only causes pain. He calms her down. He tells her that she has something to tell her. But she wants to tell something to him first.
Orchid hands over the grass bracelet to Dongfang Qingcang. She tells him that she weaved it on her own. She asks him if he agrees to be her husband. She promises to be nice to him. She adds that she will only love him all her life. She tells him that she will accompany him no matter what happens.
Orchid asks Dongfang Qingcang if he doesn’t want to be her husband. He wears the grass bracelet. She’s moved. She tries to kiss him. But Xun Feng stops the two. He tells Dongfang Qingcang that he cannot get married with Orchid. He thinks Moon Empress shouldn’t be a fairy.
Dongfang Qingcang holds Orchid’s hand. He tries to take her away. Xun Feng shows the badge of primogenitor Salt Woman to Dongfang Qingcang. He mentions Salt Woman made the rule that Moon Clan cannot get married with Immortal Clan after she was betrayed by Immortal Clan. He adds that the one who wants to get married should get into Fuju Cave.
Xun Feng thinks they didn’t got killed because they didn’t forget the revenge. He asks Dongfang Qingcang if he intends to forget the revenge for a fairy. He thinks Orchid doesn’t like Dongfang Qingcang at all because she’s not moved when she knows Dongfang Qingcang is going to bring trouble.
Xun Feng tells Orchid that she used heart spell to connect her with Dongfang Qingcang. He thinks she let Dongfang Qingcang in danger. Dongfang Qingcang ignores Xun Feng. He takes Orchid away. Dongfang Qingcang is furious to tell the chancellors that he wants to repeal the ancestral rule.
South King reminds Dongfang Qingcang that the rule was made by Salt Woman. North King agrees to what South King said that there’s no precedent. Dongfang Qingcang tells the two kings that he wants to do the precedent. He tells them that he will kill the one who mentions the rule.
Orchid walks into the palace. She tells Dongfang Qingcang that she agrees to get into Fuju Cave. Because she wants to get together with him. He tells her not to do it for him. She tells him that she does it not just for him. She thinks the revenge won’t end if she doesn’t do something.
Orchid tells Dongfang Qingcang that she wants to let the wheels of revenge hurt her. She wishes to let Moon Clan see her sincerity. She thinks she cannot be Moon Empress if she cannot bear the revenge. Dongfang Qingcang doesn’t want to talk about it with Orchid no matter what she says.

Episode 28 of Love Between Fairy and Devil ends with Orchid letting Dongfang Qingcang drink the wine she prepared. She tries to leave. He holds her hand to keep her. She walks into Fuju Cave. She takes a look at the statue. The guards open the gate of the statue. Orchid walks into the statue.
