This is the recap for Chinese drama Ancient Love Poetry: Episode 23. Gold Dragon casts the fireball to Jing Zhao and blows her away. Zi Han recognizes Gold Dragon. But Tian Qi tells Zi Han that the Gold Dragon is just a incomplete soul of Hong Ri.
Gold Dragon Scolds Jing Jian

Gold Dragon tells the people to leave because they offended the prestige of god. Jing Jian explains that they didn’t intend to offend Bai Jue. He tells Gold Dragon not to stop him because he represents Heaven Palace. Gold Dragon tells Jing Jian that Gold Spear will only choose the destined master.
Jing Yuan thinks he will know if Qing Mu is Bai Jue or not. Because Gold Dragon and Gold Spear are there. He says that people don’t know that the normal monsters cannot touch the weapon of True God. Jing Zhao tells Gold Dragon that she will forgive him if he hands over Gold Spear to her.
Qing Mu Is Accepted by Gold Spear
Gold Dragon rejects it and drags Qing Mu to the stage. Jing Yuan is surprised that Bai Jue is still alive since god realm has been ruined. Hou Chi flies to save Qing Mu. But she fails. She tells Feng Ran that they should part Qing Mu and Gold Spear.
Jing Zhao tells Jing Jian that she doesn’t want to live alone if Qing Mu dies. But Jing Jian doesn’t know what to do.
The Battle of Heaven Clan and Monster Clan
Zi Han wonders why Qing Mu doesn’t have the memories of Bai Jue. Jing Yuan thinks Bai Jue got himself an immortal body before God Realm was closed. The monster clan wants to rob Gold Spear before they worry that Gold Spear will accept Qing Mu as his master. Jing Zhao gets heaven clan to fight with monster clan.
Hou Chi tells Feng Ran that they will take Qing Mu away after he gets Gold Spear. Feng Ran claims that she won’t get Qing Mu hurt because he’s the man Hou Chi cares for. But Hou Chi says that she wants to help Qing Mu because he’s her benefactor.
Hou Chi Wants To Protect Qing Mu
Hou Chi worries that she will get Qingchi Palace involved. But Feng Ran wants to show the real power of Qingchi Palace. Jing Zhao gets hurt by Gold Dragon. Jing Jian goes to help his sister. He tells her not to fight with Gold Dragon.
Jing Zhao tells Jing Jian that she doesn’t fear Gold Dragon because she has Phoenix Fan which was given by her mother. She kills Gold Dragon. Hong Ri says goodbye to Bai Jue. He feels guilty for not completing the entrusting of him.
Bai Jue Wakes Up
Bai Jue absorbs Gold Spear and asks people who killed his god pet. Heavenly Emperor senses the power. He thinks it comes from True God. Jing Zhao tells Qing Mu that she spent some time to help him get rid of Gold Dragon. Bai Jue thinks he shouldn’t forgive Jing Zhao. He lifts her up with his power.
Hou Chi greets Bai Jue. He recognizes her and drags her to be close to him. He hugs her and asks her if she’s fine. She asks him if he knows her. He tells her that he never forgets her. Mu Guang shows up and asks Bai Jue to release Jing Zhao and Jing Jian.
Bai Jue Leaves
Hou Chi reminds Bai Jue that Qing Mu cannot live in the three realms if he kills the two. Bai Jue touches Hou Chi’s face. He leaves. Mu Guang tells Monster Clan to leave Heaven Realm because Gold Spear accepted Qing Mu as his master.
Mu Guang takes a look at Hou Chi. He says that he’s surprised that she has grown up. But she thinks he wouldn’t be surprised because Heaven Palace sent her gifts each year. She adds that the happiness of her father isn’t related to Heaven Palace.
Mu Guang Asks For A Talk To Gu Jun
Mo Guang invites Hou Chi to attend the birthday party of her mother. She rejects it. He wants to visit her father after he comes back. He regrets for letting immortals and monsters fight.
Zi Han walks Jing Yuan and asks for getting rid of Qing Mu because he knew that Qing Mu is Bai Jue. But Jing Yuan claims that he didn’t say such words. Zi Han is surprised and points out that Jing Yuan kept saying to kill Bai Jue after he woke up.
Jing Yuan Plans to Make Hou Chi Fall For Him
Jing Yuan seals Zi Han’s mouth. He admits that he hates Bai Jue. He says that he will visit Qingchi Palace and make Hou Chi fall for him again.
Feng Ran treats Qing Mu. He tells Hou Chi that Qing Mu’s body is weak because he was possessed by Gold Spear. Hou Chi asks Chang Que to bring some herbs to Qing Mu. But Chang Que points out that Gu Jun won’t be happy because Qing Mu belongs to Heaven Clan.
Hou Chi Keeps Qing Mu
Feng Ran scolds Chang Que for not listening to Hou Chi. He goes to take the herbs with him. Hou Chi takes a look at Qing Mu. She swears not to ignore it because he got hurt because of her. She grabs his hands and tells him that Qingchi Palace will protect him.
Chang Que reminds Feng Ran that Qing Mu will bring troubles to Qingchi Palace because he was the one who took Gold Spear. Feng Ran points out that Hou Chi keeps Qing Mu because she has feelings for him. Hou Chi remembers what Bai Jue told to her. She wonders why he knew her. She decides to go to check the books in Bo Xuan’s room. Jing Yuan asks Hou Chi why she’s so late because he waited for her for a long time.
