In the 9th episode of About Time Korean Drama, Mi Ka realizes she is sucking Do Ha’s time, and wants to leave him. She has a perfect night with him, and feels sorry for loving him. Joon A realizes Do Ha doesn’t love her anymore, and wants to confess to him why she left him five years ago.

Mi Ka is scared and drives fast, Do Ha notices her change, and asks her why her eyes are glued only on the road. She claims they’re late, and tells him she will drive safely.
She sits on the stairs alone, and looks at her clock. She recalls her time got increased the first time, and realizes she gains more time because of taking his.
She films others when they are rehearsals. Woo Jin tells Do Ha that he will drive him because Mi Ka has a rehearsals. Joon A’s throat doesn’t feel well after drinking, Jae Yoo notices it.
Qi Yang meets up with Do Ha and Woo Jin, and thinks they will be taking a risk if they sign without MJBC. Do Ha knows it, and asks Qi Yang to trust him. But Qi Yang claims he is a businessman, and asks him how he convinces him. Do Ha says that he is offering him 51 percent to set his job on the line. Qi Yang agrees it, but claims he does it isn’t because he trusts him, but trusts his decision.

Do Ha claims he will do it better, Qi Yang thinks it’s certainly, and points out his fate is in his hands. But he just cannot understand why he chose musicals.
Do Ha asks Woo Jin why he chose musicals, when Woo Jin is driving. Woo Jin reveals Do Ha ruined his projects and was sent off to the culture company, and looked for project spent less and earned more, and found out musicals. But Woo Jin points out that Do Ha knows nothing about musicals.
Do Ha thinks Woo Jin showcased his specialty while staring at him. Woo Jin is happy, and thinks he means his perfect analysis. But Do Ha loses his temper, and says it’s his tendency to induce anger. Woo Jin is startled, and says that he needs to focus on driving safely.
Do Ha sighs, and looks at outside, recalling Mi Ka sang on the stage. He smiles, and says that he thinks about Mi Ka all the time. He gets a message from her who tells him that she is going home to see her mom for a few days. He texts her back, and asks her if she is ok.

Wi Jin does a dating test on date sister’s friend in his bed, the girls thinks he is naughty. He gets up, and yells at them, asking why they call him like that. They say that he is cute, Wi Jin is happy, and admits his is cute.
Ra Hee shows up, and tells him that he is going to clean his bed sheets. Although he doesn’t like it, he has to accept his mother’s request. Ra Hee finds $20,000 while cleaning up Mi Ka’s room, she is shocked.
Joon A walks around Do Ha’s office, and sees a girl’s painting on the wall. She says that the painting is beautiful, while he returns. He asks her what brings her there, she tells him that she lied that Woo Jin allowed her to come in while stopped by staff. He asks her to grab a beer outside together.
She feels sorry because she didn’t show up at Do San’s funeral, because she knows his father didn’t want to see her. He understands it, and thanks her for being considerate, and asks her if she had a reason to left him. She admits there is a reason, but thinks it won’t change anything. He claims it’s important to him, because it has been bothering him for five years. She asks him if he can take it if she tells him. He says he has to, she asks him to give her some time because she is still confused after seeing him again. He accepts it, and asks her to tell him when she is ready.

Sung Hee thinks she doesn’t have to wash her face after using the new cream, when she and Mi Ka are going to sleep. She asks her, “Did you have a fight with Do Ha?” But Mi Ka denies, and thinks she doesn’t have feelings for him. Sung Hee thinks she talks nonsense, and reveals Mi Ka looks happy after seeing him, and persuades her to go back to him. She reminds her that her life gets extended when staying with him, and leans on her shoulder.
But Mi Ka yells at her, saying that she won’t take anything. Sung Hee stares at her, and asks her why she is shouting suddenly. Mi Ka thinks she is the one getting things wrong, and says that she isn’t the vampire sucking blood off Do Ha, getting up to take water. Sung Hee thinks Mi Ka is changed because of date.
Jae Yoo runs into Joon A in the market, when she is picking up humidifier. She tells him that his room is a little dry, but he doesn’t think so, and asks her to save her voice.
She is shocked, when seeing many goods in his basket. He admits, and takes a humidifier around her. She tells him it’s too expensive, and wants to take it back. But he stops her, and says that it’s a gift for her. But she argues that he shouldn’t buy stuff by price. He fights it back, and says price means quality. She thinks he doesn’t have senses of finance and reality, and only knows writing songs.
He is shocked that Do Ha is the man from Joon A’s unbelievable story, while drinking beer in her room. He asks her how she has missed him for five years, she says that she still had feelings on Do Ha after five years. He asks her how she is going to answer him, she says that she asks Do Ha to give her some time. He asks her if she needs to brace herself before telling him the truth. She says that her ambition towards work and miserable reality were mixed up together, and thinks she made a mistake five years ago. But she wasn’t brave enough to confess it to Do Ha, because she thinks he doesn’t have feelings on her.
