The Untamed Chinese Drama 2019 Recap: Episode 17

Wu Xian hides in the boat and waits for Wen Ning. Some of men of Wen family yell that the wine isn’t good, and what they drink is lotus wine. Jiang Cheng, Wu Xian and Yan Li used to drink the wine in the lotuses, but everything is changed.
Wen Ning takes back the passed out Jiang Cheng, and returns purple electricity to him. Wen Ning gets people to bury Feng Mian and Zi Yuan, and tells Wu Xian that Jiang Cheng’s ribs are broken by Wen Chao, but he won’t die. Wen Ning advises Wu Xian to go to Yiling with Jiang Cheng, and Wen Qing is there. She can help Wu Xian. Wu Xian has no choice.
The next day, Wen Chao wakes up and finds out that Jiang Cheng fled. He knows that Wen Ning visited kitchen and he had the chance to drop medicine. Wen Chao rages and thinks Wu Xian will ask Wen Qing a favor. So he prepares to go to Yiling with Zhu Liu.
Wu Xian knows that Wen Ning takes Jiang Cheng to gather with Yan Li, and the four arrive at the supervision site of Yiling. Wu Xian keeps alertness and grabs Wen Ning’s collar, asking him if his intent is impurity. Wen Ning explains it, and Wu Xian takes down his guard. Wen Qing is surprised to see Wu Xian, but she doesn’t expose them. She asks him about Lotus dock. Wu Xian grabs his fist, and swears to let the murderers die.
Wen Qing finds out that there isn’t the gold core in Jiang Cheng’s body. Apparently, the melting core hand Zhu Liu melted Jiang Cheng’s core, and makes him cannot bear core. Jiang Cheng wakes up and ignores Wu Xian’s care. Wu Xian pretends to laugh and flatters Jiang Cheng. But Jiang Cheng realizes that he lost his martial arts and cannot take revenge. He cannot accept the truth because Feng Mian and Zi Yuan died after their gold cores got melted. Wen Qing wants to help Jiang Cheng, but he pushes her over and doesn’t want to see any person of Wen family.
Wu Xian asks Wen Qing for the medical books, and wishes to find the way to cure Jiang Cheng. She brings foods for him, but he isn’t moved. She tells him to see Yan Li. Yan Yi sits next to Jiang Cheng and wishes him to cheer. Wu Xian pretends to smile and sees Yan Li. He offers to ask Wang Ji a favor, but she stops him. He thinks he is a disaster to bring bad luck to Lotus dock.

Yan Li cries and thinks the blame meaning nothing. She is really alone if she lost Wu Xian. Wu Xian cannot hold his emotion, and they hug to cry together. Wen Qing sighs to help Wu Xian look up ancient books, and wishes Jiang Cheng to bear core. Wu Xian finds the recording from the ancient books, but his face is serious.
The next day, Wu Xian tells the way to Wen Ning. She is shocked and doesn’t agree to help as it costs too much. So he persuades her. Wen Qing agrees with it, and Wu Xian feels happy.
Wei Wuxian stays on the boat and hears the two guards of Wen family talk about lotus wind wine.
It flashes back. Wei Wuxuan drinks the lotus wind wine with lotus leaf. Jiang Yanli tells him not to drink it too much as she worries that he will fall. Jiang Cheng shows up and tells Jiang Yanli to ignore Wei Wuxian. He thinks it will be good if Wei Wuxian falls.
Jiang Yanli smiles while shaking her head. Wei Wuxian asks her if the wine will be good if he makes the wine with lotus leaf and lotus seed. But Jiang Cheng tells Wei Wuxian not to think about nonsense, and asks him to help him pick up lotus seed. Wei Wuxian gives the title “lotus wind wine” to the wine, and asks Jiang Yanli for her opinion.
Wen Ning carries Jiang Cheng and looks for Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian shows up and recognizes Jiang Cheng. He asks Wen Ning about other people. Wen Ning comforts Wei Wuxian that they’re safe as he made them drink medicine. He tells him that Jiang Cheng is just in a coma.
But Wen Ning tells Wei Wuxian that Jiang Cheng’s ribs was broken, and he was whipped by the whip. He adds that Wen Chao took the whip of Jiang Clan, and there’re some other wounds in Jiang Cheng’s body. He gives Jiang Cheng’s weapon Purple Lightning to Wei Wuxian.
Wei Wuxian thanks Wen Ning. But Wen Ning tells him not to say such words, and tells him that he gets his men to move Jiang Fengmian and Lu Ziyuan’s bodies out. He tells him to leave as he thinks the place isn’t safe. Wei Wuxian asks where he should go since Jiang Cheng is injured. Wen Ning tells Wei Wuxian that he can taken them to a place to hide if he believes in what he says.
Wen Ning reminds Wei Wuxian that Jiang Cheng needs medicine and a rest, and he cannot walk too long. He tells him to go to Yi Ling to visit his older sister, and she can treat Jiang Cheng. Wei Wuxian agrees to it.
