Mi Ka tears up after leaving Do Ha, and recalls she put a note inside the doll duck’s mouth.
Woo Jin asks Do Ha what Mi Ka said when he is staring at the beautiful painting in his office. Do Ha says she doesn’t like it, Woo Jin misunderstands that he means the painting, and puts it down from the wall. Do Ha is curious why Mi Ka changed her mind in one day, when sitting down, and goes outside.
Do Ha runs into Joon A who asks him out. The assistant comes to practice room, and tells Ms. Choi that Jae Yoo didn’t write new song today, so that everyone has to stop the practice. Ms. Choi thinks Jae Yoo is useless if he cannot write songs.
Joon A asks Do Ha to focus on her, because she took up a lot of courage to confess when they’re sitting on the bench outside. He feels sorry, and lets her go on. She says that she was scared after getting fired from each work. He tells her that he knew his father was harassing her, but he just didn’t know how to protect her from his father. He adds that he felt awful whenever he thought about her situation, and thought it was his fault when she was in the emergency room. She reveals she knew he begged his father for her, and tells him that she accepted the money from his father to leave him. Because she wanted to protect her future. She feels sorry for he was hurt because of her. But he thinks it’s his fault to make her do that. She feels sorry as well, and thought she will feel well when meeting him after paying off her debt. But it won’t work.

Sun Moon laughs when Ms. Bae brings many supplements to him at home. She tells him that he needs to take care of himself, he tells her that he feels well after seeing her. She reveals she is going to accept Do Ha’s proposal. He is happy, and holds her hand, thinking she made a good choice. She says that she still didn’t tell Do Ha about it, and asks him for help. He accepts it with laugh.
Mi Ka returns home when Ra Hee is exercising. Mi Ka tells her mom that she missed her, and wants to stay at home. Ra Hee pretends to have temper with her, and tells her to do what she wants.
Ms. Choi thinks Jae Yoo should use computer while picking papers on the floor for him at his room, he asks her to leave them there, because others might think he is bullying her. She claims she wants to prevent the housekeeper from fainting, and asks him to keep writing his song. He grumbles that he cannot write song because of her, she talks back that it’s not because of her, but the dirty room. She adds that she doesn’t want to come to his room, if she is a song. He gets up, and calls her aunt, and asks her how she said that to him. He grumbles that he is scared to death, and thinks his talents are limited, asking her if she knows about the torment of creativity. But she thinks he should serve his right, and tread a can. She throws the can to him with temper, and thinks he shouldn’t throw it on the floor. He denies, and thinks he just put it there. She loses her temper, and asks him to pack up, and claims that she will call his mom to stop his credit card, thinking he should return home to become human.

Just then someone rings the doorbell, she thinks there is a guy reporting a weird smell inside his room. But she finds out it’s Joon A after opening the door.
Joon A and Jae Yoo have dinner at the pork restaurant, she thinks he came to Korea is because of Ms. Choi. He admits, she asks him why he didn’t tell her about it. He says that he didn’t think he needed while grilling the pork. She is disappointed by his words, he tells her that he will feel uncomfortable if he tells her about it, and says it’s delicious after eating a piece of meat. He says that he has good taste, although he couldn’t write any song. She thinks he’d only have bacon and barbecues, but he is enjoying port bellies. He claims it’s his life’s food, and reveals he grilled pork belly at home with his family, when he was a kid. But he thinks it doesn’t taste well when he enjoys it alone. She knows his feeling, and points out that food is delicious when he has it with someone he likes, and asks him to have a drink. But he says that he doesn’t have too many experiences about drinks. She tells him that he will get inspiration because of the soju. He drinks it up, and says it’s bitter.
She drinks it up, and mentions some of cast’s names. He asks her why she bring them up so sudden. She thinks they will do well to the role of Yeon Hee.
Woo Jin is waiting Sung Hee outside her house, and asks her why she is so late, and didn’t answer his phone. She says that she didn’t hear it because it’s in her bag, and asks him why he is waiting for her, thinking he is a stalker. He nervously denies it, and asks her to get in his car first. She is shocked, and asks him why she would get in his car. He says that he is not asking her for a drive, and reveals Do Ha wants to see her.
Sung Hee meets up with Do Ha in a cafe. She thinks he did something wrong to Mi Ka, and guesses they had a fight. He denies, and says that Mi Ka wants to break up. She is shocked, he adds that Mi Ka told him that she didn’t like him anymore, and asks Sung Hee if she knew the reason. She thinks it looks weird, and says Mi Ka cannot break up with him, claiming that she will asks Mi Ka what she is thinking.