Jae Yoo can understand the feelings as he didn’t fall for someone. Joon A grumbles that she picked the wrong consultant, and thinks he is a slow-witted person, when he claims he couldn’t find anyone. She mentions Jenny had a crush on him, he realizes it, and blames her that she should’ve told him. Joon A claims there was a chance when someone stayed near him and talked to him. She thinks even if a passing dog would’ve noticed it. Jae Yoo tells her that Do Ha likes Mi Ka.
Sung Hee thinks Mi Ka makes her lose appetite while eating lunch, and asks her to enjoy her food. She goes to get water, when Do Ha shows up. He asks Mi Ka if she lives well after returning home, she silently looks at her. He asks her to have some tea, but she takes her foods leaving. He follows her, Joon A sees them.
Joon A cannot focus on reading lines while Mi Ka is rehearsal with others. She asks her to help her practice lines, and thinks Mi Ka is too emotionless after reading the lines, and leaves. Sung Hee comes to Mi Ka, and thinks Joon A took her stress out on her.
Sung Bin meets up Do Ha in his office, and thinks his condition is too good to make him ashamed. Do Ha asks him why he feels ashamed, Sung Bin grumbles that his recovery comes from somewhere else, even if he tried his best to treat him. He says that it’s Mi Ka when Do Ha looks at the painting in his office, and reveals he worried him when Joon A appeared, telling him that Mi Ka is a natural treatment for him.
Do Ha reveals Mi Ka acted strange these days, and keeps avoiding him, thinking it’s because of Joon A. Sung Bin asks him if he told Mi Ka about Joon A, Do Ha says he didn’t do it because he had to deal with Do San’s case, and reveals Joon A wanted him to give her some time. Sung Bin tells him that the best way to end the relationship is to piling up secrets between the two.
Sung Bin calls Joon A when they run into at the hall, and meets up with her in the cafe. She says that she is envious that he is still Do Ha’s best friend after many years. He laughs, and points out that she is the rookie of Broadway. He sighs, and asks if she came to see Do Ha again in Korea to get him back. She smiles, and asks him if she isn’t allowed. He thinks it’s not his position to dictate her emotions, and reveals Do Ha had a hard time because of her, persuading her to resolve what happened five years ago. She sighs.
Mi Ka sighs after washing her face in the washroom, Ra Hee and Wi Jin show up with gifts to surprise her.
Ra Hee takes out crepe cake, and thinks it’s Mi Ka favorite, showing her the macaroons which she likes. Mi Ka is shocked, and asks her mom if she bought all of that. Ra Hee admits, and reveals she went to department store, telling her she was back in their L.A house again. Mi Ka asks her where the money came from, Ra Hee smiles, and thinks her daughter knows the money.
Wi Jin lies in couch, and thinks he gets a lot of sunshine every time he comes there. Mi Ka asks him when he was there, he mentions the day she spent the night at the studio. Sung Hee is startled by Wi Jin, and tells Ra Hee that her macaroons look delicious, and takes one. Ra Hee is happy, and claims they’re the best in Korea, because it tastes similar to the ones in Paris.
She gives it a bite, and says that it’s been a while since she has had this much fun. Mi Ka asks her mom where she got the money again, Ra Hee claims she found her little gift, and asks her daughter if she is saving up for later on. Mi Ka recalls her installment savings for 2018 and 2019, and asks Ra Hee if she touched her savings. Wi Jin is shocked, and asks his mom if his sister hides money from them. Ra Hee denies, and tells him that Mi Ka saved up for them, and reveals one of the installment savings is in her name. She adds that she took out a small amount from it.
Mi Ka yells at Ra Hee, and thinks she is crazy. Ra Hee is shocked, and asks Mi Ka what she just said. Wi Jin adds that he wants to know the savings as well. Sung Hee asks him out to eat ice cream, and takes him away.
He tells her that he doesn’t want ice cream while she pulls him outside, and thinks his family are going to fight, and wants to mediate. But she asks him not to add fuel to the fire instead. He asks her to tell him the truth why Mi Ka saved up money, and the money amounts. She asks him if he wants to spend it all, he claims he wants to come up with the financial plan to be more effective for family. But she thinks he is just a child, he is against what she said. She mentions he said he notices every time he comes there getting a lot of sunlight. He claims it’s the truth, she tells him to erase the memory of crashing at her place after drinking. He asks her what if he doesn’t want to, she lifts her hand, and wants to hit him. But he catches her hand, and asks her when you will keep answering first with violence. He thinks he is so cool when she stares at him. She is shocked, and runs away.
