In the 5-6th episodes of Your Honor Korean Drama recap, Kang Ho becomes famous after Ho Sung’s case. He treats So Eun a dinner for thanking her, but the victim appears, and says he destroyed his life. Kang Ho thinks it’s his business since he just sentenced it.
Your Honor Korean Drama Recap: Episode 5

The woman is thrown into the pool to celebrate a guy’s birthday. She seems very happy, and dances in the pool. The guy goes to take off Soo Ho’s tie, but he claims he has a trial tomorrow. Joo Eun shows up, the guy asks Soo Ho and Joo Eun to get along. Soo Ho holds her hand, when she is going to fall into the pool.
Kang Ho calls Bok Soo to his office, and asks him if there is a law allowing a trainee to defy a judge. Bok Soo says that he knows nothing about law. So Eun tells Kang Ho that Ho Sung paid millions of dollars to his lawyer, but only gave 5,000 dollars to victim. He is shocked, and realizes he is fooled by Sang Cheol. Sang Cheol admits that he got five million dollars as the fees. Kang Ho loses his temper as he got only 100 grand.
Ho Sung arrives at court where reporters ask for his statement. So Eun runs into Jung Soo at the elevator, he tells her that prosecutors are the most powerful persons in the court. She doesn’t know how to fight it back, and grumbles that he is despicable.

Ho Sung is nervous while in the waiting room. Sang Cheol comforts him, and suggests him to lower his head. Kang Ho shows up with anger, and thinks Ho Sung must apologize to the victim. Ho Sung claims he sent his regards to comfort him, but Kang Ho mocks him by giving petty $5,000. He announces that the court sentences defendant to seven years in prison. The reporters are shocked, and go outside to report the news. Ho Sung is out of mind, and warns Kang Ho. But Kang Ho announces to hold him in detention for 30 days. Ho Sung is confused, and stares at Sang Cheol. So Eun smiles.
The officers arrest Ho Sung outside. But Sang Cheol stops them, and claims he has something to do with him. So Eun runs into Jung Soo at the elevator again, and invites him to get in. She tells him Kang Ho asked her to write a decision as a practice, and she sentenced Ho Sung to seven years in prison. She is proud, and says that judges are the most powerful.
Ho Sung laughs, and couldn’t believe he will be sent to prison, and asks a lawyer to give him a slap. The lawyer claims they did everything they could, Ho Sung beats him up. Sang Cheol tells Ho Sung that the only way to save him is to be collapse, and pushes him down stairs. He yells at his followers to call an ambulance.

Kang Ho is annoyed by the phones, and leaves his office. So Eun runs into him at the hallway, and thanks him for respecting her decision. She knows he is a nice judge, as he bowed to people in the courtroom. But he grumbles that he lost something big because her decision, and reveals he is going to quit, so that tells her to work hard while high five. Chief Judge shows up, and blames him for didn’t pick up his phone. But Kang Ho is confused. Chief Judge asks him why he didn’t greet him. Kang Ho ignores him, and says Justice to So Eun. Chief Judge follows him, Kang Ho thinks he is too clingy. Chief Judge apologizes, and asks him to return the letter of resignation.
So Hoo hands over the letter of resignation to Chief Judge, but he rips it up.
Chief Judge regrets his decision, and thinks Kang Ho is a punk. Dae Yang gives Sang Cheol a slap, and scolds him for his failure. But Sang Cheol says that he just followed his order, and grasps his father’s hang when Dae Yang wants to slap his son again. Sang Cheol says that he sent Ho Sung to hospital to avoid to go to jail. But Dae Yang thinks even a junior associate knows how to do it. Sang Cheol claims he will do on his own. Dae Yang laughs, and mocks at him by his less power.
Joo Eun knows Soo Ho sent Ho Sung to prison, and broadcasts the news. Geum Mi watches the news, and takes her phone. Soo Ho gets up from brook, and holds up a trunk after attempting many times. Kang Ho finds out he is chased by two guys at the parking lot, he attacks them. But one of the guys says that Mr. Choi is waiting for him. Ms. Choi explains to Kang Ho why he chose there to meet up, Kang Ho grumbles that his wrist is hurt. Mr. Choi laughs, and gives him a bag of cashes for the trial. He offers him one million dollars for Ho Sung’s guilty, and gives him the letter of 10,000 dollars for his mother’s birthday. Kang Ho kisses the letter, and sees him off.
Your Honor Korean Drama Recap: Episode 6
Kang Ho thinks of staying for a month to get the one million dollars, and finds out Soo Ho was intention to travel to Santiago. Ha Yeon has a drink with Sang Cheol in her bar, and worries about Soo Ho gets dismissed. He reveals Soo Ho was thinking of resigning, and thinks she knew it. But she changes the topic, and and wants to set up a blind date for him. He asks about Soo Ho’s resignation again, and mentions she introduced him to Hanyoung Group. She laughs, and says that she wouldn’t do such a silly thing. But she admits it then. Chang Soo shows the news Soo Ho imprisoned Ho Sung to Hae Na who wears black mask, and thinks they should tell the truth. But she takes off her mask, and snaps him. She says that they promised her to sing again. But he thinks they will hold the bargain. She knows it, and wants to give in.
So Eun asks Bok Soo if Soo Ho will come to office today. He guesses he won’t, because Soo Ho is a famous judge. Soo Ho is surrounded by reporters at the lobby, they ask him how he feel about the trial. Soo Ho is startled when facing cameras, but he cheers up colleagues in the office then. But chief judge shows up, and asks him if he submitted his letter of resignation. Kang Ho bows to him, and says he will fulfill his duty. But chief judge thinks he shamed trainee. So Eun disagrees, and thinks Soo Ho made the decision based on his conscience.
Sang Cheol wants to take Soo Ho down, and reveals he informed reported. But Dae Yang wants to let hin fly for a while. Kang Ho gives all of his works to So Eun, but enjoys the snack alone, and asks Bok Soo to call Hae Na.
Soo Ho struggles to return home, and grasps a umbrella to fight invaders. But nobody is in there, and his phone is disappeared. He opens the bag, and finds tons of money. He remembers what Jae Hyung told him he knew everything about him. He shows up at the street, and knows Kang Woo replaces him while watching news. He is furious. Joo Eun has a coffee with her senior, and wants to interview Soo Ho. But the senior doesn’t think she has the ability. She is furious, and throws the cup into trash can.
Kang Ho wants to treat So Eun dinner, since he makes her work late. He turns off the light when she wants to eat rice ball. A guy takes out the knife when they walking.
Kang Ho and So En are talking about Hae Na’s case, the guy breaks into the restaurant. Kang Ho takes his chopsticks as weapon, and we find the guy is the victim of Ho Sung’s case. The restaurant owner Hong Ran drives him away, and Kang Ho catches the guy on the table. The guy asks So Eun if it’s the justice he mentioned, she begs Kang Woo to release him.
The guy tells them he got fired after trial, and Kang Ho became famous. But Kang Ho thinks it’s his business. The guy cries out, and doesn’t know what he can do. Kang Ho gives him the suggestions, “Slaves train the masters. Masters doesn’t train the slaves.” So Eun tries to comfort the victim, but he doesn’t want to see her again. She cries out while squat at a tree.
So Eun remembers Ji Yeon’s words, “Life terrifies me. After being through it myself, it’s even more frightening.”
