In the 17-18th episodes of Ever Night Chinese Drama Recap, Chen Pipi asks Ning Que to pass the test of second floor and becomes Fu Zi’s personal student. But Ning Que isn’t confident. Long Qing arrives at Tang Empire, Sang Sang and other ladies welcome him, but he thinks they’re disgusting.

It snows, Xia Hou takes his troop to attack camp of Yan army and kills 300 persons. Lin Ling thinks Emperor Tang will scold them, but Xia Hou knows Emperor Tang is kindness and allowed him to live many years.
Emperor Tang calls calligraphy masters in the capital to court, and asks them to write the sentence “Flower blooms at the shore”. But he gets nothing. Li Qingshan thinks the person is a young warrior. Xu Chongshan worries they find Ning Que, so he thinks he is a old man. Emperor Tang begs Li Qingshan to find the culprit.

Cao Zhifeng announces a good news to students that the examination of second floor will begin next month, and the student passes the test will become Fu Zi’s student. Ning Que thinks of his life stuff but he doesn’t get the point. When he scratches, Sang Sang has reaction. He realizes Sang Sang is his life stuff, and hugs her to turn around.
Li Peiyan visits Li Yu and worries about her when she is withered. She asks him to get rid of Xia Tian and reveals Xia Tian controlled her father with magic art. He suspected Xia Tian is a witch and swears to get rid of her.
Ning Que doesn’t want Sang Sang to be his life stuff because he thinks he will hurt while fight. He decides to treat money as his life stuff, so he can play with it each day. She has to give him $20. Li Yu punishes Li Hunyuan to be on his knees, but he is furious to beat up the maid to flee.

Lu Ji discovers people search for the person sneaked into emperor’s study, he fears they find Ning Que. So he visits Xu Chongshan. Xu Chongshan reminds him not to be scared. Li Yu finds out Li Hunyuan fled, so she talks about it with Huashan Yue.
Ning Que tells the good news to Chen Pipi and shows him the result. But the money just moves for a while. Chen Pipi sneers at Ning Que. Emperor Tang is upset of Li Hunyuan and Li Yu’s case, Xia Tian asks him to allow them stepping into palace. But he worries his children hurt her again.
Huashan Yue confesses his love to Li Yu, but she rejects him because Li Hunyuan doesn’t grow up. He suggests her to send her brother to army. Prince Yan visits Xia Hou and blames him for killing his soldiers. But Xia Hou doesn’t fear at all because he gets trust by Emperor Tang, and points out Prince Yan pretends to be Emperor Tang’s friend but unites with west palace.

Prince Yan says that Xia Hou was related to west palace when he chose Wei Guangming, and claims Long Qing will become Fu Zi’s student soon and take revenge for Tang Empire and become new Prince Yan. Xia Hou points out that Prince Yan never thinks to let Chong Ming return Yan Kingdom.
Jun Mo praises Chen Pipi for visiting old library frequently, and warns him not to leak too much to Ning Que. He doesn’t believe there is a person breaking no confusing realm in 14 days. Cao Zhifeng thrills and thinks it’s not suitable to take class today.
The students talk about the genius prince Long Qing, but Chen Pipi thinks the only genius in his mind is Ye Hongyu. Ning Que thinks Chen Pipi likes her. Chen Pipi takes Ning Que to the back mountain, and they walk to the 12 student’s houses. Chen Pipi shows off that they’re Fu Zi’s personal students, and takes out his token.
Ning Que wants to see the token but Chen Pipi rejects it. Emperor Tang is curious why Long Qing has to be Fu Zi’s personal student, but Li Peiyan thinks each student wants to be Fu Zi’s personal student.
Ever Night Chinese Drama Recap: Episode 18
Li Peiyan asks Emperor Tang to forgive Li Yu and Li Yunyuan, and suggests him to send his son to army. Xia Tian agrees it as well. So Emperor Tang orders Li Hunyuan to follow Huashan Yue. Chen Pipi asks Ning Que to pass the test of the second floor, becoming Fu Zi’s personal student, otherwise he wastes his pill of heaven.
But Ning Que thinks he lacks ability and background, so he cannot past the test. Chen Pipi takes Ning Que to Jun Mo’s training place, and lets him see the real power of swordmaster. Jun Mo waves his sword, the cloud rolls around just like great waves. Ning Que is stunned.
Long Qing arrives at capital of Tang Empire, women go to see him since he is handsome. Sang Sang dresses up to welcome Long Qing, but Long Qing thinks the women of Tang Empire are disgusting.
Ning Que finds out Sang Sang dressed up first time for Long Qing, he is furious to ask for his looks. She admits her mistake. Li Yunyuan claims he is next emperor and forces the soldiers to be on knees. But they ignore him.
Huashan Yue gives the uniform to Li Yunyuan and asks him to obey his order. But Li Hunyuan ignores Huashan Yue. So Huashan Yue scolds him. Li Hunyuan swears to take revenge and takes a break. But Huashan Yue forces him to continue the training.
Xia Hou sends Lin Ling to capital, and asks Shangguan Yuyang who murdered Zhang Yiqi, Chen Zixian and Yan Suqing. Shangguan Yuyang has to tell him the murderer. Zhong Dajun wants to treat Xie Chengyun and other students for the test of the second floor. Situ Yilan invites Ning Que to the party.
Ning Que has to attend, Sang Sang waits outside. Chong Ming is farewell to Li Yu, and says he has to fight with Tang Empire if he is to be Prince Yan. He only wants to live with Li Yu, but what she wants he cannot give out.
Xie Chengyuan fears that he cannot win Long Qing to be Fu Zi’s personal student. Situ Yilan asks Ning Que how he met with Li Yu. Huashan Yue beats up Zhong Dajun since he is arrogant. Situ Yilan stops Huashan Yue. Chong Ming worries people of Yan Kingdom won’t support him to be new Prince of Yan. Li Yu promises to get Huashan Yue to help him.
She sets up a party for Chong Ming and asks the students of academy to attend it. Long Qing and Cheng Lixue attend the party and are farewell to Chong Ming. Ning Que calls Sang Sang to come in seeing Long Qing.
Long Qing is confident to the second floor, so Xie Chengyun challenges him. Long Qing defeats him and everybody is silent. Huashan Yue offers to drink wine with Long Qing, but he is drunk first.