Mi Ka stands in front of the window, and asks Ra Hee why she touched the money to buy the desserts. Ra Hee asks her why she saves up money instead. Mi Ka tells her mom if she wants to starve, Ra Hee asks her why she worry about next year, and thinks they can pay back her dad’s debt with the money, so that he will be out to take care of them. But Mi Ka thinks her dad won’t be out with the money, and tells Ra Hee not to being a princess, asking her how she is going to survive with Wi Jin. Ra Hee thinks her daughter is changed, and makes decisions without asking. Mi Ka sighs, and says that she never belittled her. Ra Hee asks her why she didn’t tell her she was dating Do Ha, and reveals his family came with a suitcase of money. Mi Ka thinks her mom accepted it, and yells at her. Ra Hee is in tears, and yells it back, claiming that she won’t use her money.
Ms. Bae thinks her skin keeps getting better and better because of the new cream she used, while looking at mirror. She looks at Do Ha’s photos, and wears the ring he gave her.
Ms. Oh laughs while watching television, Mi Ka asks her why she called her when lying next to her. Ms. Oh reveals she couldn’t sleep because she keeps thinking about how long she will be with Mr. Park. Mi Ka sleeps in her bed, Ms. Oh touches her hair, and says life isn’t easy.
Ms. Bae meets up with Joon A, and orders egg benedict, asking her what she wants. Joon A just wants coffee, Ms. Bae tells waiter that there is one more person coming. Mi Ka shows up, Joon A recognizes her.
Ms. Bae claims it’s a blind date while eating egg benedict, and tells Mi Ka and Joon A that Joon A is Do Ha’s past, and Mi Ka is Do Ha’s present, and she is Do Ha’s future. Joon A asks Ms. Bae to explain why she is Do Ha’s future. Ms. Bae shows the rings Do Ha gave her, Joon A asks her why she cast her since Ms. Bae knew their past. Ms. Bae reveals the reason to cast her is to tell her that she won’t let others around Do Ha no matter who she is.
She thinks Mi Ka stays with Do Ha is because of his background, but Mi Ka denies, and reveals she loves him even if he isn’t there. Ms. Bae asks her, “Do you know what will happen if you stay with Do Ha?” Mi Ka leaves.
Joon A thinks Ms. Bae bluffs her rings, because she isn’t confident. But Ms. Bae says that Joon A isn’t different to Mi Ka, because she still didn’t tell Do Ha why she left her five years ago. Joon A’s face falls.
Joon A runs alone the bridge in the evening, and recalls Do Ha asked her why she had to leave him without a word. She runs into Jae Yoo when she is tried. He asks her why she woke him up from his sleep, and ran at night.
Joon A grumbles that Do Ha’s woman isn’t her, Jae Yoo thinks women is complicated. Joon A thinks she needs to confess to Do Ha, and reveals she gave Mi Ka a hard time, because she felt jealous. Jae Yoo thinks she should apologize and give up Do Ha. She sighs, and says that it’s not as easy as she think. He grumbles that he isn’t intention to date anyone in the future because it’s headache. She asks him why he is good at writing love songs. He claims he is a genius.
Mi Ka is in the bus, and recalls Ms. Bae told her that she will bring misfortune to Do Ha. But Do Ha she imagined asks her not to give up.
Do Ha asks Mi Ka why she didn’t pick up her phone, when she is cooking in the kitchen the next day, and reveals he couldn’t sleep well last night. She feels sorry, and asks him to choose from iced latte and black coffee. He chooses black coffee, she gets it for him.
Mi Ka asks Do Ha for date in the evening, he thinks she is suspicious, and asks her if she wants him to buy insurance. She asks him if he doesn’t want to date, he denies, and claims he will complete his jobs quickly. He thinks the black coffee is good, after giving it a try.
Do Ha walks Mi Ka in the evening, and thinks the wind is nice. She recalls he asked her to walk backward, and held her hand. He asks her to have a seat, and claims he has something to tell her. But she is against it, and asks him what he wants to do. He asks her what she wants to do instead. But she claims she is doing it already, and reveals she feels great because of the trees and winds. But he says that he is jealous of trees and winds.
Do Ha is startled by the horror movie, when he is watching it with Mi Ka at home. She sits next to him, he says she still didn’t learn from the previous lesson, and tells her that it’s very dangerous closing a man when his heart is pounding. They have a kiss then. She feels sorry for loving him when he falls asleep on her kneels, and tears up.
He finds out she isn’t in her room after waking up, Woo Jin gives him the letter of resignation she left after Do Ha returned to his office. He takes her out from practice room, and asks her why she moved out of his house. She tells him that she doesn’t like him anymore, he believes what she said because they kissed last night. She says that she will erase him from her memories, and wants to leave. But he holds her hand, and doesn’t want her to go.
