He puts his cell phone into her hand. She returns the cell phone to him. She tells him that it’s her number. She will save his number. So she asks him to call her. She tells him that they must all keep today’s events a secret. He takes a look at his cell phone. He thinks the number of secrets has increased.
Asanagi meets Maehara at Maehara’s house. She learns that she was seen. He explains it to her that he did it because he had lunch nearby. He’s surprised that she doesn’t get angry. She tells him that she feels embarrassed to promote him to mind it so much. He asks her if she’s quite popular. She admits it to him that she’s popular. She wonders if he’s envy of her. He says that he finds it a bit of a hassle. She thinks he shouldn’t do that. She persuades him to imagine it. She wants to listen more to his thoughts.
He asks her not to mock him. He thinks it’s the world that he cannot imagine. Popularity is admired and loved by many people. People would want to be friends with people like that. Among those people might contain the people she’s not interested in. And the people she’s not good at at dealing with. But a popular person needs to take care of those guys. Although he feels really down when he’s alone, rather than worrying about how those around him feel, he feels much better.
Asanagi gets Maehara’s point. But she thinks his thoughts are too twisted even if she likes the strength of him. It’s the liking of a friend. She asks him not to misunderstand it. They agree to have a meeting up at the station. Amami notices that Asanagi is going to go home. Asanagi tells Amami that she has a business at home. She complains it to her that it’s a hassle. But Nitta points out that Asanagi laughed heartily. Asanagi feels awkward after her friend saw through her. She denies it. She thinks Nitta was mistaken. Nitta mentions Asanagi was a loner recently. She thinks she has a boyfriend. Amami doesn’t believe it. But she shakes her head after she realized that her friend did it. Asanagi hits Amami’s head with her hand blade. She asks her friend not to be moved by her enemy’s words. She threatens Nitta that she will give her a lesson. Nitta hugs Amami. She thinks Asanagi is terrifying. Asanagi notices that Maehara left the classroom.
At the station, Maehara thinks he came too early. He worries what he wore isn’t right. He looks at himself in the mirror. Asanagi touches his shoulder from his back. It startles him. She thinks he was being way too dramatic when he was startled. She tells him that dressed too darkly. She laughs. It’s not gloomy. It’s dark. He points out that the t-shirt is cool. She suggests that he should consider the color scheme next time. Otherwise, he will be more noticeable.
He chases her. He thinks she came very early as well. She explains it to him that she did it because she knew he would come early. The two get into a store. She learns that it’s the store that he visits often. She notices that there’re many girls with vibrant hair color. He regrets for taking her there. She thinks it’s not bad. The place is very fresh. She and Amami wouldn’t come to a place like this when they went out together. He calls her classmate. But she asks him not to call her classmate. Because they have been friends.
They go to a restaurant to eat hamburgers. Asanagi recommends a movie “Angel Sharks” to Maehara. It describes a shark with angel wings to attack humans. The special effects for the wings are quite crude. Maehara wants to watch the movie very much. They decide next week’s schedule even if it’s too early. But he worries about Amami. Because Asanagi stays with him every week. Asanagi comforts him that she will go out with Amami except Friday. She thinks he’s very considerate of others.
The two girls recognize Asanagi. They know she was the one who dumped the senior. One of the girls thinks Asanagi’s face is good looking. But she thinks she shouldn’t have been arrogant. Asanagi cannot stand it. She stands up. She thinks the two girls don’t know Maehara. Maehara tries to calm her down. He comforts her that it’s enough that she knows him. She sits down. But she drinks his drink. She complains it to him that the meal was ruined. She offers to go to Game Center.
Asanagi and Maehara have fun at Game Center. They decide to leave. But Asanagi needs to go to restroom. She walks away. Maehara is surprised that he could go shopping with her. He takes out his cell phone. He runs into
Amami and Nitta. He recognizes Amami. She admits it to him that she’s his classmate. Nitta is surprised that Amami knew the boy. Amami reminds Nitta that she saw Maehara last time.
Nitta explains it to Amami that she didn’t recognize the boy because he was dressed in casual clothes. Amami figures it out that Maehara came with his friend. He admits it. He calls Asanagi. She’s in the restroom to pick up his phone. She hears Amami’s voice.
Maehara tries to leave. But Amami stops him. She invites him to have fun with them. She asks him to take his friend. Nitta persuades Amami that Maehara will be put in a difficult position. But Amami thinks it will be definitely more fun if there’re a lot of people. She wonders if Nitta dislikes Maehara. Nitta denies it.
Maehara figures it out why Asanagi spent the weekend with him. He rejects Amami. He thinks it’s really lively if everyone plays together. But some people aren’t suitable for it. They force themselves to do social engagements because they worry about the awkward atmosphere. They’re tired in the end. Maehara tells Amami that he and his friend made plans to play just the two of them. He runs away.
At the station, Asanagi thanks Maehara for helping her. She reveals the story began a year ago. She was officially trapped in the interest. She was often promoted as the leader of the group. After all, her grades weren’t bad. She was cute. He thinks she feels good about herself. She laughs. She could tell that the classmates who thanked her at first, thinking she should have done it. Their attitude was naturally. He wonders if everyone gave the mess to her. She admits it. She mentions she swallowed her anger. She thinks she had her own issues too. It just kept piling up. Her body and mind were almost at their limit. She discovered the interest.

Asanagi receives a message from Amami. She shows Maehara the message. Amami complains it to Asanagi that she made Maehara angry. Maehara apologizes to Asanagi for causing her trouble. She smiles at him. She says that it’s fine. She thinks they should help each other. Because they’re friends. She strokes his hair. She asks him to sleep. She will wake him up when the subway arrives.
The next day. In the classroom, Amami apologizes to Maehara for making him unhappy. But he thinks he should apologize. He knows she didn’t have any evil intention. He forgives her. She’s happy to thank him. She asks him if he’s free. She wants to talk to him again. He agrees. She tells him that she will contact him. She wants to contact him with the number he gave her. She claims that she did it because she worried about her. Maehara apologizes to Asanagi for concealing it from her. Asanagi lets the two lean in. She taps their foreheads. She announces that the punishment ends. Amami learns that Maehara likes his friend very much. It promotes Asanagi to blush. She offers to go home early. Amami agrees. But she wants to be a friend of Maehara since they made up.