Mi Ka tells Sung Hee that she doesn’t like Do Ha anymore when they meet up at park in the evening. But Sung Hee doesn’t believe what she said, and says that her eyes show she is in love with him, and warns to tell her mom about Mi Ka’s life watch. Mi Ka stops her with tears, and says that his time moves to her.
Do Ha goes to Mi Ka’s house, and grumbles to duck doll that his master left. He comes to kitchen the next day, Woo Jin is cooking for him, and greets with smile. Do Ha asks him why he is there, Woo Jin worries about him, and asks him if he slept well yesterday. Do Ha reveals he didn’t sleep well because the house felt too empty. Woo Jin gets a call from someone else who asks for a meeting. Woo Jin tells Do Ha that Director Cho requested an urgent meeting.
Joon A meets up with Ms. Bae, and hands over the contract to her, asking to cancel it. Ms. Bae warns her that she will take the on the legal responsibility. Joon A points out that Ms. Bae will get benefits if she leaves. Ms. Bae laughs, and says that she needs her because of the musical, and cannot accepts her demand. Joon A mentions the condition in the contract, and doesn’t think she is suitable for the musical. Ms. Bae claims she will tell Do Ha her secret, but Joon A says that she told him already.
Joon A meets up with the staff, and apologizes. But Ms. Choi the problem isn’t be solved, even if she apologizes. Do Ha adds that there are only two months left, and thinks she is irresponsible. Joon A says that she will cause more problems if she performs with her voice. Jae Yoo thinks her voice condition is a problem as well.
Joon A thinks Seoul looks different, when she stands with Do Ha at the rooftop. He asks her if she leaves because of her voice condition. She denies, and says that he feels uncomfortable when seeing him and Mi Ka together. She reveals her heart were stung when seeing them, and is happy because he moves on from their past. She asks him if he likes Mi Ka a lot, he says that he was scared to see her again, and has courage to face the truth because Mi Ka was next to him. She feels weird to hear that, and is jealous, claiming that she can leave without worrying about him. He feels sorry for hurting her, she thinks she should forever stay in his memories, and asks him if she ruined their beautiful memories. He thanks her for showing him her beauty, she is moved by his words, and asks him to be standby Mi Ka.
Ms. Oh asks Mi Ka what brings her there after she and Mr. Park returned her room with flowers. Mi Ka says that her rehearsal was canceled so that she came to see her. Ms. Oh thinks she is very sweet, Mi Ka asks about Mr. Park, he claims he is living in paradise because of Ms. Oh, and reveals they went to admire flowers. Mi Ka sees his clock, it’s only 2 days. Ms. Oh sees the clock as well, Mi Ka says that the flowers are beautiful, and asks about it. Ms. Oh tells her they’re marigolds and canola flowers, and asks Mi Ka what she thinks. Mr. Park thinks they cannot defeat Ms. Oh’s beauty. Ms. Oh is happy, and says that she cannot believe he said that, and feels shamed in front of Mi Ka. Then Mr. Park leaves to see his friend.
Ms. Oh asks Mi Ka about Do Ha, Mi Ka says that they broke up. Ms. Oh recalls the clocks she have seen, and asks her if Do Ha cheated on her. Mi Ka denies, Ms. Oh persuades her not to give up Do Ha. Mi Ka tears up, Ms. Oh mentions a poem of “Back to the Sky”, and asks her not to overcomplicate things, and wants her friend to enjoy her picnic because she never knows when her picnics will end. Mi Ka wipes her tears, and thinks she gave her a great advice. Ms. Oh claims they’re good friends, and touches her face.
Wi Jin looks for his stuff in his room, and gets nothing. He thinks Sung Hee gets it, and calls her. Just then Ra Hee carries a heavy box returning home, Wi Jin comes to see what it is. She takes out the one-of-a-kind cosmetic, and claims she is going to see it. But he finds out the ingredients aren’t listed on the product. Ra Hee claims there is a special technique used in it, and is excited that she will becomes CEO, if she can sell 1,000. He realizes it’s a pyramid scheme, and thinks his older sister will freak out if she knows it. But Ra Hee doesn’t think so, and claims she is making honest money. He wants to leave, and tells his mom that he is going to catch someone avoiding him. She yells at him, and asks him to help him.