Wen Zhuliu wakes Wen Chao up. Wen Chao finds out that his followers fall asleep, and asks what happened. Wen Zhuliu reveals someone dropped the medicine in the wine, and tells Wen Chao that he has a headache because it’s 100 day tipsy. Wen Chao thinks Wei Wuxian did it, and asks Wen Zhuliu to check if Jiang Cheng is there.
Wen Zhuliu says that he went to check it and Jiang Cheng was saved by someone. Wen Chao wonders how Jiang Cheng was saved since he set up the nets in the Lotus Flower Dock. He is furious to ask to wake up the useless trash, and wants to interrogate them.
Jiang Yanli goes to wake up Jiang Cheng and asks what happened to him. Wen Ning tells her that her younger brother is just in a coma, and they will take him to be cured. She is in tear and doesn’t trust him. He comforts her that he won’t forget the grace as Wei Wuxian saved him before.
The old lady tells Wei Wuxian and Jiang Yanli to leave. Wei Wuxian bows to the old lady, and Jiang Yanli tells her to get a place to hide. The old lady cries and thinks she doesn’t need to stay there as her masters left her. Wei Wuxian tells her that they will come back.

Wen Chao gives the follower a slap. The follower tells Wen Chao that he couldn’t stop Wen Ning from checking because his position is higher than him. Wen Chao kicks the follower away and asks if he’s wrong. The follower denies and keeps slapping his face.
Wen Chao gets Wen Zhuliu to kill the follower, and thinks Wen Ning has guts. Wang Lingjiao mentions Wen Ning ruined Wen Chao’s plan with the chief liking his sister. He tells her to get lost, and thinks it’s good if the person was saved by Wen Ning.
Wen Chao tells Wen Zhuliu to go to Yi Ling with him. But Wen Zhuliu doesn’t think Wen Ning would go back after he saved the person. Wen Chao thinks Wen Ning had no way but to go back to visit his older sister. Wang Lingjiao asks Wen Chao what he will do with them if he finds out Wen Ning did it. He says that he will kill all of them.
Wen Ning arrives at the house, and tells Wei Wuxian to get into the place first. Jiang Yanli thinks what Wen Ning said is right, and tells him to listen to Wen Ning. Wei Wuxian carries Jiang Cheng into the house, but he stops. He rages to grab Wen Ning’s collar and asks him if it’s the Supervision House of Wen Clan. He asks him what he wants to do by taking them there.
Wen Ning explains that it’s the place his older sister lives, and he doesn’t intend to hurt Wei Wuxian. He adds that he would hurt him in Lotus Dock if he intended to do that, and he didn’t need to draw them there. He reminds him that Wen Sect is looking for the disciples of other sects, and he cannot take them to walk around.
Wen Ning tells Wei Wuxian that Supervision House is a safe place, and thinks Wen Sect won’t search the inside of Supervision House. Jiang Yanli thinks what Wen Ning said is right, and stops Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian apologizes to Wen Ning. Wen Ning tells him to get in the house first.
Wen Qing shows up and has an eye contact with Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian pulls out his sword when Wen Qing’s follow tries to break the gate. She comforts her follower that her younger brother got back. So the follower leaves.
Jiang Cheng has a nightmare and calls his family’s names. Wei Wuxian takes the cloth and tries to take care of him. Someone knocks at the door. Wei Wuxian is vigilant to walk to the door. He hears the voice of Wen Qing.
Wen Ning says that case of Muxi Mountain. Wei Wuxian tells her not to mention it as it’s past. So she asks him about Lotus Dock. He grabs the wood tightly and wants them to repay their lives. She gets his point and asks if he wants to kill her right now. He’s silent. So she goes to see Jiang Cheng.
Wen Qing checks Jiang Cheng’s wound and she is shocked. Jiang Cheng wakes up but he says nothing. Wei Wuxian tells Jiang Cheng not to startle him, and asks him to speak. Jiang Cheng gets back in Wei Wuxian’s help, and takes a look at the wound on his chest. Wei Wuxian tells Jiang Cheng not to stare at the wound, and promises to get rid of it for him later.
Jiang Cheng hits Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian thinks Jiang Cheng will feel better if he hits him. But Jiang Cheng asks Wei Wuxian if he felt it, and reveals he used all of his power. Wei Wuxian tells Jiang Cheng to hit him again. Jiang Cheng rejects it and thinks the results are same no matter how many times he hits him.
Jiang Cheng tells Wei Wuxian that the Gold Core Melt User’s hands can melted the person’s gold core and make him not gather gold core forever. He adds that his spirit power will be gone and he will become a normal person. He yells that he cannot reach the top anymore, and cries to Wei Wuxian that his parents were killed by Wen Zhuliu after their gold cores were melted.
Jiang Cheng pushes Wei Wuxian over and wants to take revenge. But he realizes that he cannot do that because his gold core is gone. He grabs his collar and asks him why he saved him. He asks him if he wanted to let him see Wen Sect doing everything they want to do.
