Tian Lei throws a banquet for Jing Xiu, and Jing Xiu gives Tian Lei the Heart Nail. Tian Lei is happy to receive the gift, but Jing Xiu asks for leave because he needs to take avoiding illness pearl for queen Ling Yue.
Tian Lei asks Fang Sheng to get Kai Yang taking the pearl for Jing Xiu. Chi Bi gives the pearl to Kai Yang and escorts him. Zhong Hao mistakes Kai Yang as Jing Xiu because he rides his carriage. Zhong Hao hurts Kai Yang with the arrow, and Jiu Chen saves Kai Yang.
Jing Xiu scolds Chi Bi for getting Kai Yang injured, but Tian Lei thinks Kai Yang won’t die of the injury. Tian Lei asks Zi Guang to deal with Zhong Hao. Jing Xiu wonders why Jiu Chen shown up, and Chi Bi reveals Zhong Hao got stabbed by Jiu Chen.
Jiu Chen cures Kai Yan, and Ling Xi finds out the cup is frozen when Jiu Chen catches it. Shi San reports to Jiu Chen that Jing Xiu visits, and Jiu Chen asks Shi San to give the avoiding illness pearl to Jing Xiu.
Ling Xi notes that Jiu Chen is frozen again, and she moves the fire to him. She tells him that he was cold like an ice yesterday, and gets the medicine to him. He reminds her that it’s tenth day, and Ling Xi goes to look for immortality knot.
Hua Yan tells Ling Xi that Si Ming came, and Ling Xi notes that Shi San has feelings on Si Ming. Si Ming tells Jiu Chen that Jing Xiu killed his father and serves for the daughter of adversary. Jiu Chen tells Kai Yang to be careful of Jing Xiu.
Yun Feng tells Jiu Chen that Tian Lei asked Heaven Emperor to throw a banquet for Jiu Chen. He thinks he shouldn’t take part in the banquet, but Jiu Chen wants to attend it. Ling Xi looks for the immortality knot, but Shi San asks Ling Xi to go to the banquet giving the medicine to Jiu Chen.
Yuan Tong intends to greet Jiu Chen, but Madam Yuan stops her daughter. Jiu Chen greets Madam Yuan and Du Yu, but ignores Yuan Tong. Ling Xi notes that Yu Li is excited to see Jiu Chen, and wants to give the medicine to him.
But Heaven Emperor arrives, and celestial being go to welcome him. Yu Li thinks Ling Xi knew Jiu Chen as she keeps staring at him. Ling Xi denies and claims she is just interested in him. Yu Li thinks Ling Xi is like her to inquisitive, but reveals she delayed her marriage.
Yu Li thinks Ling Xi only can hurt herself, and introduces herself as the daughter of medicine king. Ling Xi thinks Yu Li might know Qing Yao, but their talk is interrupted by Zi Guang. Zi Guang wants to drink with Jiu Chen, but Kai Yang offers to drink for Jiu Chen.

Zi Guang thinks Kai Yang should drink one hundred thousand cups of wine, because Jiu Chen took one hundred thousand men but returned alone. Yun Feng shares that Zi Guang got two thousands men died for drinking wine, and slaps Zi Guang when he calls his name.
Ling Xi tells Jiu Cheng to take the pill, but he asks her to return to her seat. Tian Lei shows the heart nail to Heaven Emperor, and asks Yuan Tong if the nail belongs to her older brother. She recognizes the nail, and Madam Yuan goes to touch the nail.
But the nail moves to target Heaven Emperor. Jiu Chen catches the nail, but his hand is frozen. Ling Xi goes to treat his hand, and Heaven Emperor asks Tian Lei what he did. Tian Lei wonders why the nail attacked Jiu Zhen, and thinks Jiu Chen and Yu Zheng…
Yuan Tong disagrees and claims his older brother is Jiu Chen’s arm. Tian Lei asks Jiu Chen if he killed Yuan Zheng, and Madam Yuan wants to know the truth. Jiu Chen shares that the heaven soldiers died of killing demons, and takes Ling Xi away.