Sung Hee enjoys beer alone at home, and asks herself why Mi Ka didn’t tell her the reason. Just then someone knocks the door, she opens the door, and asks Wi Jin why he comes her home. He asks her why she didn’t answer his calls instead, and steps in. She says that she didn’t allow him to come inside, but he throws the ice cream to her, and asks her if she drank herself, thinking she should call him so that he could take chicken. He takes out a can of beer from her refrigerator, and wants to ask her something. She puts the ice cream on the table, and asks him what it’s, taking the beer from him. He thinks she looks weird, and ignores his visits, asking her what’s wrong with her. She yells at him, and tells him that she doesn’t want to see him. He feels hurt, and asks her if she remembers that day he did everything. She nervously pushes him out of her house.
Ms. Bae looks at the mirror Joon A gave her, and recalls she told her that bad love makes beautiful women look pathetic.
The assistant thinks it’s beautiful, when Ms. Bae is looking at the mirror. But Ms. Bae asks her to get rid of it, as she thinks it’s not a good idea to keep the gift which her fiance’s previous girlfriend sent her.
Mi Ka comes to practice, others talk about Joon A hurt her throat and wants to quit. Just then Joon shows up at the door.
Joon A gives Mi Ka the script “Curious Case of Yeon Hee”, when they meet up at the cafe. Mi Ka asks her if she is going to leave, Joon A tells her she had the idea when they met up Ms. Bae, and asks her to fight until the end. Mi Ka thinks Joon A is a good person, but Joon A thinks she wouldn’t say it if she knows how mean she has been to her.
Sung Hee comes to Do Ha’s office, and is hesitate to tell him about Mi Ka. Woo Jin shows up, and asks her if she is waiting for him, and thinks she is a stalker. But she denies, and asks to talk with him somewhere.
Do Ha thinks Woo Jin still didn’t change his habit, after Woo Jin followed him into the closet. Woo Jin smiles, and tells his boss that he came up with a solution for Mi Ka.
Do Ha asks Woo Jin if his method works after getting off his car, Woo Jin tells him the idea comes from Mi Ka’s best friend, and claims that he will be waiting for good news at his house.
Mi Ka texts Sung Hee, and asks her when she will arrive, when she is waiting at the restaurant. Do Ha shows up, and pours a drink himself, asking her to date him. But she leaves after he drank up. He yells, and thinks Woo Jin is a punk. He chases her, and thinks she cannot avoid him and run away. She tells him that he is worse type, but he thinks they cannot end without a reason. She tells him that his family and Ms. Bae harassed her. He swears that he won’t let it happen again, and says he know she likes him. But she denies, and says that she is chill when staying with him. He doesn’t feel well, and faints, after she left. She rushes to him, after seeing he is lying on the ground, and calls his name.
Woo Jin is flurried after Do Ha wakes up, and thinks he shouldn’t suggest him to do it. Do Ha asks about Mi Ka, Woo Jin reveals she rejected to come, and returned home.
Mi Ka scolds Sung Hee, and reveals Do Ha collapsed on the street. Sung Hee yells at her, and thinks he has a lot of time she can use. Mi Ka loses her temper, and asks her why she thinks like that. Sung Hee reveals she can do worse thing, if she can save her friend. Mi Ka tears up, and says that she is mad when thinking about she is taking time from Do Ha. But Sung Hee cannot let Mi Ka die like that, and tears up as well. Mi Ka leans her head on her body, and hugs Sung Hee.
Jae Yoo asks Joon A to focus on her treatment when driving her to airport, and claims he will visit her when it’s done, and asks her to but him pork belly and soju on Broadway. She laughs.
Mi Ka calls Ms. Oh, and asks her if Mr. Park is in bad condition. Ms. Oh reveals he collapsed in front of the hospital, and says that he will be fine. She comforts Mr. Park’s granddaughter, and tells her not to cry out. Just then the nurse asks the granddaughter to come in.
Mi Ka picks up a black clothes, and attends Mr. Park’s funeral. She bows to his family, and asks Ms. Oh if she is ok. Ms. Oh says that she should stay strong until she meets Mr. Park. Mi Ka notices Do Ha comes, when her clock stops. Ms. Oh says that she calls him because he played with Mr. Park well, and lets them stay alone.
Mi Ka wants to leave, when seeing Do Ha. But he stops her while holding her hand, and tells her he will come back after paying his respects to Mr. Park.
He tells her that he cannot live without her when they sit on the bench at the park. But she says that he is taking away her time, and asks him to let her leave. Do Ha is shocked, and releases his hand.