Wen Qing grabs Jiang Cheng’s hand and tries to help him get up. But he tells her to get lost after seeing the Wen sect clothes she wears. He tells her that he doesn’t need her to pity him. He adds that he doesn’t want to see any person of Wen sect. She has to leave.
Wen Qing tells Wen Ning that Jiang Cheng cannot be rehabilitation. He’s surprised and thinks the two families will become enemies. He asks her to save Jiang Cheng. She thinks they had become enemies, and tells him that what Wen sect did isn’t representative of what they’re doing. She adds that they only save people. He nods.
Wen Qing tells Wen Ning to send Jiang Cheng away after his injury is cured. She thinks Wen Chao will come soon. He thanks her. She smiles.
Wei Wuxian asks Wen Qing for medical books. She gives it to him. He reads the books. She places the foods on the table and tells him to eat some. She adds that it was made by Jiang Yanli, and thinks he will have strength when he fulls up.
Wen Qing tells Wei Wuxian that Jiang Cheng’s wound is cured but he doesn’t eat anything. She adds that Jiang Yanli asked her to use a silver needle to make Jiang Cheng fall asleep. Wen Qing tells Wei Wuxian to see Jiang Yanli, and reveals she worries about him.
Jiang Cheng falls asleep. Jiang Yanli wipes the sweat from his forehead, and tells him to be healthy soon. She mentions what their dad said that the disciples of Jian sect can bear storm. She tells him not to give up, and thinks Wei Wuxian will find the way.
Wei Wuxian shows up. Jiang Yanli coughs. He tells her not to bear it as she’s sick as well. She touches his face and finds out that he’s tired. He denies and claims that he needs to read books. He thinks there must be a way to make gold core again in the books. He wants to go to Cloud Place because he thinks there must be a lot of books. But he realizes that the place was burned up.
Wei Wuxian thinks Lan Zhan will help him and wants to visit him. But Jiang Yanli stops him. She cries to tell him that he needs to take a break as he’s very tired. She adds that she doesn’t want him to collapse when Jiang Cheng wakes up. He thinks it was his fault. She yells at him that it’s useless to blame anyone. Because the things have happened.
Jiang Yanli cries and thinks nothing will be changed. She tells Wei Wuxian that she cannot lose him because he’s her only family. She holds his hand and mentions he promised her to return to Lotus Dock. She asks him if he forgot it. He tears up and is in her arms. Jiang Sheng drops one tear. Wen Qing sees the scene. She sighs.
Wen Qing sorts out the books Wei Wuxian messed. She reads the books. Wei Wuxian brings the porridge to her, and tells her that the porridge was cooked by Jiang Yanli.
The Untamed Chinese Drama 2019 Recap: Episode 18
Wu Xian goes to mountain to catch pheasant and runs into blind Song Lan. Wu Xian takes Song Lan home. Wen Qing and Wen Ning treat Song Lan, and Wu Xian and Yan Li take care of him. Song Lan tells Wu Xian that he returned Snow White Pavilion for his master’s birthday. But there were many bodies, and his master was killed.
Xue Yang flew down from the roof and splashed poison powder to Song Lan. Song Lan felt pain in his eyes and cried. Xue Yang showed the complacent smile. He killed all of people of Snow White Pavilion, and waited the time to blind Song Lan.
Song Lan remembers Xing Chen told him that Celestial Baoshan can cure his eyes and he took him to Yiling. Wu Xian visits Jiang Cheng and tells him that Celestial Baoshan can help him bear core.
Wu Xian tells Jiang Cheng to blindfold himself and go to the mountain Celestial Baoshan lives, and if someone asks about his identity, Jiang Cheng needs to tell him that he is the son of Celestial Zang Se. Wu Xian asks Jiang Cheng not to tell it to Yan Li, and Jiang Cheng agrees with it.
Wu Xian tells Wen Qing that Song Lan’s eyes are cured, and he will leave soon. He will ask Song Lan to take Yan Li going to Jinling, and join Wang Ji. Wu Xian asks Wen Qing for the nerve powder, and she asks him what he will do if Jiang Cheng knows the truth.
Wu Xian hands over the nerve powder to Yan Li, and she leaves the lotus root ribs soup to him. He remembers that he was startled to climb to the tree by Jiang Cheng because he feared dogs. Yan Li found Wu Xian and carried him back.
Yan Li looks at Wu Xian and tells him that the three shouldn’t abandon each other. But she falls asleep then. Wu Xian gives Yan Li to Song Lan, and wishes him to escort her to Jinling.
Wu Xian and Jiang Cheng arrive at the mountaintop, and Wu Xian gives Jiang Cheng the blinder. Jiang Cheng walks alone, and the girl questions his identity. He tells her that he is the son of Celestial Zangse, and asks for help. She gives him the ribbon, and asks him to follow her. But she doesn’t allow him to take off the blinder. Jiang Cheng doesn’t know the girl is Wen Qing. The tragedy of Jiang family becomes the blasting fuse of charge Wen family, the three families revolt, known to history as the levy of shooting sun.
